Hearing of Bison closing made me wonder about my choice of Indian, but this will be such a great dealership with the new owners! So glad that this has happened. I'll be giving them all my 2 wheel business.
The dealership has much as it looked bad was nothing about Indian Motorcycle as a business and more about a Couple ready to be 100% family!!.. but this was best case scenario for sure!! We are only a couple weeks away from riding

So glad to see this development. We need more local Indian dealerships up here in the plains, not less. In South Dakota we only have 2. One here in Sioux Falls and one in Sturgis. It would be nice to have some in between. I wish them good fortune in their new enterprise.

This is great news. And it’s such a nice dealership. I watch Bob and Pat. They are St.Paul Sherriff’s off St.Paul and I watch their live streams all the time. Even though I’m from California. I’d like to get to see that dealership soon.

Bison used to let you take a bike out on your own, not a tag-along? If IM St Paul lets you take it out on your own, that would be a bonus
I don't know the Answer to this!! But you are correct the option to take it without a Tag Along is and was NICE!
Great news if you are around the blue dark horse challenger and blue limited challenger put them on camera haven’t seen the dh yet but I’m a Cowboy fan so looking for something close that looks great

Show room is Big., with bikes aplenty. How'd y'all manage that. Wishing my local dealer had more stock to gander. Its January, so maybe things will change in a few months.
I would hope the stock gets pumped up also this next couple of months

I wish my dealer was open to test rides. you can't test ride anything unless it is a used bike you are looking at. :(
See that's wrong I they don't let you test ride. I was surprised this summer when I tried to test ride a couple HDs for reviews that some didn't allow it. Like what Fxxxx... I hope that trend stops
@@Ridingfish my local HD will allow test rides andf they have demo days. My local Indian Dealer does not have demo days ever. Guess we are too small here.
Next Indian dealer is 5 1/2 hour ride to deal with. So if i was to mod my bike and something went wrong, I would have to rent a trailer, and drive the distance to get it looked at. Depending on what is wrong I would either have to stay in a hotel, my truck or drive all the way home and drive all the way back to get it.
I love my Chieftain Limited, but I should have did more research but I was brand noew to motorcycles so I didn't know better. Shame on me I guess haha.
Wait... your local indian dealer won't work on your bike?? Or it's 5.5 hours away??
@@Ridingfish They will work on the bike, but they flat out told me that If I alter the ECU flash in anyway that the warranty will be voided.
They are not willing to carry non Indian stuff either so I have to out source slip ons, air intake (if I want non Indian) and so on.
I asked about getting catless headers and they said go ahead if you want but if there is any issues there will be no warranty on your bike.
Like WTF what about standing behind the customer and trying to do what you can for them....
Like I said I love my Chieftain Limited and like that there is only 1 hole to do for maintenance for oil changes and how nice of a ride stock it is.
If I would have done my homework like I normally do and found this out before hand, I probably would have went to the dark side instead as they are all about performance and have their own dyno machine locally.
Oh well live and learn I guess. Just have to decide do I want to keep warranty after tha factory 2 years or do I want to say screw it and do full exhaust and 126 kit with cams from Lloydz haha
I am kind of worried about the engine/electronics as this is my first bike ever. I know I shouldn't have to worry as long as I do not go crazy on mods, but there is always that "what if" in the back of my mind. I want to lay down Miles not park it until I can fix it. Bad enough I have to park it for 6 months of the year do to cold weather and snow.
It amazes me how many people think that there’s an “x “ in the word “ especially “. She talks so intelligently then suddenly mispronounces especially and my heart sinks like , damn.

And what's the deal with that Surcharge thing with Indian? I like Indian, but Why did they drop the Vintage line?
Well they still have the old school looking Springfield.. idk I think just to make more room for other bikes

I Love the good news 📰 from Oakdale talk them in to putting one in Mississippi NO strike that I forgot men in Mississippi don’t ride motorcycles 😥 you or blessed and highly favored in the twin Cities 🌆 For me and my house I am going to Charlotte North Carolina
And purpose a new Challenger 540 Miles East on interstate 20 and I will be there my wife/boss said she wood drive me To the best Indian dealer in North America 🇺🇸 I am excited about meeting everyone in Charlotte and them going to the Twin Cities ❤️🤍💙 Great news

I live in upstate South Carolina 10 minutes from the Moonshine Highway. If you never road on it our mountains aren't as big as they were when it lived in Logan Utah but they are beautiful. Hit me up on face book.
