Well Jc let the haters be haters you my friend are one guy that does things meticulously and done well I have the same work ethics as you and I'd be proud to say I'd let you repair anything I own love your channel and never miss a video
The heads are looking good. Looking forward to seeing more on this LS engine. I like your work on this cause I know you are very thorough at what you do and this engine will be built right. I like what I see that cleanliness is key 🔑.
Love ya, love ya, love ya, as I've stated before, you're so much more thorough than I've ever been. Yes, You probably would have caught it before install. IMO, That's why you have such a loyal following. 👏 kudos to you my young friend.. If I woulda, if I coulda, you bet I shoulda well you do! Leave no stone unturned! You da man..
Don't take this wrong, but I love watching you work and how you explain your reasoning as you teach. Your character is amazing. As always you go to the "Nth" degree...
I have that same type spring compressor used it to replace seals with head still on engine just blow up cylinder with air tap on cap and tool works great to sneak in new seal .
The bottom seal u got mixed up from the exhaust and intake brother. Dont know if u caught that before installing. Much love from Maryland. ❤❤❤edit.nevernind u ended up fixing it 😂😂😂
Great job. The second one that I imagine will end up in a S-10 somewhere down the line, will that be a stock rebuild or something else? I was wondering if Justin’s experience would help with any improvements, more for reliability than high horsepower. Thanks
Dear J.C. Smith projects family. 👍👌👏 The heads look great, almost like new. You and your friends magical cleaning sauce (secret recipe) did an extremely impressive job. Kudos to both of you. 2) A lot of viewers, including me, really like to follow your great work thoroughly and I'm pretty sure that you are aware of that. Unfortunately it's very difficult for me to hear respectively understand what you are talking about if you don't wear a microphone, Sir. ESPECIALLY with all that loud background noise (big fan?). Every time you turned away from the camera, it became even a bit more difficult for me. Partswise it already was the same in the last video. So will you please consider to wear the usual microphone that your wonderful wife usually hands over? Thanks in advance. Best regards, luck and health in particular. To all 3 of you of course. Post Scriptum: How is Jeff doing?
not the case at all. i dont like being lied to. the world has come to accept the lies and deception they are fed daily. i refuse to accept. people do this because they are not help accountable for things they say or do. if they do it here in comments....they do it in every aspect of their life.
did you check out the tool i mentioned in the comments of the last video for removing and installing the keepers, i am a dumbass but i also don't big time myself, I'm just here to watch stuff being built and repaired, if i knew what was going on i would waste my time watching something i knew about
We know you can be bit picky. You checked it originally best you could. What we do know is mechanical items fail. You tore it down found failure, but cause not always right there with arrow as to what came first. You unlike some going beyond. Is your way. I know nothing of LS series. It has small ecm wich shows that driver error not probable. Old Chevy blocks with high mileage used to egg-shaped cylinder walls. Make mistake of swapping banks makes engine knoc on quick rebuild. Keep on doing it your way. We all learn. Some learn how to keep reputation with customers.
it takes a lot to actually get to me. most are just miserable people who do it to make themselves feel better......if thats what it take to get them through the day...so be it.

I'm not an expert, but I play one on the internet.
I haven't tried it but the machine shop says a 351 Ford has the same bolt pattern head and the firing order is the same as a 351 ford

About 3:30or so
No oil on stem while using a drill to spin the value or when assembling valve seals
i told peter someone would say this.....those slow rpms wont make any difference or do any harm.
I want to buy a truck from you that blows up in 3 days so you can rebuild it and I will have a like new motor 😁😆😁
i didnt sell hime this truck. it was his truck to begin with. i just offered to help him get it going as a gift.

i must have missed it.
@@j.c.smithprojects check it out, saves a lot of time messing with keepers and springs, Lisle 36050 Valve Keeper Remover and Installer Kit
i looked at it. i dont think i like smacking a valve against a hard surface if there is another way.
@@j.c.smithprojects no problem mate, just thought id share the tool
I let you build an engine any time
The bottom cylinder u got the. Wrong seal
oh dan....

Brown, blue , brown, blue, brown, blue, blue? brown? I know you fiked it but it's hard to imagine why you did not see it.
try rebuilding heads while talking to a camera and making sure t=it is in the cameras view.....it happens. only most folks would edit it out.
You probably go to the races, hoping there will be a crash
@@j.c.smithprojects If you say so
Don't know how you tolerate the haters. I mean views are views. And all comments add up in RUclips's algorithm but I would lose my cool.
