I pray you will return! All churches are full of people with a sin nature so you’ll never find a “perfect church” but to be surrounded by believers is what god wants for us. Community jw so important!
I find that being a part of a church similar to marriage. The longer you stay, the more you see people’s flaws, and it’s so easy to grow discontent. But you just have to remember that love covers a multitude of sin, and acknowledge the fact that we make mistakes sometimes too. We are suppose to be merciful and forgiving, as Christ was to us. So I definitely encourage you to go back to church, but I also suggest finding a good Bible believing church that teaches right doctrine. Since many churches out there nowadays are apostate and lukewarm.

I recently returned after a decade of hard times. Never have I felt lighter and more at peace. It has led me to be more present with my kids, and has helped my anxiety subside. The church also led me to the minimal mom here on youtube which helped me get back on top of my home and make it a place where my family can thrive. I will say I didn't go back to a denomination, I found a place that suited my family the best which just wasn't what I grew up with. But it's the best thing I have done.
LOVE THIS! My take always-How to create a peaceful home: 1. Have an attitude of prayer/meditation all day long. Ask Jesus to give peace and be the center of the home. Pray that the thoughts of my heart and actions/intentions be pleasing in the sight of the Lord 2. Limit screen time. Don't have a busy schedule. Everything that comes in your home, affects the peace of your home. Run everything that comes into your home (whether through screens, books, music, or items) through Phil. 4:8 3. When on edge--turn on worship music. Need noise in the house? Play worship music instead of leaving the TV on 4. Get outside 5. Set the mood: lighting candles, open windows, worship music, diffuse essential oils, wax warmer. A cozy, warm atmosphere. Clean and tidy home

Amen. I love it. Get rid of all the fluffy noise! We haven't had TV in about 7 years due to content. It's nice to see someone else who understands. We have all sorts of videos, but we rarely have our TV on. Unless of course we are playing Christian content for those we are trying to teach.
I do all of these on the daily! Except i could light more candles at dinner and also I will say the lord put fasting and prayer over my own struggles as as a mom/wife to restore peace within me. I had become soo easily irritated and angry and had built a habit of this that it led me to be super accusative toward my hubs and snapping at my children often. I knew something was seriously wrong but couldn’t get a grip. It wasn’t till I fasted for another friends marriage that I literally felt something lift up and out of me and I just had calmness and contentment and a sound mind and I knew it was real for in that same day and days following nothing changed except my responses and also was just not offended or hurt by what use to hurt me so easily. If it still bothered me I could calmly respond and go pray about it and was good again! The Holy Spirit really lives within his corroded but sometimes our own stubbornness to live how we want can quench Holy Spirit and allow the enemy to bring a heaviness but I love that thethe Lord leads us to repentance and sometimes just supernatural brings freedom, but lord knows I had been asking for help in those areas and asking to be filled by His Holy Spirit and he did🎉❤❤❤

The hammock: I love camping. No devices. We bring our Bibles and the kids have hammocks but I have the zero gravity chair. Sitting there w my tea and Bible, taking the occasional naps lol It’s my absolute favorite

You are right a open schedule helps with bringing peace in our life. Praise music is life for all of us. We follow a 1000 hours guide we love it for accountability

I love using the Abide app for meditating on God's word. I agree about the TV situation, I stopped watching TV back in 2017 best choice ever. Back when I was caregiving my mom, she liked watching TV and listening to the radio and I didn't. She passed away 2 years ago and I don't have to even look at the TV anymore if I don't want to and it's so peaceful! My dad has a TV in his room and likes to watch it in there. It's a blessing to not have a TV or radio going all the time, it's peaceful and quiet. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing your insights, I appreciate it.

I just saw this video, just finding your channel. I am ahead on the children aspect as our is grown and we are starting the grandparent part of life. We are in our young 50’s and can’t wait to enjoy that new part of life for us. Thankfully, we instilled in our daughter things that she is planning on continuing with her child(ren) that will hopefully help her have a more peaceful home. I love what you have said and the advice you have given. It is so refreshing to hear someone speak so heartfelt about the Lord. Thank you for a peaceful video that is informative for so many. I found Jesus recently. More like he called me.. I'm not a mom but I'm a caregiver for my mom. My fiance and I have a Rocky past but I want to learn to be a good loving Daughter and wife one day. ❤. Thank you for your videos.
I think peace needs a lot of work not only from mom also from dad and if one of them is not trying for peace then that's when is a struggle right there, I'm a home mom of 7 kids from 16 to 15 month Old and I still nursing her because I want to keep enjoying her she is my last baby anyways, I always feel that I'm the one is trying every day for peace for many years and I have a lot of patience but my husband has no patience at all, ,😔I feel that I'm carrying everything and he's just washing it off just because he's the one the works and support financially and that's all he needs to do , and we are christians in the apostolic but if one goes in different direction then is not working, what can I do besides praying?
@@AnnaBruceCo I've tried that,, and I get a lot of promises from him but till now nothing has changed, I believe is the way his parents raised him , because his parents still ordering him like a little boy, I heard once his mom talking to him on the phone and told him that he first had a mother and father then comes the wife,,,, I talk to the pastor counselor about it and we talked about changing that but he stills don't care,, I love him is being so many years of marriage that I still don't want to give up because I know God is going to change him and I know God will give more patience and love for my kids and my husband.

Anna, First time here. I am in a season of "No peace in my home. ". Hubby believes but Christ is not up front and personal with him. He drinks too much and it's like walking on eggshells.

Start by praying. Then talk to him about how you’re feeling. Then Christian counseling or a week/weekend away at a Christian retreat

I’m not a wife or mother yet, but God led me to your channel. I’m afraid to be a wife and mother because men now a days demand so much it’s crazy, it’s like raising a child. They don’t want to lead for nothing.
There are a lot of men out there like that I’m sure, but if you pray and seek the Lord he will lead you to the right one!
