That’s how I deal with the mundane chores as a SAHM. I praise God when I start to get overwhelmed. Thank you for the food I get to clean off the plates. Thank you for clean water to wash dishes. Thank you for my dishwasher. Thank you for all these clothes you’ve given us and the places we went that got them all dirty. Thank you for my children and all the toys you’ve blessed them with. Thank you thank you thank you! Even when my husband and I are arguing I’m thankful he’s alive and I get to argue with him. Thanking God gets me away from depression station and gives me a ticket to the JOY train.

Fabulous! It's not often you hear this perspective anymore. My husband and I were married when I was 19 (almost 20) and my husband was 24. We met just a couple months after I turned 18 and probably would have been married sooner had my parents been more on board. 😅 2023 will make 10 years that we've been together. 1/3 of my entire life so far and wouldn't wish it any other way!
Excited to see you grow into a mom and homeschool family someday!

What a lovely video. Thank you for making and sharing. I am a Christian woman who has learned a long lesson that my job is in my home taking care of it my husband and children. Knowing that this is God's plan gives me such drive to do my best. Something I used to despise is now something I am trying to find joy in. My joy is in the Lord so listening to videos like these or worshipping makes these moments precious and rewarding.

Wow I think the Lord sent me this video. I prayed for years before having children that the Lord would allow me to be a full time homemaker. And He has surely made a way. I now have 3 young daughters 6 and under and I am so tired at times. I get so discouraged with the mundane tasks and have trouble with relaxing during the mess of young children. Lately I’ve been tempted to think it would just be easier if I went back to work, but I could never leave my children with strangers. But this was a great reminder of God answering my prayers and his will for my life. Thanks for this video

Many, many times a wife's income can help relieve financial stress. And it is a blessing for children to have a break from their mother to have a chance to grow and be around others. If you're raising your children correctly then you need not fear outside influences.

I love this! I got married young aswell at 19. I love that you got married and became a homemaker even before having kids. I feel like most women work until kids bc they feel there is not reason enough to be at home. but I like you became a homemaker as soon as I got married and I helped my husband in whatever way I could. for us that was helping him start and grow a lawn care business. But it's so important to look after your home and be available to your husband during the day. I loved it. And once you do have kids in my opinion it's an easier transition that going from working to being a full time homemaker. Blessings to you and your fam!

This was absolutely beautiful -- your family is so very blessed to have you!! In Hebrew, the word for 'home' is the same as the word for 'wife' -- so quite literally, when the wife is not at peace, the home is not at peace; when the wife is not joyful, the home is not joyful; when the wife is flat, the home is flat. We set the tone for the home -- we ARE the home! 🏡❤️ (From a Jewish, homeschooling, homemaking mama -- I met my husband when I was 13 and he was 15 (we were penpals! he was in Nebraska, I was in Australia), we met in person when I was 17, married when I was 19 and had our first child when I was 20. That was 18 years ago!! and boy oh boy, what a wonderful, WONDERFUL life!)

Honestly though, it’s refreshing to see young women taking their role as wife and homemaker seriously. As someone who got married two weeks after I turned 21, I felt very alone. First time watching a video of yours after you coming up first for me searching "Christian homemaking"
"First thing in the morning straightening up and cleaning" ahhhhhh noo.... I'm already frustrated watching and had to turn it off 🙈🙈🙈 i used to "tidy up" First thing in the morning and realized how much it frustrated me First thing in the morning. I don't go to sleep anymore without tidying up my kitchen and downstairs living area. We have 4 kids. We spend time together and then together i have kids help tidy. Yes they are tiny tots but even they can help. I quickly load dishes in dishwasher. Wipe counts ect. No deep clean. But just nice and tidy. My morning moods have done complete 180 since. I wake up and I'm so happy to get going instead of dreading coming downstairs knowing I'll be cleaning up First thing from night before. Anyways. I'm glad it works for you. I just didn't find this video relaxing and made me frustrated imagining myself doing this first thing in the morning 😅

I don't understand. I clicked this because it said biblical homemaking. Five minutes into the video and have heard nothing about God. I see nothing different from worldly homemaking videos. It's so far all about "you", moods and "rituals" what??? Look I am not trying to be mean, it's just that God comes first. My morning begins with prayer and scripture reading and writing. I hear now the scripture references but not sure this is what I was looking for. God bless.

I agree with your philosophy about living in Christ. But I have had to wait for marriage I’m almost 40, but I trust in Gods timing. In the meantime I have earned my Bachelors degree in forensic science. I have learned that I DON’T want kids never have. To me it’s very important to serve the Lord by going out and serve him through my career. I CANNOT feel right in Gods eyes by just staying home and care for a house, it’s wrong. Because if something happens to my spouse. I need to bring home the bacon and I’m more than happy to. I have to be able to care for him and myself. Not being able to do that is wrong and not of God.

I honestly believe that doing the bare minimum is better than a public school education (which I had). I was an only child, too, and would have loved for my mom to do what you’re doing. I wish I could leave my dishes to morning but we live in a nut orchard and dirty dishes can attract mice really quickly here so I make sure they're scraped and perhaps leave them in the sink with water if im not able/wanting to do them after dinner. That way if a renegade mouse does get inside there's no actual food for them to find. Living in the country is a blessing but mice will take any opportunity to try and come inside! One time I left a skillet with grease inside the oven and a mouse had been attracted to the grease! Please don't thinknwe have an infestation lol where we live rodents can become a problem if you aren't on top of keeping watch for signs and setting traps. The worst times are right before a cold snap or in the spring. I maybe trap 1 a month under the sink where the pipe comes through a hole in the wood floor or occasionally they'll come up the stove propane pipe through the floor.

Thank you! I do not often write comments, but I had to thank you and the Lord for this video. I was searching something like this. There are so many women who make videos about homemaking but it is so hard to try to do everything WITHOUT God. We truly have nothing WITHOUT God, as you said. And I am so happy to find out that you are my age. I guess you would be 23 by today, as myself.

I would very much like to raise my children with home education, but unfortunately here in the Netherlands that is hardly possible. I am very grateful that they go to a Christian school, our school is therefore called "school with the Bible". Thank you for the tips, lots of love from a mother from the Netherlands♡♡

This was really nice to see. I am getting married in a year and once we are married I am going to be a homemaker. I am so excited but realised that I need to learn a lot if I want to be good at homemaking when I start. I have been longing for some spiritual guidance and this was really nice to see (religious homemaking is really looked down upon in NZ so it is hard to find others to look up to). Thank you for sharing your day

I just found this video and it was so encouraging. I work part time and waiting on the Lord for a child, but I struggle with trying to keep up with the home. It feels never-ending, even with just me and my husband. But I always appreciate a reminder that doing work in the home is not to impress others or to achieve a Pinterest home, but it's work unto the Lord and a way to bless my husband (and God willing, future children). I enjoyed this video and appreciate the reminder while I clean and tidy up my own home this morning.

Praying God causes your womb to be fruitful so that you and your husband can have as many children as God intends. May the Lord strengthen you each day as you follow Him so closely. You have abundant wisdom in Him, and I praise Him for you sharing His Word with women to be encouraged to keep their homes. I wasn’t able to stay at home until about 6 years ago. My youngest is 15, but we also have a 22 year old and a 29 year old (she is married and they have a beautiful baby girl). I always wanted to be a stay at home wife and mom, and I was so tickled when God granted it, even though it was later in life. 🙏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾♥️

Thank you so much for your prayers and your kind words! My prayers are also for you and yours.
When I was 16, I prayed that God would send me a dream showing me how my life would be if I served God. I was sent a beautiful dream. One of the details of my future was being married by the age of 20 and starting a family. But I didn’t serve God until I was 22.
When I was in my late 20s, I lived content in the Lord and as though I might never marry.
After choosing to serve God, I had a series of dreams about a man, one every 2 years, so I knew God had another man for me, despite me not serving Him when I was young. When the 2 year mark came and I was expecting the 4th dream, God allowed me to meet him. Before I met him, God made it clear to me that he wasn’t in a good place and he might choose or not choose to be with me. I prayed to know whether God had someone else for me if he chose a different path.
When we were still talking and I was fasting and praying about us, he was distancing himself and God started showing me that He had another plan if this man failed. At the age of 29-30. I had a dream where I received a prophecy. It told me that God had a husband and children for me. I prayed for confirmation. I received a prophecy that told me that God had seen where I had sought Him concerning a companion and that He had visited me in my thoughts and dreams. Then, the following year, a prophet came from out of state and told me that the love on this earth would fail me, but God’s love never would. I fasted the following day and, when I was in prayer before I broke the fast, God spoke to me and told me, concerning a companion, to lay it at His feet, leave it there, to not pick it up again, and to be very, very patient. I went to church the next Sunday and another prophet from out of state spoke the same exact words God had spoken to me when I was fasting.
He did end up eventually walking down another path and it was very sad, but God started sending me dreams of another man. I’m shown almost nothing about him. God wants me to be fully surprised this time. I only know that he is good to me, so that rules out everyone who has asked me out in the last 3 years, unfortunately.
I have faith that God will keep His promises to me if I serve Him. I also have a beautiful life with Him. I survived a stroke in 2019. You couldn’t even tell that I’ve had one. I’m fully living on my own for the first time in my life since February. God has been so good to me.

@@Daisha92 I’m very thankful that God has confirmed to me that this desire is from Him. There are many who desire, but never see their dreams come into fruition and have to surrender to God’s will. God knows I have definitely had to surrender some of mine. I only hope and pray that I can do my part in God’s plan and don’t get in the way of what He’s doing. 😊

I love being home with my three young kiddos and serving the Lord through my work at home. I love the blessing of being able to serve my husband and support him by making a safe, beautiful, and peaceful home for him to be at outside of work.
Being home has allowed me to be a light toward Christ for my children and for my husband and their faith has grown greatly because God has encouraged me to stay home. As a family, we have been able to light other family’s path to Christ.
