- I actually kind of had Fun With The Callisto Protocols Platinum Trophy. I know this game didnt really live up to the expectations of most and I see why but it actually is not terrible! Im also super bias because I just LOVE survival horror too much haha.

Definitely the most divisive game this year, and congrats on the platinum! The last boss and the achievement for perfect dodges is what annoyed me the most.
It really is a love it or hate it type game haha

@@UFCWWE69 I liked God of War more mainly because you could do at your own difficulty of choice and with your own build. This had the same loop of stasis throw some enemies to a wall or off a cliff, then kill rest with Melee to save ammo (until you reach chapter 6, which it then changes to an awful stealth section mainly).
Using the last boss before he mutates to unlock the perfect dodge is the best way to do it

I loved this game, I didn’t have any expectations because I never played the Dead Space games before which I know Callisto Protocol is similar to but i really enjoyed it. Hope it gets a sequel.
I will admit, I absolutely loved this game from the combat and story to the graphics. There was really only 1 thing that stood out to me and hampered me replaying it as many times as I do other games and that is the lack of rewards. Most survival horror games will reward beating the game whether it's a new suit, new gun, infinite ammo or credits to spend on the next but Callisto Protocol doesn't seem to have any regardless of difficulty. A reward to use on the next playthrough imo would have gone a long way.
Call me crazy, but I had more fun playing this game on Maximum Security than normal difficulty. It took me a while to like the game and I can say I hope they make a second game.

@@ShogunTen Thi game was so easy on maximum security! The Grp is your best friend! I threw so many enemies of cliffs or into spike walls! Impossible on dead space is way harder than this!

I was in the same position with the last boss on the Max difficulty... no health, almost dead, had to basically get through without being hit and I wasn't great at the dodging.
Biggest takeaway from this video was that you got through the sewer slide on your first try
Jokes aside, the video was really entertaining! Hopefully the DLC provides more challenges to this game

Maximum security isn't too bad honestly! I found plenty of ammo and health along the way and since you can save whenever you want it's pretty forgiving.
I'd love to do deadspace I'm for sure doing the remake

You can play the whole game on easy and do all the side thing you need to do, and by the end of the game where you have to run to the escape pods, just change the difficulty to maximum and you'll get the hardest difficulty achievement

Just got the platinum few days ago found the game easier on hard when I started using the glove more. Forget the platform ride though that bit drove me mad.

this game is great the new game plus makes it more of a shooter game with the melee added in. Complete opposite of my first playthrough
I know this is late but do collectibles carry over into ng+? I’ve been watching a guide and certain collectibles are there in my game? So perhaps I picked them up in my first playthrough?

I loved this game. Not sure if it's bc I knew what to expect or bc I got it at a reasonable price but damn I enjoyed the journey. I also love trophy lists like this. Was my 180th platinum.

I am a Dead Space fan, essentially my favorite game franchise and second to star wars for me, and I genuinely liked Callisto Protocol. I just finished my second playthrough and it was as good as the previous one, sure first time was rough because the difficulty spikes caught me flat footed but I soon pushed past them. I know it has issues with performance but that's really not a big complaint for me, it is what it is, RE4 has some of the shitiest controls I've ever used but people still love and play the game.

I had a lot of fun with this game on normal for my first run. More fun, but a challenge on my second hardcore run. And I was absolutely livid when I finished the game with every trophy but the one saying I beat the game on hardcore, which I did. Amazing devs! 😊 Time to restart the game A THIRD TIME for a trophy I ALREADY earned. YAY!

How did you get the Maximum Dificulty one? I know there was an exploit, which I didn't use, and then there was a patch that might have glitched the trophy. I just finished the game on maximum difficulty legitimately and the trophy isn't triggering. I'm on PS4. It's literally the only trophy I'm missing outside of the Platinum.
I've just beaten it on maximum on Xbox S and the achievement didn't pop. Seems they bugged it after the recent patch. Annoying as it's the only achievement I'm missing.

hey does any one know how i can fix this glitch in god of war ragarnok I was just playing than my power went out and my ps4 turned off and when i loaded it back up everything was fine expect when i press continue it just brought me back to the title screen it made me really pissed because i almost got the platinum and i was 4 hours away from finshing the platinum and yes i tried deleting it and reinstalling, deleting my save, start new game and then load my save nothing worked please someone help me i spent 50 hours on that save
I got halfway through the game before realizing I missed a collectable, restarted the story, spent 5 hours getting back to where I was, saved and went to bed, woke up and loaded the game up and realized my last collectible glitched and didn't register and it completely ruined my motivation to get the platinum.

Its such a great game. If people take it for what it is, instead of comparing it to Dead Space with nostalgia goggles they will realize its a great game, the story is good

For collectables and stuff I'll use a guide. PSN Profiles is a good website
The callisto protocol does a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong. As a whole, the game is good. Definitely could have done some things better but the things it does right, it really stands out and flourishes.
It's beautiful visuals certainly help It's wrongs. Overall enjoyable game
Took me 3 playthroughs to get the platinum but I honestly had a good time doing it.

My only issues were no New Game Plus as after clearing it.

God I’m waiting for new game plus I have one achievement that’s a “collect all” one and the rest are story based
I was so hyped for this game, but the combat and constant corridor shimmying just killed it for me.
The constant shimmying dragged out game time and the combat removed all fear.
The graphics are amazing, but that was its only strong point
I have been enjoying this game so far. Sad to see it getting mixed reviews. Dead Space remake is going to be great though
