Watched her perform in Nashville last year. She played continuously for 2.5 hours and then ended the show with this song...each note...perfect..I was screaming so hard thought I might die of happiness...out of this world
Same thing happened at her concert in Vancouver, BC. After two-plus hours of nonstop dancing, sprinting between instruments, melting faces for like three encores, Tash broke out the twelve-string and played Blackbird. I looked around and everyone was just staring transfixed with their jaws on the floor, I'm pretty sure nobody blinked for like eleven minutes. I'll remember that for a long time.
I'm 64 years old. Traveled a ton, Europe, Asia North and Central American, Caribbean etc. Hundreds and hundreds of big time concerts, thousands of smaller venues. Never EVER have I heard anything at all like this. She's beyond amazing. She could've been at Woodstock and made history. (No I didn't go to Woodstock. I was 14) Coming to Boston on May 14th? Hope it's not sold out!!!
I agree. 'Jungle' was one that impressed me so immensely. Listening to the all-time greats and appreciating some of the best music to come out in the last 40 years it was hard for me to wrap my head around a solo performance like that. From the intuitive play style of the instruments that almost transcends skill to the sheer tenacity of the overall performance. She's something special and if there really is a 'muse' out there, she really connects well with it.
This is pretty incredible. In all the world, how many other people can do two-hand fretting on an acoustic 12 with this much fluidly, with this much vigor? Steve Tibbetts, Kaki King, Leo Kottke... Hedges? That may be it! And we are witnessing a unique new voice.
It is so sad share this masterpiece with your friends and at the half of the song, they want change it because it is too "long" ¬¬ But reading the comments, I know that I'm not the only one who enjoy all these eargasmic 574 seconds
This is one of the most cathartic songs I’ve ever heard. It’s magic. It’s beautiful. It’s exciting and calming all at the same time. It rips my heart open every time I listen to it.
This music has planted a seed inside of my consciousness sprouting, sprouting- bounds of colors and sunshine from every sprout; it grows as I listen. eventually bursting in a bombastic fruitful beauty that is Tashs soul manifesting itself in my ears. Bless this new album.
Its because of her music i got into painting and everything i paint is with bold colours exploding into one another i actually spent 9 hours on one of my paintings listening to to tash the whole way through! Tash makes me feel so euphoric she is my drug that keeps me connected to my inner creativity. I love you TASH!
Imagine a long dusty road stretching through desert terrain, heat waves sizzling off of the tarmac, the occasional lizard scurrying from rock to rock, vultures circling the sky. Then the night falls and you're greeted with a cool breeze under the glow of a crescent moon. Coyotes howl. The mountains in the distance call to you. This. This is the song.
By far my favourite song of hers, absolutely amazing and hypnotic. A song you just can’t dislike. Saw her live once and man, her vibe and soul just brings a euphoric energy. Brings love and people together
By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is the noblest; second, by imitation, which is the easiest; and third, by experience, which is the bitterest.

I know Fleetwood Mac is one of Tash's favorite bands & the beat of this song gives me a lot of "Chains" vibes. DIG IT. DIG HER. DIG HER MUSIC. EVERY NOTE.

The second I heard the song I instantly thought of Chains, except extremely unique, you can definitely hear the inspiration. Also I hear a little Bon Jovi mixed in with the guitar, just the most beautiful instrumental followed by the most beautifully unique voice 😍 love Tash ahhh

So glad there is recognition for her. SO glad she exists in this day and age. It is unfortunately rare for artists nowadays to create a MASTERPIECE (and one that's longer than 3 minutes.)
Tash playing alone sounds like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin having a jam session to record a Jim Morrison songs that proved too difficult for the Doors.

I first experienced this song in a tiny little hippie shop in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, population 358-- it was playing when we entered. I sat and listened while my friend perused the shop's offerings. I forget who was even accompanying me that day-- this song absorbs all memory of that experience, and I will never forget the emotional response it evoked in me.
Trip with me till the Sun comes up. Evolution conclusion. Tash will take us to the nevermore. Onward we fly my peeps. Life isnt a game. Instead an experience. Experience vibration of the soul collective.
An underrated musician gets down and dirty on the guitar. I love Tash Sultana, her music, style, where she comes from. I remember when I first heard her. Someone recorded her and she was playing notions. I fell in love.
