  • After a one-way ride from Southern California to Minnesota it is fair to say i can really speak to what I do and don't like about the ‪@Indian_Motorcycle‬ Pursuit!!
    Im Ridingfish,
    I ride an @Indian Challenger white dark horse! I bought it at INDIAN MOTORCYCLE OF St. Paul. They are my home dealership but as you find on my channel I have worked with many different dealers around the USA.. My favorite thing about this RUclips thing is that I love growing the motorcycle community! Meeting and hanging out!! Ride Hard,

    Great review. took your pointer on the lower vents and that worked. Also on making sure to preload the rear shock. Huge difference in ride quality/performance from not doing that to doing it. Had a 21 CVO with the 117 and it was a dog.Big and clunky, the RG feels top heavy. The Challenger has it all. Power, handles better, suspension is better and center of gravity is better and IMO looks better. When I first seen it I skeptical of it, but it really grew on me and now think it looks way better than a RG.

    Pretty decent review. I would disagree on 1 point. The brake pedal needs to be a pedal. I had to do a panic stop from about 45 mph and that foot pedal provided the necessary leverage needed to haul my Pursuit to a stop. My rear tire skidded for the first 2 feet then the anti-lock brakes took over and worked like a charm to prevent further lock up and there was no side pull on the bike. In my opinion, the Pursuit is a much better bike than either the Challenger or the Roadmaster and I've owned both. My recommendation, if budget is not an issue, get the Premium package !!!! You won't regret it.

      I wouldn't say "need," but I can see where it's a personal preference between riders. A pedal versus a peg has nothing to do with leverage. The leverage gained would be in the design of the brake arm that connects to the master cylinder - the angle, length, etc. And how well the braking mechanism works.

    • @youcanthide004

    Just a question about your preference. I know everyone likes different models and they fit people differently. How does the Pursuit compare to the Road Master that you and Curtis rode last year? I ride a Road Master and really like it. I’ve ridden a couple of demo Challenger’s and loved the power but didn’t spend enough time on them to see how they were on a long trip.

    • @Ridingfish

      I think the suspension is probably better on the Pursuit! The power runs differently on the PP108 and likes to be revved out where to TS like that low end power.. then there is fitment.. a shorter rider may like the RM more! But the bigger riders probably would prefer the Pursuit...

    I'd suggest you keep the engine stock. Once you get into the engine, it all is on the tuner, and the tuner doesn't have the skill, time, or resources or do the validation Polaris engineering put into what was shipped from the factory.

    • @Ridingfish
      @Ridingfish  Год назад +1

      I hear you!! But the one difference is the tuner doesn't have to worry about EPA and need to lean them out to make them pass

    • @markman7
      @markman7 Год назад +1

      @@Ridingfish I could give 2 shits less about the epa too. It's about air/fuel ratio, detonation, and other tuning parameters that will either shorten or extend the life of your engine. Tuners are usually quick to get a bike out the door as historically the fee is fixed no matter how much time he/she puts into it. Not their bike. Just like snowmobiles, you want more power, get a bigger factory sled.
