Bogren IRˋs really changed my life. I always had some trouble with tweaking on my helix, but these IRˋs just nailed it. No comparison to most other IRˋs on the market.
Is there anything usable for grunge/stoner in those packs? Like for an Orange/Strat combo.. All I hear is this modern metal stuff. I like how those are mix ready, would save me a lot of time!
I bought the rhythm pack last week after my pod go arrived. Im glad i did because i was going to send the pod go back to zzounds before loading those irs. Not that the pod go was bad. It was just not better than my katana enough to justify the cost with the factory cabs. After these irs i now realize the pod go could be sold for much more if they just paid more attention to the cabs preloaded. So maybe its a good thing the stock ones are horrible lol.
@@Bogren.Digital most definitely the speaker is the heart of the sound. Thanks for all you do for metal man. The look on my guitar teachers face when he looked down and read Cockjuice 51 was hilarious as well lol.
My old ass ears heard absolutely zero difference between any combination of IR layers until the fourth blend position at 8:40. Will probably still buy. 😁
I think Fluff is using too much gain here or combining too many IRs maybe. Other vids demonstrate much more clarity. Palm mutes at 5:00 don't sound as clean they should imo even solo'd.
Videos like this are incredibly frustrating for me, as they just make me feel so dumb. I'm listening/watching with headphones on, and I honestly can't hear any difference in tone whatsoever, throughout the entire video, leads or clean. Whenever he's like "you can hear it's crunchier or beefier now", I'm like, "No, I honestly cannot hear even a slight difference, at all." I wish I could, but I just don't get this stuff. I can't be the only one, right? I love guitar, tone, and gear, and am young with no hearing loss. Are my ears just that shitty after all this time, or do you have to have a SUPER nuanced and trained ear for tone, in order to notice the slight differences that stacking IR's can bring to the sound? Or maybe the sonic differences just don't translate well to video? I don't know, I just don't get it. I'm just starting to learn about Impulse responses, and I will say though, in other videos I've watched, the difference in tone from different impulse responses is very clear and noticeable.
Why would someone do that to a Les Paul Standard? EMG 88's...really...Nothing beats the stock pickups on a true build. It looks like the bridge pickup is lower than Dr. Dre's Low rider. Just No. Sick riff though!
Thanks for the video, Fluff! So great to hear our pack made it into your live rig. Double awesome to see Ray here!
I got these a month ago. It made finding my tone really fast. Such a great pack of IRs.

Cheers, man. You are definitely not missing the point.
@@Bogren.Digital GreasyBeard is my favorite IR ever
I picked this pack up after I got the rhythm awhile back. They just sit so well in the mix. Excellent rundown & tones Fluff 💯
Awesome to hear that, Adam! \m/
RAY!!! Great video and great surprise. 2 of my favorite dudes on RUclips

Thanks! That's very true. Even the old, original POD sounds way better with proper cabs. That's where the tone lives!

I heard these are duds and he hides his real IR packs in a snowy mountain guarded my undead sabre tooth tigers… still gonna buy them though of course
Jens is the fuckin' Tone Whisperer, man.
Sunn model T spotted!
Not for me. The overall tones are way too scooped. It’s needs more mids to cut through. Not sure if it’s the amp sim or the IR. 🤔

Oh, the video is totally unbiased then.
