Being Sub 40s wind protection is key! So some overview of the new Performance Tour Motorcycle and how does this baby feel in colder temps!!

    This! This is the bike that made me put an order in on a new Pursuit. I had liked the performance from the Challenger, but my wife was all about the luggage space and comfort on my Roadglide Limited. The Pursuit answers both needs. Performance and comfort. • @sesquashtwo
      @sesquashtwo 2 года назад

      Same here...if you're gonna own this bike...I'd for sure...own the best and most feature rich version of it...and that for me...until I in fact order is the Pursuit Limited Premium Package in either (haven't decided this yet...the Maroon Red, or the Blue). I have had a heated seat...and once you do...you NEVER want to ride in early Spring, and Late Fall without the ability to turn that feature on, if you need it. Two weeks ago, riding at 85 mph down the interstate on my heated seat/grips, I was totally comfortable at 37 F (in sun and cloud) weather. The minute I turned off the heated seat that of course heats your entire body's blood supply/ circulation via your butt contact,...I started to feel the bite of the cold in the cockpit. (I did this just for myself, to remind me of the A/B test of having heat warming your entire body through your butt contact, ((and your blood supply)) as well as the heated grips for the palms and fingers.) Heated seats (saddle) and grips really gives you that great comfort extended riding at both ends of the normal riding season around the Great Lakes, and for sure, you want it as you climb in elevation, even in the mid months of the summer in the mountains of 5,000 feet or more. Been there, done that...and know what I am typing about...

    39F is 3.5C here in Canada. My first ride of the year (April 2 2022) it was 3C with wind -3C so 26F haha.
    My Chieftain has the rear brake peg like the Challenger. I just put on the Kuryakyn spear brake and shifter pads. Big improvment. I am like you, I use my rear brake a lot.
    I want to add the hard lowers (to help with buffeting) and trunk to my Chieftain Limited (to store my helmet in while at stores/restaurants).
    The stock exhaust sounds not bad in sport mode only. It is not loud enough in other modes. So I am doing research right now on different exhausts as I want a bit louder and deeper compared to stock. So right now the 3 at the top are Tab Slip ons with 2.5 or Zombies (like that I can change the baffles so if I go to a 2-1-2 or 2-1 header I can change the loudness), Rineharts (again have an option for Hi Flow Baffles with headers) or Lloyds signature exhaust.
    Great Vid as always dude.

      So I used Amsoil in the Vic I believe.. but it says formulated FOR VICTORY or something like that!.. on the Challenger I have used Indians oil and Lloyd'z Garage oil! Some times there can be slipping if the oil isn't "FOR" VIC\INDIAN because it's a one oil system... I have heard horror stories but never had an issue with those three companies!

      They did the same thing with the chieftain and RM.. As much as I wanted the pursuit to be a different motorcycle with the power plus motor.. they also needed this Challenger Tour model...

      @@Ridingfish Agreed. It's all marketing Not sure why they just didn't make a Chieftain and the Chieftain Touring (roadmaster). And then Challenger / Challenger Touring. I have a Roadmaster and i hate the name, I just tell people i have a Chieftain with a tour pack lol
