Thanks for sharing your time in Lebanon, as someone who has some lebanese friends, its great to see the country they are from and you too!
Thank you!
Good to see you and Sarah in Beirut. Have a wonderful time there!
As a kid i traveled to Lebanon with mother and siblings way back in ‘81-82 Christmas/new years ceasefire period.
Since then have traveled many times and can enter as a Lebanese.
As a kid It was surreal seeing the destruction flying in.
Wow, that must have been surreal for sure! By the way, have you seen the movie "West Beirut"?
@@hashemmcadam That is an exceptional film. A yearly watch for me.

ধন্যবাদ!
Be safe.
The country could be paradise on Earth without the influence from Iranian extremism and without the conflict between Palestinians and Isreal seeping north. Such a shame. I hope to visit some day. I had a room mate from Libanon once, he was self-identifying as an Arab Christian and had very strong views on his home country. He told me Libanese expatriots make up for one of the largest expatriate community by nationality, having been displaced by the various routes and conflicts.
Thanks, Yeah it really is a shame!
Hi, how's the internet in Beirut? I was wondering of working from Beirut for a few weeks, I am not sure if their internet is alright.
It was fine when we were there. Data sims were fairly cheap too.
I think most of us would consider you an "objective" observer of life in Lebanon, i.e. someone whose opinion we can trust. It'd be great to hear an objective overview of life in that part of the Middle East, but I know you don't want to put your family at risk.
