Phew. There you are. I know you'd said something about a lower frequency of vids, but I was starting to worry there for a moment. Love these shopping videos. They always make me insanely jealous. Gonna miss the Import Game of the Day videos, though...
Jimmy is Back! Love the simplistic art work on bomberman 2 it has to be what started the bomber man style we all know and love today. the first cart art was the oddball a little different from all the rest.
And the FC Bomberman II is a hell of a lot cheaper than the NES version. I paid $17 for a cart only FC version off Ebay over a year ago. It was one of 4 Bomberman games I got at that one time, with Super Bomberman 4 SFC, Super Bomberman 5 SFC, and Saturn Bomberman Japan version to round it off.
always cool to see new uploads! hoping to pick up on collecting famicom stuff soon as I can get the rest of my collection to the new place! already have Goonies II and the Dragonbuster games, but definitely gonna be on the lookout for more!!
I will be honest with you, the colorful famicom cartridges looks like eye candy to me it almost makes me want to crunch them like they are colorful drops you see on those cosmic brownies in stores🤤
Hey Jim, Thank you for listening to your audience about the previous video cause the chime noise kinda was a bit on the irritating side but other than that, great video overall.
I specifically pick out the ones with writing and names on them. Someone cared enough about the thing to not want it taken. Giving someone's childhood memories new life makes collecting for retro consoles even more sentimentally satisfying. I just wish I could track down the original surviving owners sometimes.
One time I was tempted to order those Famicom, Famicom Disk System and Super Famicom consoles and games along with the others on eBay but the listings for them be ending quick
Back in the day I didn't have a NES, I had a Famicom which my cousin got for me in Hong Kong. In general FC games are much cheaper than NES and the language thing isn't always a huge deal. And of course the Famicom has some games with add-on chips to boost the quality which the NES cannot use. When it comes to conversion rate I just round off to 100yen = $1 which is close enough for smaller purchases.
There are definitely some great games available for it, and it's kind of a charming little addon. Something funny about playing Zelda and Castlevania on a floppy disc, complete with load times and flipping the disc over repeatedly.
@@Robster5886 If you like. Short of that, you can e-mail me special requests but at the moment I can't say when I'd be able to get to them. Also, if you are a patron, you can make specific requests with the understanding it might take a little longer to find some of the more obscure games.
Samurai Pizza Cat! With a title like that, it's impossible it's not a great game!
Who do you call when you want some pepperoni?
It's an excellent platformer from Tecmo, well worth playing.

Didn't mean to make you worry. Been SUPER busy lately, but I want to put out content whenever I can.
Love your vids man. Thanks for fixing the “coin sound effect” issue! Now things feel more relaxing :)
Damn it Jim! I need longer videos!
Great video as always! Stay safe out there; I've read that there's another surge in Japan.
Dandy is like Gauntlet. It was popular on 8-bit home computers in the 80s.

Hey, could you also show more Japanese GameCube next time please? Would love to see that.
Thanks Jim for Akihabara tour!
It's been awhile. Welcome back.
Jim is still kicking ass!
As best I can.
Oooh! So much to choose from, so little time to enjoy them Jim. 8^)
Anthony..
Good stuff as always Jim. I checked Price Charting and US Mario 3 CIB is 3 times the cost and US Mario 2 CIB is double.
Love seeing those FDS games!

This is like visiting an art museum for me 😀😀😀
Welcome back
Man. I want few of those Famicom games. Been looking for Samurai Pizza Cat for while
It would be an interesting if you made a video about how Japan is during the Olympics while still dealing with the pandemic.
I was just thinking, "Wish there was a new KidShoryuken video to watch..." =)
Personally, it's a good thing that you only had the 1 time conversion since yen is super easy to convert, can't say the same about Vietnamese Dồng.

Besides Surigaya, what other retro store in Japan ships to the U.S.?
Always a pleasure to go to super potato even if they are a bit overpriced.
Nice video, dude.
I now want to collect Nintendo disk drive... I just have a thing for console addons.
There are definitely some great games available for it, and it's kind of a charming little addon. Something funny about playing Zelda and Castlevania on a floppy disc, complete with load times and flipping the disc over repeatedly.
@@MadPanicGaming aw dammt I for sure want that know...
Would you ever consider doing this for either N64 or PS1?
The way they treated their games there vs here is hilarious. Games here are beat to hell haha.
I have the 3 Ninja Gaiden from the American continent, but I think the Japanese versions are really cool
Time to get comfy
the games seem to be in very good condition
Damn! So nice.
Hello 👋 🖐️
I want all those DBZ games.
Japan will always be the motherland for video games
Don’t they have wonderswan games in super potato 🥔
Man those prices. 🥺 Do you still buy stuff for viewers/patrons Jim?
@@MadPanicGaming so I just have to become a patron ?

@@MadPanicGaming ah thanks for the info I guess I will contact you in the future.
I have a famicom console you can send me some stuff?
Yes, I ship games as part of my Patreon rewards. Famicom games are very easy to come by.
I'm a Japanese game collector,
but games used tobe cheap.
Inflation
Same in the US and Europe unfortunately.
Too much choice on the Famicom. I kachinged about 50x when I saw those CIB games.
So cheap!
