Immediately you open conflating democracy and capitalism. A country can be democratically socialist. Social democracy, also known as the post war compromise, built the world we know, the world neoliberalism has drained all the life out of. Socialism is the democratizing of the market, so it's immediately MORE democratic than capitalism. The corporation is a natural evolution within capitalism. In America, corporate charters were initially issued with strict time limits and only if the aim was in the public interest, like bridging the Mississippi. The way capital as gradually, but incessantly, weakened regulation on itself has led to corporations functioning as accountability shields. We thus ensure normalizing activities beyond the pale, and no lessons learned along the way. Institutionalized, repeated, and protected trauma from business to the community. And we see this reflected in our people. Corporations as the first capitalist evolution then fascism and autocracy are the inevitable end game. Inevitable. Monopoly is the natural outcome, a child can understand this. But look at the corporate structure. Rigid hierarchy. This is why "government should be run like a business" is a dog whistle to fascists and autocrats. There is nothing democratic about the corporation, it is, itself, an organization built to spread autocracy. The individual business doesn't matter when the system itself results in, not only, autocracy, but plutocracy and oligarchy. Which means the moment they feel their power slip, they'll fund fascism and work to overthrow the democratic process. Autocracy breeds autocracy You want to save America? You want to save capitalism? End the corporation. There isn't another capitalist answer, all the other answers are neo-serfdom/neo-fuedalism or socialism.
True. But no American, of either political stripe, will agree with you. Darwinian capitalism is their religion and corporations are the ordained institutions. I've lived in a socialist-based democracy for nearly 40 years. Oh I know rhis one! If its something we dont like and is against the interests of the arms industry, oil, or wall street, we call it propaganda and start screaming about russia.
If you're a Putinbot, you are an impressive one. People who dismiss Russia like you just did, as Trump does, usually have interests that are aligned with Russia.
There are much more subtle ways of engaging in propaganda. The key is finding out what ideology an audience already has (even if they don't know they have it) and use confirmation bias to conflate what they believe with what you believe. "Putin's invasion of Ukraine is wrong (what you already believe) so we must send aid to Ukraine (what they want you to believe)". That isn't to say that those things are wrong, Russia's conduct in Ukraine is probably the second closest thing to 17th century imperialism we have today, but there was no logical connection between that and the support we should send to Ukraine. It didn't tell you what "sending aid to Ukraine" looks like. This means that if someone asked you a question on a general survey, saying "do you think the federal government of the USA should send aid in the form of cluster munitions to Ukraine?" You would probably say yes, even though you may not know what cluster munitions are. This lets our government more easily justify sending military aid instead of seeking peace (in the interest of collecting debt from the Ukrainians later on).
Gonna disagree that re using "New Deal" is a great idea. Think of movies where the sequel was a disappointment. Poor ripoffs. The title of the video was misleading. You could use harsher editing. There is too much navel gazing. Every second needs to be ON POINT.

Well then, nothing to see here, eh? I don't go to Fox News, Newsmax, etc. to say it's propaganda. Feel better?
Oh I know rhis one! If its something we dont like and is against the interests of the arms industry, oil, or wall street, we call it propaganda and start screaming about russia.
If you're a Putinbot, you are an impressive one. People who dismiss Russia like you just did, as Trump does, usually have interests that are aligned with Russia.
How does that insight make anything easier for us living next to Putin.
The way they’re talking about propaganda, it sounds synonymous with evangelizing
Is it from The Atlantic?
It's propaganda.
And your suggestion? Fox News?

@@ConanDuke Thanks, comrade.

Sad what Democrats have become
Don't watch the news....
Gonna disagree that re using "New Deal" is a great idea. Think of movies where the sequel was a disappointment. Poor ripoffs.
The title of the video was misleading. You could use harsher editing. There is too much navel gazing. Every second needs to be ON POINT.

This kept coming up in my "feed" after I had hit "do not recommend channel" more than once so here's a comment: The Atlantic has sucked for a long time and is no longer relevant. You are the propaganda makers, if anyone.
I know right?!? It’s owned by an Australian billionaire. Wait, that’s Fox. My bad.
I disagree. Entirely. Their writers are well educated, informed and write well reasoned articles.
Maybe you just dislike liberal thought and democracy (small D)??
Kkkk
Stutter much?
Mmmmmm.
Is this aimed at 12 year olds? Sounds like it. Please label it as such.
It's for sharing with the trumpsters in your life, so...
This is propaganda
Maybe you could do chase your tail somewhere else while the adults in the room are having a conversation.
DEI is also about narrative at the expense of science.
What science?
To help not to manipulate. Do try and keep up Boris.

Is it where people come asking about slavery in Scandinavia and think they have discovered some big secret.
@@SusCalvin yes, it's obvious but despite that, too often people identify with propaganda, like DEI, above science. and hence why DEI is also often associated with censorship on university campuses.
Whelp, your definition of what reality TV shows run on-personal tension-explains why I am not interested. On the other hand, the tension between larger groups of people as exists, for example, between incompatible cultures when forced to share the same physical space, is more interesting.
These are very interesting times in the Untied States of America.
Indeed. Curiouser and curiouser.
Israel: "Hamas is using human shields."
Also Israel [per Haaretz] places Palestinians in Hamas tunnels dressed as IDF.
Israel: "Everything we do is because of Hamas and Hamas is the most evil force in the universe."
Me: "Perhaps you could find your guidance elsewhere."
What a sick joke
Then move along little doggie...move along.
A lot of it comes from your publication. 😂😂😂😂
Then stick with Truth Social and Fox.
The Atlantic is propaganda
Says the guy with a Tucker Carlson playlist on his channel (no, really). 😂
My respect for Carlson is lower than the dunces who visited North Korea and described it as a utopia. Those fools believed their dream but Carlson out and out tells he does not believe his own nonsense.
