Valerie is so brave to go on tv when she's feeling so vulnerable from a divorce. It looks like the tears took her by surprise. You are loved by many Valerie.
Valerie, you're so loved and adored. We grew up together, and you're relatable. Struggling with my own weight issues, your comment today about our weight at times protecting us was so profound! Thank you for always letting us in; do YOU and know we'll always adore you!
I gained a lot of weight during a very stressful period of my life (2018-2020). But after caring for my mother-in-law, when she died I made my own health a priority once again. Slowly the weight is coming off and I look and feel better. You can do this too Pamela. What worked for me was eating a plant based diet and walking daily. I’m happy to share my experience with people who are struggling with weight loss.❤️❤️
she carries her weight in her hips and this is just genetically determined. We cant go against what our genes already have dictated for us and the world would be a better place if people stopped placing so much emphasis on one ideal body type because it is not realistic. Pamela, remember, drinks have sugar too so if you are a coffee drinker or buy smoothies (especially the NAKED) ones they have a ton of sugar too. I used to get those Lemonade refreshers from Starbucks and then I saw the sugar content and it was almost as bad as just guzzling soda! You also dont want to give up carbs completely! Your body needs the carbs! But "good carbs" sweet potatoe, beans, veggies, oatmeal, rice..
Valerie and I are from the same area. I have been a fan of hers since the 1st show I saw her in. I'm still in awe of how "normal" she is. Fame definitely didn't go to her head. She is still such a sweetheart. Prayers lifted. I can feel her pain.
When she says that love is still there even after someone’s gone, that really was a huge reminder for me as I continue to grieve the passing of several loved ones. The love is still alive that we shared because we STILL share it with them. It’s not a one-sided, lonely love. They are still loving me, just in a different form from behind the veil in the heavenly realm. Love wins because it doesn’t die; it’s eternal and lives on.
I too am going through the same personal and deep grief as well. I’ve had several losses including my beloved adopted mom. Right before Christmas, it’s incredibly hard being parentless and at times the grief knocks me down like a ton of bricks.😥💔😔 I often appreciate at least Valerie Bertinelli’s openness and vulnerability about her own struggles and brokenness. Despite the fame and success she has, grief is personal, individual, and not easy such as is this life. 🥀 I also really love the song her son created in honor and dedication to his beloved late dad. As it reminds me of my own late papa… 😢😔😢 My sincerest condolences @TL Hop to you, I’m sorry for your losses as well.
@@michaeld.williamsiii9026 Thank you. My sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother and other loved ones, as well. I pray that you will be comforted in your time of grief.

How can you not love Valerie Bertinelli?! She is adorable, humble and kind beyond measure, and as genuine as they come. A real woman. A pure heart. ❤❤❤

I've watched Valerie on TV from the early years, because I'm the same age. I like the fact that she keeps it real, and not sugar coated. Makes us feel that we can relate!
Very sweet, very down to earth, very loving, even in these times. Hard times. It's good to see that she's able to keep her head up high. God bless you Valerie.
She's one of the few in Hollywood who is genuine and precious. An absolutely lovely woman. I wish I had her as a friend. I genuinely hope she attains peace and happiness. If she found love again, that would be great but ultimately, healing comes first.
Valerie said exactly what I have said so many times “nobody goes into a marriage thinking they’re going to get a divorce”. I’ve been a fan of hers for yrs. I also love the song her son dedicated to his dad. Keep strong, you got this!

Valerie…..I’ve “known” you since we were both teens of the same age, back when I never missed an episode of One Day at a Time. I hear you girl! I’m at the same age & place in my life and listening to you talk of not seeking another relationship was as though you were speaking my truth. The very BEST Life to you!
Valerie: I wish this for you. Been there done that with the divorce issues...I have always enjoyed my own company. Think about it. I think every woman needs to experience being completely alone. I mean not a soul texting or calling her alone. Like solo camping/glamping alone. Paying her own way, pampering herself, solo dinner dates, self care! This helps build strength. The reason why this is important is because if she doesn’t know how to be alone, then she ends up tolerating things she doesn’t deserve because she fears being alone. A woman who can be alone is a dangerous breed. And because she knows how to be alone, nonsense is not tolerated
Wow you hit that on the nail!! So good! No wonder when something goes bad I always revert to be alone. Only strong women can do that your so right.. it makes sense…

Been divorced twice and looking back divorced is death and been single 25 yrs and I have out lived both my husband's so we never know what coming next one day at time.
I love Valerie - loved her since she was a teen. I barely make it week thru week financially yet for the most part I am happy, so goes to show that having money, never worrying about being homeless, going without food or heat, or a decent vehicle or that kind of stress and you can still be unhappy. I hope she gets there! To happiness!

I’m actually now very cautious in getting involved in a relationship because it had failed and I realized that “enough is really enough”, there are times that I feel overwhelmed but these feelings fade and I’m back on track. Thank you Valerie for sharing your story with us. We love you.
Twice divorced and I concur with what she said. Never thought I'd be alone @ 67 well my son's here but she meant with someone. I gave so much to both those relationships and I'm sure she did too. Why is it that people always ALWAYS get on us/the one's that didn't FILE for the divorce? It was their move not ours. Everyone has a word of advise for you when you become either single again or a parent. Everyone weather you want to hear it or not. The thing that stings the most is the dishonesty and deception that was practiced by both ex wives. They wanted ME to be honest but them? It was avoided.
Valerie don't worry about your weight so much you still have that beautiful face beautiful hair and that beautiful personality that will be with you the rest of your life
I understand what she means. I divorced my husband after 13 years. Had "relationships" but it was hard to get past the shallowness, so I've been alone by choice for 20 years. I hope she heals. She's obviously going through a difficult time.
Love Valerie so much! What a classic gorgeous beauty, inside and out. Absolutely adore her charm, and sweet heart giggle/ laugh. Another great interview from Today Show! She looks and sounds exactly as back then. ♥️❤️🥰😍😘🤩✨🌟⚜️💎👑🫶🏻

That's funny because when I tell people I'm looking for a husband, they respond " are you crazy? Why do you want to do that? Your life is perfect, you don't need any trouble or complications!"
I like her soooo much. She’s great and real, been through so much but still uplifting and full of hope for a wonderful future ❤️ What a great friend she must be, wish I knew her personally.
I'm so glad to see this. I was just thinking about Valerie the other day. She has experienced many hardships and I'm thankful for this video and to see how she is doing. She always seems very honest and caring, kind, genuine, smart, beautiful and ever so talented. I love watching her on Kids Baking Championship. And she has 6 cats! Yay! I have three. I think Valerie is one of America’s most loved women. There has always been such a comfortable, fun loving, beautiful, kind presence about her.
Valerie don't worry about your weight so much you still have that beautiful face beautiful hair and that beautiful personality that will be with you the rest of your life
She's always been adorable.
I understand what she means. I divorced my husband after 13 years. Had "relationships" but it was hard to get past the shallowness, so I've been alone by choice for 20 years. I hope she heals. She's obviously going through a difficult time.
Valerie is and always has been so cute! Love her and she is real. Great soul!
Valerie was wild when I lived in L.A. (WAY too many years ago). She had a fabulous time ! I never met her myself, but back then guys talked with each other. She was one fun 🤩 person. And, to my eyes, I think she always will be. Bless her light 💡 in the world.
That's the best word: Love! She's cool for saying such, and meaning it. It's inspirational. What a fun attitude! Thanks Valerie.
I've always loved her.
I’m 54 and am at the point where i don’t want to be in a relationship. Many older women feel that way..
I'm 58 and I feel the same way. It's ok.
I feel the same way.
That's funny because when I tell people I'm looking for a husband, they respond " are you crazy? Why do you want to do that? Your life is perfect, you don't need any trouble or complications!"
Do you still need to get it on though?
@@forgotmyname4971 LMAO.
STILL WATCH HER ONE DAY AT A TIME ❤️
Valerie is so real and honest. She is a beautiful person inside and out. God Bless you and stay just the way you are.
I love Valerie, what a wonderful lady!
I like her soooo much. She’s great and real, been through so much but still uplifting and full of hope for a wonderful future ❤️
What a great friend she must be, wish I knew her personally.
I grew up with this lady on TV and she has proven to be a jewel for her family and I agree love always wins Valerie! xo
They give me strength to get through each day. I like how she can be so honest and still have a sense of humor through life's challenges.
