This vlog is amazing! Such a good mix of travel, knitting, wips, finish objects, yarn shopping, clothes shopping!!!, cute couple, fab music, good food, beautiful sights, interesting information… well done!!! (Especially on casting on and choosing a pattern while in line 😂) 👏 👏 👏
I have enjoyed this vlog SO MUCH ! I don’t know why but your enthusiasm for the Eiffel Tower made me so happy. It’s wonderful with people who are not blasé. Thank you for this vlog!
Loved watching this while working on a brioche cardigan using a French yarn I bought at Lil Weasel on my trip to Paris with my partner earlier this year!! This video brought back so many good memories from our time there! 🥹
Totally enjoyed your vlog. Mr. Woozy did a great job. My last bit of yarn tourism (outside of Rhinebeck trip, which is not really tourism for me) was in Victoria, BC where I bought delightful Lamana wool/cashmere to knit an Oslo hat. Fantastic visit to the Beehive Wool Shop, which had a phenomenal range of lovely yarns and wonderful staff. We were there for my daughter to check out University of Victoria and fingers are crossed that I will have a reason to return there routinely. Beautiful shop, city, and island, all worth revisiting. Knitting on my Helia while watching. Stunning design and a delight to knit in KFO Merino and SSM.
I'm glad you enjoyed my cirty! You're prononciation of "Des Prés" wasn't... great 😂 (we don't say the last s!) BUT when you said "Ciel d'orage", perfect accent! You sounded 100% french there! Sorry there was a rude woman... I know we frenchies can be rude with strangers, that sucks, I'm sorry. Lil Weasel is a great spot! And yes, the Louvre is HUGE. I once read a statistic that said you'd have to spend a full month there to see everything if you just stopped one minute in front of each object. I love it though, it's my favorite, so many hidden treasures! If you ever go back, I'd be glad to give you some tips. This vlog was very cute and the editing and the music were perfect!
Loved seeing a little of Paris through your vlog . Beautiful knitting too! This anxiety gal does crochet and travel sketching as therapy. Works for me. ❤❤❤
Omg I feel you as an anxious girly 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 finally I found someone who feels like me 🤍 Really happy you mentioned it because you would have never guessed after viewing your vlog. Loved everything about this vid 🥰
I’m so glad ❤️ thank you! I often feel pressure to be my happy and bubbly self, but sometimes I feel anxious, and it’s okay for me to not be happy and bubbly all the time, so I thought I’d share my thoughts on that. However, Paris genuinely made me feel happy and bubbly ahaha ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely loved this vlog!! You have such a kind and goofy personality, which made me smile often while watching this. Please please make more (travel) vlogs in the future :)
I was just in Paris two weeks ago! You were definitely more productive and made it to more places than we did. We only had one evening and then the morning and afternoon of the next day, and it absolutely poured the entire second day. I bought some La Bien Aimée at Les Tricoteurs Volants that Aimée made especially for that shop! It’s a beautiful purple!
This was such a lovely video ❤ I was lucky enough to visit Paris twice this year and knitted socks both times, they’re my favourite on the go project 🧦
My last trip was to Athens. I always look for a yarn shop when travelling and buy some sock yarn. In Athens city centre there was a cluster of 3 yarn stores together, Hobby Lobby, Kangaroo yarns and another whose name I forget. Such a treat. I Always travel with a sock project on the go as well.
This video was so fun to watch! Loved the music choices. As an Aussie who lives far far away, it certainly made me want to hope on a plane and travel to Paris.
Loooooooved this vlog, it is just such a cosy feeling to watch it while knitting - i am doing my first non-raglan sweater, the sweater no 18 by my favourite things knitwear in a bright orange mix of alpaca and silk mohair, and i'm so excited to finish it !!
This is the best knitting vlog I ever watched! In fact I am going to watch it again immediately. I totally get you in terms of being responsible child and then anxious adult. There was a time for me when I had to learn to live my life fully and in fact I am still learning this. But girl you have done a great job with this trip for sure! You can think of going to Bergen - I was there this summer and the city is lovely with so many yarn shops - I got my knitting mojo back there and generally it was the best trip in my life. You can also rent a car and make road trips to see fjords, waterfalls and mountains. And book a fjord cruise. This place is totally magical ❤️
Absolutely lovely Vlog Celine. I enjoyed the tour along with you in Paris. Ooh, that yarn and fabric shop...you were very restrained 😇Well done on being adventurous, it is a challenge when we feel a bit wobbly, but you did it! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for a wonderful and super cosy vlog 🌸🫶 I love the way you have edited the video and you radiant such confidence in front of the camera ✨
What a joy to watch you see Paris and knit while there! Been there 3 times myself and love to knit ...double pleasure! Are u planning any other trips? I'm going to travel solo to Scotland for a knitting tour next fall at 70 years old! You inspired me that all will be ok.
Thank you!!! I don’t have anything planned yet, but definitely do intend to go somewhere next year 🥰 you’re going to have the BEST time on your solo trip, it’s going to be so so fun ❤️
Paros is truly a beautiful city, I visited it with 2 friends over new years this year! The yarn you bought looks amazing and the pink colour of the cardigan is so pretty !! I just came back from Riga, Latvia. Incredible city with an amazing architecture. While I was there, I bought 6 skeins of fingering 100% wool in a beautiful dark forest green, that I‘m knitting a sweater with.
This was fun! Thank you Celine! I am a knitter in Massachusetts. I am currently knitting the Wednesday Sweater by Petite Knit using Drops flora held with Drops brush alpaca and yarn from Temu in the color black.
This was such a fun vlog and the music was just so great too. He did great filming and you were just a terrific host. I completely get being a homebody and also having anxiety. This was wonderful. I'm working on Framed, Agnete cardigan and a test knit. Take good care, Kimberly
You should be an Edinburgh knitter!! I loved your video! recently went to Paris myself and visited Lil Weasel, among other yarn stores so I related so much with you
Such a fun Vlog. So glad my recent Paris searches suggested you!! I had planned to knit in the Louvre when we travel to Paris soon - but you’ve inspired me to knit everywhere!! ❤
Lovely vlog, Celine! I've been to Paris many times but I am a new knitter so I haven't explored the yarn stores there yet - I shall look forward to visiting Lil Weasel next time I go. Just recently visited Copenhagen for the first time and OMG, LOVED it! Plus, the yarn stores are next level! Lets just say my next few projects are covered! Ha! :)
Thanks for the comment 😍 you’ll really enjoy Paris as a knitter! And yesss I want to go to copenhagen so baaad! So nice to hear you had the best time ✨
I am so enjoying your podcasts that I stumbled upon a few days ago. Lovely content and love seeing everything you have knitted and works in progress. While watching you I casted on “Ginnel” by Flossi for a Christmas gift and it’s a free pattern on Ravelry. Happy knitting 🧶 Kathy from Massachusetts ❤
Love your happy, bouncy video 😎. I’m knitting the Freestyle sweater by Paula Strikt in Lamana Como in Aubergine. My 1st time knitting with Lamana yarn 🤞. Love the colour. Happy knitting 😀
This video was fun loved it, and yeah responsibility over dose ends up with anxiety, I have the same …. But you made laugh so many times this evening and you showed how much I miss Paris Thank you for the perfect cinematic footage and the very good, funny and happy vibes you bring to us. ❤❤
Loved this vlog!! Also an anxious person but traveling a lot the past summer had made me realize a bit more that I can handle things and will be fine even when im anxious😊. For travel recommendations I’d go to Vienna! Was there laat new years and it was amazing. Cute yarn stores and I’d suggest getting a 5 day ticket for the public transport as it was so cheap but very useful
First time I watch a video by you, really enjoyed it 😊 I’m anxious too but went to Amsterdam anyway last Friday and rewarded myself by visiting the Stephen and Penelope yarn shop, very happy I did, and would definitely recommend visiting Amsterdam!
This was such a lovely vlog Céline! Love that you loved Paris. You should totally go to Copenhagen next time, it’s a dreamy place for knitters and it’s also a very easy city to navigate as it’s not too big and they have great public transport so hopefully that helps with your travel anxiety ❤
Thank you lovely 🥹🥰 I know I would looovee Copenhagen, and that’s so nice to hear you saying it’s an easy city, thank youuuu I must make it happen next year ❤️
Enjoying the video’s so much! I’m on a scarf kick. I’ve made a Sophie Scarf and a Grab & Go Scarf and now I’m casting on an Alex Scarf. It’s all for comparison purposes of course! 🧶
thank you for sharing your experience, what a joy! Would love to know more about your approach to swatching :-) I do make them, but only to get a feel for the fabric because my swatches always lie to me. It doesn't seem to matter how big I make them, or whether I block them or not - the actual WIP is always different!! I tried making large swatches, blocking, taking multiple measurements, and then averaging the measurements. Talk about killing the knitting joy! But after all that due (or undue) diligence, the swatches still lied. I do check gauge while I'm knitting, and find that it's generally accurate. Also now I must knit a pink cardigan😁
So glad to hear you enjoyed ❤️ I’ve had that happen to me too a few times! Is it perhaps because the swatch is knit flat and the project is knit in the round? My purling is looser than my knitting, so it 100% affects my swatch. In an instance like my bubblegum cardigan, I was swatching to get a rough idea of my gauge, and since I wasn’t following a pattern to a T, I didn’t mind getting it perfect. If your swatches keep on lying, maybe its just quicker knitting a bit of the actual project and then measuring gauge as soon as you can, so that if it’s off, you only have to unravel a little. I must say gauge swatching is an art in itself! Good luck 🍀
@@woozybyceline thank you! I think there is something about my tension on a swatch vs a full-size project. I can trust my swatches for socks, for example, since the swatch is closer to the actual project size.
I went to Paris in the summer for the Olympics and also visited Lil Weasel. I bought some Fonty Moustache yarn and in fact I have just cast on today the Moon Set Tee by Ozetta with it.
It was interesting video as I live here but I moved here so long time ago that I already forgot that feeing of happines and exitment it gave me back then. Thank you for reminding me those feelings! And yes, maybe I should revisit Lil Weasel, I havent been for a while... Btw not far from there there was another quite unique shop called La Droguerie - you may want to check next time 🙂
This was a wonderful vlog, superbly edited - a truly wonderful watch! Fellow anxious girlie over here, much anxiety around travel too especially since having children 😅
It's so funny....I saw the thumbnail and I thought "ah great, I haven't seen a lot of Parisian knitters podcasts" (I am French), then the first pictures roll and I see you pink knit and I am like "ok she's atypcial as a Parisian girl" (which was good too!)and then tada! You're not French😂 what a rollercoaster! But I loved your vlog and your pink sample :)
Hello Celine, the first thing I noticed was the great Choice of music ☺️ I would recommend you to visit Istanbul especially for yarn and also for touristing ✌🏻❤️🧶
Great vlog! Paris is always so charming ❤️❤️ this reminded me of my own trip to Paris last year... Sadly the ancient Egypt section was closed the day we were in the museum😭 I suggest visiting Prague, if you're interested in another beautiful romantic place(Prague is beautiful all year long, though now in fall is even more magical). Lastly I'm working on a hat from a pattern I found in a small shop on my trip to York. 🍂🍁
Oh I love Paris! Where is the jacket you are wearing in the first few clips from? It is so beautiful. Just cast off the Jaska-Beanie for my BF and now starting a Sevilla Blouse, but with merino/suri yarn-combi. the first time I am calculating everything new cause my gauge is wayyyyy off. I am excited for the challenge. Plus I just ordered a sweater quantity of the october-special of the german hand-dyed-yarn-company Mondschaf to knit a Zipper sweater light out of it. I will keep the Ribbing all around black and knit the body in the heavily variegated yarn that has mostly black and orange with white and pink/purple specks. It will be an awesome halloween/fall jumper. Yeiiii
this is such a lovely vlog ! my friend was just in paris a couple months ago; i sent her to lil weasel to pick up some yarn for me (just randomly from a google maps search) and i had no idea it was such a popular spot ! although fair warning - she did say that there were a lot of adult toy shops right around it LMAO i had no idea 🤣
J’adore Paris! I’ve only been once but didn’t want to leave because it is just magical 🧡 When I was younger, I never had anxiety traveling, I loved it! Now as an adult and mom, I do stress about it, especially as I think about traveling with my teenager who has high anxiety. I get anxiety thinking about her anxiety…is that weird? While watching your adorable vlog, I cast on and worked a 2x2 ribbing for a cowl I’m designing for Christmas. Now I’m off to follow you on the gram!
Loved this vlog. There is an amazing Egyptian museum in Turin Italy. Turin is a fantastic city to visit , so many amazing things to see I HIGHLY recommend it. I live in France and love Paris, didn’t. Know about lil Weasel.
Thank you ❤️ I’ve been to the Egyptian museum in Turin with school when I was younger! It’s so close to my home city so should definitely go again as an adult ✨
Love this video so much! Thank you! ❤ BTW my last trip was to Hamburg. I love cities near water as I am originally from the Adriatic coast. Can highly recommend Hamburg for a city trip in summer.
Great Vlog! If your anxiety about Travel is still quite high, maybe travel to easily reachable places like Amsterdam, Edinburgh or Brussels next. Something that’s just one train journey away from London. Then build it up from there and come to Berlin, we have great yarn shops over here ;)
What a fun vlog! Made me really want to go back to Paris ☺️ Also love how brave you are to film in public ❤ Can Mr. Woozy come give Mr. Cheek some girlfriend who knits on RUclips filming advice 😂
Lovely video! My last trip was to Dublin where I got the prettiest sage green yak/silk blend from This Is Knit......still trying to decide on the perfect pattern though....
@woozybyceline if you ever find yourself in Dublin I REALLY recommend This Is Knit, it's a little yarn shop in a converted Georgian house and it's so lovely
I totally feel the anxiety thing. Especially with traveling. I’ve never left the US or travelled much in the US, but hopefully one day I will! Beautiful vlog! Also, have you any updates on that big mohair cardigan? I keep thinking about it 🤣
Hii! I did, just that one in the video, I loved it! The items are gorgeous, the store is wonderfully curated, sales assistants were really nice, and I just wanted everything 😂 i really want to visit the one in London!

Yeiiii
That jacket is also from Sézane :) the zipper sweater sounds so so fun!!!
Loved this vídeo ❤❤❤
Thank youu!! 💕
this is such a lovely vlog ! my friend was just in paris a couple months ago; i sent her to lil weasel to pick up some yarn for me (just randomly from a google maps search) and i had no idea it was such a popular spot ! although fair warning - she did say that there were a lot of adult toy shops right around it LMAO i had no idea 🤣
Thank youu ❤️ Lil Weasel is soo cutee, and it’s in such a cute gallery! Ah yess, I remember seeing those too 😂
Wonderful wonderful vlog thank you so much
So glad you enjoyed it, thank you 🥰
J’adore Paris!
Aw bless you ❤️ my mum is the same with me, it’s probably a symptom of being a mum 🥰 thanks you so much for watching lovelyyy

BTW my last trip was to Hamburg. I love cities near water as I am originally from the Adriatic coast. Can highly recommend Hamburg for a city trip in summer.
Thank you! ❤️ will put it on my list 😍
What an amazing vlog 😍
Thanks so much for watching 🥹❤️
Great Vlog! If your anxiety about Travel is still quite high, maybe travel to easily reachable places like Amsterdam, Edinburgh or Brussels next. Something that’s just one train journey away from London. Then build it up from there and come to Berlin, we have great yarn shops over here ;)
Definitely a good technique, thank you! I’ve been to Berlin but must go back because I wasn’t knitting at that time, so I missed all the yarn shops!
I’m a new subscriber. I just found your channel a few days ago & this vlog is beautiful! ❤🧶🥐🇫🇷
Yaaayy welcome ❤️❤️ thanks for watching ✨🥹
I love Paris, and so I really enjoyed your video. You should go to Barcelona next or Amsterdam!
Thank you ❤️ definitely! both are high up on my travel list 😍😍
What a fun vlog! Made me really want to go back to Paris ☺️
Also love how brave you are to film in public ❤
Can Mr. Woozy come give Mr. Cheek some girlfriend who knits on RUclips filming advice 😂
Thank you lovelyy 🥰 I decided not to worry about people looking at me filming in public, and let me tell you - having one less worry is so nice 😂🥰
Lovely video! My last trip was to Dublin where I got the prettiest sage green yak/silk blend from This Is Knit......still trying to decide on the perfect pattern though....
The yak/silk blend sounds AMAZING! Really want to go to Dublin too 🤗
@woozybyceline if you ever find yourself in Dublin I REALLY recommend This Is Knit, it's a little yarn shop in a converted Georgian house and it's so lovely
Where is the first blue/white jacket from? ❤
Fun episode!!!
I must have that blue jacket!! What size did you get??
Thank you! I got the size 38 :)
Lovely vlog, I shared your excitement. You should come to Vienna one day :)
Thank you ❤️❤️ I’ve heard such good things about Vienna!
I totally feel the anxiety thing. Especially with traveling. I’ve never left the US or travelled much in the US, but hopefully one day I will! Beautiful vlog!
Also, have you any updates on that big mohair cardigan? I keep thinking about it 🤣
Thank you darling ❤️ it’s about the little steps! I will be writing the pattern for the big mohair cardigan next month 🥰😍
