Kristina is great. Earlier on in my vegan days, there were so many unfair rumors being spread about her. Now that I've matured on my journey, I see clearly that Kristina has offered some of the best resources for budding vegans and raw foodists for free. What a champion! Over the years, she has been at-work spreading the message online (and in-person via the farmer's co-op I believe she pioneered in Texas a few years ago) and sharing a possible solution to healing health issues. I have so much respect for her, especially for the recipes she shares showing how easy eating raw can be. It was so good to watch you two together, thank you so much for organising this chat and also creating your new raw vegan course! One other huge bonus about Kristina that I love, is that she isn't cosmetically (surgically) altered. No botox, nothing, just the beautiful application of makeup and a healthy lifestyle. This is not always the case in the raw vegan community, and I appreciate this about her so much. Of course she is naturally beautiful too, so I am not expecting everyone to necessarily have the same results. Either way, it's so refreshing to see a moving forehead and to know that her youthful appearance really does come from her diet rather than a knife or injection. PS: The stranger she ran into who recommended a raw foods diet was John Rose. Of course, John Rose is a bit of character, but let's not be ashamed of his quirkiness or approach to raw foods - he's a good man and has helped many. Peace and love.
She is still young , and being Lebanese has naturally good genetics with skin thickness , hair and curves , what cosmetic procedures needed in her 38 years old . She might do something when she is older
@@milanafox I don't believe that Kristina will do anything when she's older. Being a true proponent of natural health, I can't imagine she would pump her skin full of chemicals.
My thirty year old daughter went healthier last year. Stopped consuming anything with numbers on the package, makes her own foods goes to sauna regularly to aid detox and stopped using products in her hair. She said the first two weeks were difficult using no products (itchy scalp and general grossness) but the it came right; now her hair is beautiful and soft, and all dandruff which had been an ongoing issue has cleared up along with acne issues. For those interested, her hair is long, half way down her back.

Hmm I did a 30 days juice fast last year and now on day 53 of my 60 days juice fast and I have never one day passed mucoid plaque. Are you using something along with your juice? Not that I am worried about not passing plaque 😂.

Love this interview. I've been following Christina since she started on RUclips. I became vegan in Houston 26 years ago under the supervision of JOHN ROSE...who is the stranger she mentioned who saved her life. That man changed my life too and I owe him so much. So, I feel like I understand Christina's journey since it was so similar to my own...especially because we both converted to veganism in Houston, TX of all places. Hope you interview John Rose one day...he's incredible. Anyway, Thank you for this and all the other insightful interviews you bring us. Absolutely love how Kristina kept true to her calling despite getting ridiculed, shamed, and not being supported by the ones closest to her, and later inspire them to do the same. Oh wow, hearing kristinas story about her mom brings so much emotion. Its been almost 4 years since i spoke to my mother too. She calls my raw vegan/fruitarian lifestyle “bizarre eating habits”. She was a big reason for my previous disordered eating habits but she had zero issues with those. Sometimes we’re better off without certain unhealthy people in our lives, even if they are our parents. Thanks for this Gillian and Kristina xx

“To be long term, you have to take your Ego out of it”. I appreciate that She said that because I think it’s what leads most ex-raw vegans or ex-vegans in general to becoming ex___. If you have to eat salads, take some supplements and use other tools to make it happen and you’re not just picking all your fruit straight from the tree and never washing your hair, that doesn’t make you a fraud. Most people on these other diets who have something to say about raw, also take some supplements or drink caffeine or some other crutch. People get so caught up in the idea of perfection that they create a goal that’s not sustainable long term
What a wonderful interview. F.R.K. is one of my SUPER favorite people in the plant-based and wellness space. Loved this interview - wanted to hand Kristina a hair clip the entire time when she was pushing her hair back, but it kept falling forward, covering half her face again, and she kept pushing it back - of course it would not stay - LOL. I did raw vegan for 10 years and can agree it was the best ever - not only healed every little thing but got to the point where did not need deodorant, moisturizing lotion, Q-tips (no ear wax), nor toilet paper - yes, that clean (not so much these days tho) - fell off raw (but remained ethical vegan) due to back-to-back traumas and sedentary lifestyle due to job and job hunting which took away my workout time - but taking baby steps to get back on track. You ladies are so inspirational and so beautiful! Thank you for everything you do!

Would love to see you interview her "stranger" John Rose. He has done public television interviews and was polite and refrained from controversial topics. I'm sure he could accommodate the small group of snowflakes in your audience.

Point is you are correct, disassociating from these uncomfortable truths is a smart business model. Kristina never would have grown so much if she supported the hard to hear truth that Hitler was indeed the good guy during WWII. It is much more intelligent from a business perspective to pretend that the lies we are taught about WWII and Hitler are true and remain politically correct and a sell out. I can see why Gillian will probably never bring that too close which is a shame because John Rose has really done incredible work exposing not just lies about the world and politics and money, but about the lies we are taught about our true species specific diet and how all disease including cancer is earned and deserved due to your own ignorance and self destruction with your forks.

As someone who started this lifestyle in the past few years, and a practitioner of Dr Morse, I have realised exactly what Kristina is talking about regarding the ego and supplements. A true supplement really needs to be re worded to just another food, not supplement. I remember making comments about supplements on Kristina’s videos back in the day - and also on yours Gillian - and now realise that I was wrong. You’re both so awesome and I greatly appreciate this video. So thankful for our growth and ability to know when we’re wrong and to help each other grow ❤️
I was fortunate enough to find Kristina’s videos in 2015 !! And even though I was already vegan for many years before that time and had been juicing since the early 80’s , l had never heard of eating only RAW vegan. To see Kristina’s glow and her excitement to eating RAW , and that incredible bubbly personality she led me to go RAW vegan that day and it has been a rewarding journey. Oh it is beautiful to learn that Kristina is coming up with a new book soon and that when her land’s trees and bushes mature that she is going to help her surrounding communities. I am very sensitive and aware that her heart’s sweetest memories of the relationship she had and fostered with her community in Texas and I know that we can all, wherever we live can learn from her in detail how we can each grow at least some of our food ourselves as prices all across the nation are skyrocketing right now. Kristina has a background and expertise in permaculture that most of us don’t have and I would love to see her begin to teach, and if not, to hire teachers to do a local or national outreach. For those of us living in colder environments, finding resourceful ways to producing produce all year round no matter the weather or climate will be an absolute must as climate change begins to effect more of our global community. I look forward to seeing Kristina’s continued growth and development to enter into an area that I remember gave her immense joy and fulfillment in the past but in a new way here where she is living. I am struggling myself to see and understand how I may personally take on this lifestyle being 69 and being a cooked Vegan living with a SAD meat, poultry and fish eater. I love my husband so so much but long for connection with older Vegans who are attempting to live a high raw lifestyle to learn how to make this lifestyle work. I see so many very young influencers on the scene and feel that my time has come and gone. But I do do enjoy watching and hearing your interviews Jillian and all of the guests you interview. My aunt who is 98 said she's gonna live to be 115! With her healthy lifestyle I know she will! She still works in her garden everyday!

The stranger who taught Kristina everything she knows was JOHN ROSE
Kristina is great. Earlier on in my vegan days, there were so many unfair rumors being spread about her. Now that I've matured on my journey, I see clearly that Kristina has offered some of the best resources for budding vegans and raw foodists for free. What a champion! Over the years, she has been at-work spreading the message online (and in-person via the farmer's co-op I believe she pioneered in Texas a few years ago) and sharing a possible solution to healing health issues. I have so much respect for her, especially for the recipes she shares showing how easy eating raw can be. It was so good to watch you two together, thank you so much for organising this chat and also creating your new raw vegan course!
One other huge bonus about Kristina that I love, is that she isn't cosmetically (surgically) altered. No botox, nothing, just the beautiful application of makeup and a healthy lifestyle. This is not always the case in the raw vegan community, and I appreciate this about her so much. Of course she is naturally beautiful too, so I am not expecting everyone to necessarily have the same results. Either way, it's so refreshing to see a moving forehead and to know that her youthful appearance really does come from her diet rather than a knife or injection.
PS: The stranger she ran into who recommended a raw foods diet was John Rose. Of course, John Rose is a bit of character, but let's not be ashamed of his quirkiness or approach to raw foods - he's a good man and has helped many.

@@milanafox I don't believe that Kristina will do anything when she's older. Being a true proponent of natural health, I can't imagine she would pump her skin full of chemicals.
My thirty year old daughter went healthier last year. Stopped consuming anything with numbers on the package, makes her own foods goes to sauna regularly to aid detox and stopped using products in her hair. She said the first two weeks were difficult using no products (itchy scalp and general grossness) but the it came right; now her hair is beautiful and soft, and all dandruff which had been an ongoing issue has cleared up along with acne issues. For those interested, her hair is long, half way down her back.

Hmm I did a 30 days juice fast last year and now on day 53 of my 60 days juice fast and I have never one day passed mucoid plaque. Are you using something along with your juice? Not that I am worried about not passing plaque 😂.

Love this interview. I've been following Christina since she started on RUclips. I became vegan in Houston 26 years ago under the supervision of JOHN ROSE...who is the stranger she mentioned who saved her life. That man changed my life too and I owe him so much. So, I feel like I understand Christina's journey since it was so similar to my own...especially because we both converted to veganism in Houston, TX of all places. Hope you interview John Rose one day...he's incredible. Anyway, Thank you for this and all the other insightful interviews you bring us. The fact that you're traveling to meet and speak with these amazing beings is awesome but I'm sure is a lot of work for you. So, know that we notice and we appreciate your work. ❤❤❤
Absolutely love how Kristina kept true to her calling despite getting ridiculed, shamed, and not being supported by the ones closest to her, and later inspire them to do the same. That's an incredible way to inspire - live by example by following your own calling.

Oh wow, hearing kristinas story about her mom brings so much emotion. Its been almost 4 years since i spoke to my mother too. She calls my raw vegan/fruitarian lifestyle “bizarre eating habits”. She was a big reason for my previous disordered eating habits but she had zero issues with those. Sometimes we’re better off without certain unhealthy people in our lives, even if they are our parents. Thanks for this Gillian and Kristina xx

If you have to eat salads, take some supplements and use other tools to make it happen and you’re not just picking all your fruit straight from the tree and never washing your hair, that doesn’t make you a fraud.
Most people on these other diets who have something to say about raw, also take some supplements or drink caffeine or some other crutch. People get so caught up in the idea of perfection that they create a goal that’s not sustainable long term
What a wonderful interview. F.R.K. is one of my SUPER favorite people in the plant-based and wellness space. In the early years of finding people online, specifically RUclips that was doing content on health, two main people content I was consuming, Dr. Sebi's and Kristina's. She was and will ever be one of my favorite inspirations, motivators and favorite humans.

Loved this interview - wanted to hand Kristina a hair clip the entire time when she was pushing her hair back, but it kept falling forward, covering half her face again, and she kept pushing it back - of course it would not stay - LOL. I did raw vegan for 10 years and can agree it was the best ever - not only healed every little thing but got to the point where did not need deodorant, moisturizing lotion, Q-tips (no ear wax), nor toilet paper - yes, that clean (not so much these days tho) - fell off raw (but remained ethical vegan) due to back-to-back traumas and sedentary lifestyle due to job and job hunting which took away my workout time - but taking baby steps to get back on track. You ladies are so inspirational and so beautiful! Thank you for everything you do!

Point is you are correct, disassociating from these uncomfortable truths is a smart business model. Kristina never would have grown so much if she supported the hard to hear truth that Hitler was indeed the good guy during WWII. It is much more intelligent from a business perspective to pretend that the lies we are taught about WWII and Hitler are true and remain politically correct and a sell out. I can see why Gillian will probably never bring that too close which is a shame because John Rose has really done incredible work exposing not just lies about the world and politics and money, but about the lies we are taught about our true species specific diet and how all disease including cancer is earned and deserved due to your own ignorance and self destruction with your forks.

As someone who started this lifestyle in the past few years, and a practitioner of Dr Morse, I have realised exactly what Kristina is talking about regarding the ego and supplements. A true supplement really needs to be re worded to just another food, not supplement.
I remember making comments about supplements on Kristina’s videos back in the day - and also on yours Gillian - and now realise that I was wrong. You’re both so awesome and I greatly appreciate this video. So thankful for our growth and ability to know when we’re wrong and to help each other grow ❤️
I was fortunate enough to find Kristina’s videos in 2015 !! And even though I was already vegan for many years before that time and had been juicing since the early 80’s , l had never heard of eating only RAW vegan. To see Kristina’s glow and her excitement to eating RAW , and that incredible bubbly personality she led me to go RAW vegan that day and it has been a rewarding journey. Such a nice, flowing interview!! I am plant-based, but not a very healthy one actually craving & consuming sugar and lacking the exercise part. What you guys talked about eating more raw foods, keeping your body clean, having a healthy mindset & thriving for yourself is inspiring and pushes me to try harder for myself. Oh it is beautiful to learn that Kristina is coming up with a new book soon and that when her land’s trees and bushes mature that she is going to help her surrounding communities. I am very sensitive and aware that her heart’s sweetest memories of the relationship she had and fostered with her community in Texas and I know that we can all, wherever we live can learn from her in detail how we can each grow at least some of our food ourselves as prices all across the nation are skyrocketing right now. Kristina has a background and expertise in permaculture that most of us don’t have and I would love to see her begin to teach, and if not, to hire teachers to do a local or national outreach. For those of us living in colder environments, finding resourceful ways to producing produce all year round no matter the weather or climate will be an absolute must as climate change begins to effect more of our global community. I look forward to seeing Kristina’s continued growth and development to enter into an area that I remember gave her immense joy and fulfillment in the past but in a new way here where she is living.
I am struggling myself to see and understand how I may personally take on this lifestyle being 69 and being a cooked Vegan living with a SAD meat, poultry and fish eater. I love my husband so so much but long for connection with older Vegans who are attempting to live a high raw lifestyle to learn how to make this lifestyle work. I see so many very young influencers on the scene and feel that my time has come and gone. But I do do enjoy watching and hearing your interviews Jillian and all of the guests you interview. Keep growing and stretching and sharing your journey with all of us. ❤😊
Keep going, but remember whether you are vegan, or high raw or fully raw, each is still good and can be healthy, you are doing amazing!
