I love the pre-Raphaelite period and the French late 1800s. Thankyou for sharing this lovely visit!

People often buy rolls of paper so they can create art in different sizes and even large works of art. A roll can be more economical and more flexible in terms of customizing the sizes of you artwork. Just like canvas rolls for oil painting, a roll of printing or watercolor paper means the artist can cut the paper/canvas into the sizes needed for painting that day. A great investment. More money up front but savings in the long run.

Impressionism and expressionism. I went to the Sennelier shop in 2014 and really enjoyed wandering through it. Even back then, you had to pre-book museum tickets days or weeks ahead. I took a walking tour in Monmartre all about the historic art scene there. It was really interesting. Thanks for sharing your day in Paris.

Paris is indeed popular! I got into the museum a few days before filming, so I was blinded by my luck and never thought of booking the ticket 😂 Lesson learned. Thank you for watching ❤️

“Give me attention, cat!” The only spell that does not work no matter how poweful a wizard you are 😂 Great video! Merci! ❤ Do not feel sorry about the wait to get into the museums. That’s just how it is. Tourism has its downsides. No fail detected!

I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for this! I love the Impressionists. I did a project on Renoir in High School. I fell in love! I do love more modern (50's - 80's) illustrative advertising art also.
That gorgeous cat in the video! Looking forward to your next post x Nell.

I first went to Paris when I was an art student in the early 1990's and have been three or four times since then. Thank you for this lovely video which reminds me of some happy times wandering around Montmartre. Crazy queues for the museums though - sorry you didn't get to visit.

I can never quite place where the Moulin is tho its very odd to me
I know a bit about the Lapin Agile cause i overheard a tour guide lol, thats where a lot of dogs used to meet up and id join in with my brother as a child, they probably dont do it anymore. Apparently the name comes from "Lapin à gille" from what they said... oh it pas the guys name, cool

Ah this is very lovely and close to my heart. I also love the impressionist period and went to see all of Monets work whilst finding many other artists along the way. It is best to book your ticket in advance. But there is a Monet museum you could have gone to which didnt have such queues. It is slightly out of Paris. There is the van gogh museum in Amsterdam for a future videos 😊❤ oh monets house in Giverney..is very special
