Arnold Clark's marketing team deserve a raise - what great value to get the name out there! And for EasyJet and a cute hotel. Call me a cynic - I hope they paid you handsomely Lucy.
As an semi-introvert I can tell you, this feeling of beeing an imposter will never go away, but it will be more silent for every time you do what you are good at and what you really like. Can't wait to see more videos.
Lucy, we all felt the same as you at your age. Many of us had less skill than you, and had to learn more over time. Lovely that you brought us along for the journey. Can’t wait for the next one!❤
How you portray, record and publish your travel vlog are exactly how I wished I could see most of the travel documentaries. * No unnecessary parts, * Sharing your thoughts & feelings over trip, * Listing prices for travel & stay (extremely useful) * Peaceful music in background when idle walking or not talking, but clear background when talking. So even if you still feel hesitant or self-concious, I just wanted you to know, I love exactly how you're doing them right now, and I hope you get used-to them in future, because I certainly wish for more of them in future ^^ Wish you all the good luck and looking forward to your next travel ♥
Years ago I gave up going to Auto Shows on public days, too too crowded, even without filming. Geneva is one the best shows to go to. In Paris it is usually worth checking the Porsche stand, the company usually has something new to look at, they like their dinners in Paris.
That was lovely, Lucy. Another photogenic potter is to start at Place de la Bastille, then wander up to my favourite Parisian square, Place Des Voges, and then on to a fantastic Musee Carnavalet which is set in a mansion. There are exhibits on Parisian history, but the courtyard has a great little cafe with seating outside. And the street where it is has great non-chain shops for browsing. And (no laughing), La Defense has it's own style, and you can go up to the top of La Grande Arche de la Defense for a different high altitude view of Paris.
You are very good at all things vlog Lucy….. travel, hotel, food, gin, tourism and AC are very smart to deploy your services. Refreshingly to the point as ever.
Take all the advantage you can while you travel for work. You've made some great memories and you did an outstanding job for the other channel. Truly packed days of activities.. Can't wait to see the next adventure... 🙂
Lucy Brown likes a food? - shocked James May face! I totally understand the "working around crowds" anxiety. Sometimes you have to be a little rude and just plug along, but it is a balancing act for sure.
I think Lucy is great. On a small budget she makes great videos and she has naturally good looks. No need for makeup. No, I'm not a stalker :) I just enjoy her shows.
I dont know if you had this sense of humor before working for James May but I definitely felt him with you in spirit when people ignored you recording your videos near the cars.
Lucy! You an imposter? What a load of billhooks 😉 Since your earliest days with Drivetribe the content you have produced has been nothing short of awesome. And this short vlog on your Paris Motor Show trip has been great too! And as for talking to yourself on the Metro that is a common day sight in Paris 😂😂😂 Sitting still staring into space is more likely to lead you to trouble! 😊
From a fellow person with anxiety here is a suggestion. I travelled a lot for work in my 35 years and felt anxiety always. I learned the following, I don't really matter to anyone else around me. You are a little different as you are somewhat famous, but in reality that shouldn't change the fact that no one really cares what you are doing. Just enjoy the ride. You never know what will happen when you are really who you are in public. Enjoy your video. thanks!
Great video as always Lucy. I'm guessing you went midweek? I went on Friday 18th (from Edinburgh) and it looks quiet when you were there compared to when I was there. I'm amazed how much filming you actually managed without people getting in the way. Seeing the Espace F1 up close made the trip worthwhile for me and I'd have been happy to have just went for that opportunity. Personally I think Renault really made the show between the F1 the Alpine A290 and of course the wonderful Twingo concept (sadly I don't think the UK will get that one either). Keep making these vlogs they're amazing.
I can’t say if you are an imposter or not. I can say I have enjoyed your videos for a while. Hopefully this comes out right but your videos are inviting, not pretentious. You are obviously intelligent and have a way that just makes it comfortable to watch. You appear very genuine and human. So imposter or not, I hope you keep doing videos and continue to present them in your way, to me, very enjoyable. Thank you
Self conscious or not, You always do quite well with your videos. Always good to see what you have been working on. All the best for your future endeavours.
It’s been a whirlwind but quite enjoyable. I have been to Paris many times in January or February to the Porte de Versailles and yes the vibe is different. When the sun is out and your in the Jardin de Luxembourg it’s magical. Paris is my favourite city, sorry London you are second. At one time I lived in London and my Brother lived in Paris and we took turns visiting each other. That was the best. We hail from North Hollywood so living abroad was a great experience. Cheers Lucy.
Please keep making the range of videos you do! The mix is refreshing and you’re honest, entertaining and slightly quirky style is great fun to watch! If you’re ever back in San Diego I would be happy to recommend some great restaurants!
Was funky how it says welcome Lucy on the TV and was tha pillow your own or hotels? Great to see you back too 🎉 definitely my favourite travelshow host
Excellent video Really glad you did a BTS of your experience. Two thoughts. 1) Re: Imposter Syndrome. You've "apprenticed" with some of the best presenters in the world! You know a ton about the business and what working with the best looks like. So while you may be new to the actual presenting part, you've got all the right background. Arnold Clark certainly thinks so! Very glad you're getting this opportunity to spread your wings. 2) When you pulled that croissant out, my first thought was, "Ah, they saw the tourist coming!" But then you validated they were wonderful. Go figure! 🤣 The profiteroles looked _amazing_ though. Cheers!
I have the feeling that we will get a revival of Top Gear in the future and Lucy Brown will be one of the group. Something new, something different. But she is the new generation.
Your reticence and understated nature is quite amusing. Not lol but giggles throughout. Purple lighting in a hotel room...you are becoming a bit posh. Great vid as always. Will share but only have 83 followers 80 of which are probably bots.
Been to France and Paris many times in the 80s and 90s love the architecture its probably the best in Europe Prague is a close second go to Prague on your next trip I get what you're saying about taking to camera 😊😊
Great video Lucy! How you share your reality is entertaining and revealing--such as that trade shows are mostly annoying and exhausting, even if they are about cars
Hey Lucy, you are very good, and get better each post. However, I have no authority, I've just been watching you in your various roles since lockdown, and have been engaged more and more. Please keep producing and creating, it is great.
Check out the video we were filming at the motor show: ruclips.net/video/rjts2u97Jik/видео.htmlsi=Bj9moJCnBWcdFDhr
You're good at this Lucy! Keep it up! Don't let imposter syndrome keep you from it!
The only problem with a new Lucy Brown upload is the wait til the next one 😍
Agreed but I keep checking
Arnold Clark's marketing team deserve a raise - what great value to get the name out there! And for EasyJet and a cute hotel. Call me a cynic - I hope they paid you handsomely Lucy.
What makes your vlogs great and fun to watch is your personality and relatability. Don't ever change
You’re doing great! Such a pleasure! Thank you, Lucy Brown!

I am a huge fan of just exploring, it always opens up wonderful opportunities. I really enjoy the down to earth vide your travel videos convey.
Lucy, your vlogs are _always_ interesting!

One of your best travel videos yet! 👍
Brand new Lucy Brown video, I am so here for it.
Great stuff as always. To me and I think a lot of others is you do you and that is what is refreshing and fun. Cheers.
Lucy, you have graduated to expert in business travel. Being able to strike the balance of crazy work and enjoying your unique moments is beautiful.

Hi Lucy! Good to see you again!
Proper croissants are heaven. Absolute heaven.
I think Lucy is great. On a small budget she makes great videos and she has naturally good looks. No need for makeup. No, I'm not a stalker :) I just enjoy her shows.

Smile Lucy, you are doing great!
Very few creators rate an instant thumbs up from me, but you’re on that list! Really enjoying your work, Lucy.

Rapidly becoming one of my favorite channels. Keep it up. Great stuff
I love watching your career progress !
Nice vlog Lucy well done
Beautiful video. Well done.
More Lucy cooking vids. It's way more entertaining to watch someone fumble through a recipe than a professional chef.
CitizenM hotel rooms look so cool!
Nice soundtrack choices, very chill.
Well done on another great and very watchable video, you're growing in confidence with each video.
Lucy, you absolutely rock!!
Great video as always, Lucy 😍 keep it up!

You're so great in this video, you are a master at what you're doing! Forget James May... Just keep doing what you're doing!!! Lucy is the Max!

Agreed. It's not some ridiculous tour. If I was there I'd do the same. As most people would if they weren't trying to impress just for views
My new favourite travel show love it great show Lucy

Well done Lucy! It was nice to hear your content. There's nothing like a fresh croissant in Paris :)
I have the feeling that we will get a revival of Top Gear in the future and Lucy Brown will be one of the group. Something new, something different. But she is the new generation.
Chapeau

Great work. Even the best get imposter syndrome, the successful are the ones who just keep going in spite of that. Well done!
Another good vid/vlog... just need to get them elbows out tro get the shots you want... thanks for sharing this trip to Paris :)
That pillow in the hotel room looked like James May 😆
Great video Lucy! How you share your reality is entertaining and revealing--such as that trade shows are mostly annoying and exhausting, even if they are about cars
Great video again Lucy.
Just one question - where is your travel budy - James May 😂
Nice Video Lucy
Great vlog, keep up the good work, I used to get self-conscious filming in public for my channel, now I don't care 😅
Just watched it now great video.
Any bed bugs..........Paris has a reputation.
Hey Lucy, you are very good, and get better each post. However, I have no authority, I've just been watching you in your various roles since lockdown, and have been engaged more and more. Please keep producing and creating, it is great.
