Celine you are by far my favourite knitting RUclipsr i have ever found on Yt! Finding Your channel felt like finding something super precious that is about to blow up at some point :D Watching your videos makes me feel like having a knitting friend, because i am literally the only girl i know that is knitting in her 20s. Heard you talking about iron deficiency btw- i have the same and no pills helped me as much as an iron infusion. Here in Germany you have to pay ~25€ and it goes directly into the blood in much higher doses. No advertisement, just personal good experience that has helped me very much. Love from Munich!
oh my goodness this is too sweet, I don't know what to say, thank youuuu so much for watching, making videos makes me so happy, and receiving comments like yours is honestly the best feeling 💕 Iron infusion sounds like just what I need!!!
I was watching this at 1:30 am, when I couldn't sleep, and promptly ordered a shakti mat for myself :-) With a neck pillow and the ring, of course!! I really enjoyed tagging along on your adventures.
I really appreciate you talking about your pain experiences. It seems as though every young knitter like me can go for hours on end without stopping, without any pain. I will have to try the mat and cream! Thank you for sharing❤
Yes! It seems like so many knitters don't get any pain, and I'm here existing with pain in so many places ahah I guess it's just not the most fun thing to talk about, but I've been having a lovely time using the mat to help with this! Let me know your thoughts if you end up getting it!
Hi Celine, I just found your podcast and am loving them! I am off to Oxford myself next weekend so now I need to visit that store!! I am off now to enjoy your previous videos 😊xx
I am making a reglan sweater, top down with beautiful ISAGER Aran Tweed: confetti + ISAGER Silk Mohair: no.2. I think I will have some leftovers to make a matching Baggy Hat by Petiteknit 🤔🤞
"yarn I shouldn't have bought" sounds like "souvenir" ;) And those chicken coasters are incredibly cute! I made very similar ones for Easter this year and I still use them
Lily Kate makes has a tee pattern that uses sock yarn and has a section she uses a special skein… maybe that’s a way to use your sock yarns too! Thanks for sharing your exploration day 🎉
Love the yarns you got. And your trip made me miss Oxford so much. The podcaster Truelane knits on both socks at the same time so there is no ‘2nd sock syndrom’ 😄 just a tip
A solo mini-trip is one of my great pleasures! My next one will be an overnight to London (Chelsea Physic Garden and a first visit to Beautiful Knitters are on my must do list). I've just cast on Andrea Mowry's Weekender Crew.
Great video, love the yarn choices so much, exactly the ones that have been on my mind recently 😂😍 Knitting the champagne cardigan, and would do swimming, or beach volleyball ❤
Awww looooved this episode and your solo travel. I'm currently knitting musselbrough hats 2 in beautiful hand dyed 4ply yarn and also DK sock from the same local dyer to me. Will have 4 musselbrough hat by the end of summer as love making them. I like to knit mittens and jumpers and baby items aswell. Love Di in the UK. Xxxx your ciaste are cute. I've crocheted some similar ❤
A solo trip is definitely a good idea , at the moment I’m crocheting a floor length mesh crochet kimono cover up. Btw I love your videos keep them coming , ❤
I was at Covered Market last year and had no idea there was a wool shop there! 🤣 My husband just wanted Ben’s Cookies. Maybe I can go on this year’s trip (maybe by myself on the train). Also, I have the same Shakti mat set and it’s also great for piriformis syndrome in the hips and lower back, which people tend to get from doing office work (and knitting for long periods).
Loved this video!! I have just moved close to Oxford, 4 stops away on the train, I had a by myself trip recently, it was so very hot and I missed most of what I saw on your video!! Need to go back soon!! Of course I headed for Oxford Yarn Shop, I bought Isager Trio 2 in strawberry, going to double up and knit the love note tank Olympics… I would be a swimmer too old for the 100 metres at 62 😂 xxxxx
My greatest tip for second sock syndrome is to do two at the same time on different needles!! You work one cuff, then the other, one leg, then the other leg and so on and then all of a sudden you have TWO whole ass socks 🤯
This is what I was going to suggest as well. I’m currently knitting two different sock patterns this way. I tried knitting one whole sock and then the other after. Hated it. Do my socks two at a time always now.
Iron (and B12) deficient girly here! Always have been 🙄 Regular B12 injections and taking Ferrograd Folic keep me on form now. I had to beg for the B12 but it’s made SUCH a difference!
Such a lovely podcast, Céline! I too suffer from getting tired and passing out (but from blood pressure problems!), dizzy girls unite 😅 Any tips for traveling and wandering around doing lots of walking when you're a dizzy girl? Your podcast is always so lovely and I adore the festival dress you're making (it's on my list too!)! 💛
Thank you for watching lovellyyy 💕 I was really strict about drinking water on that day, I had frequent snacks and took many small sitting breaks. When I get the chance and am not around a lot of people I sit somewhere and take my shoes off for a bit, that helps my circulation! But overall, not having anyone waiting around for me made it so easy to do as much/as little as I wanted without feeling any pressure. ❣
Ah I love Oxford. Only been twice but stayed a couple days to explore. The Woolhound had yarn from "Adventures in Yarncraft" who became one of my all time fave dyers after I found her yarn there 😂 I wanted to buy so much there though!! I think you did well, you didn't buy that much at all
It's so weird to say this about a mat of spikes but after a few weeks of use I now feel the urge of spending some time on it before bed. I have also started dozing off while I'm on it, which wouldn't happen to me in the beginning. It really relaxes me and puts me in the best mindset for sleep 😍
for your second sock syndrome you should team up with someone else who hates knitting the second sock as well and knit one sock from your pattern and one from theirs and then swap 🤷🏼♀️ might work!
Wow, found your vlog tonight and already watched three videos. Got surprised when I heard Luiz Murá at 4:18. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷

I love this video (as always), and it’s so nice that you went on a lil trip by yourself for yourself - love that😍
Aw thank youu
It would be great if you met up with handmade with Florence, another knitting podcaster
Love her videos!

The tweed is probably a great way to integrate more colour in your work, how fun! 💕
I can't wait to use ittt!!

@@woozybyceline we went today and oh my goodness! So amazing 🤩 Thank you for the recommendation! X

So excited about the make it tweed! While watching I actually worked on a Busan Sweater where I also hold the make it tweed next to my main yarn!! ❤
I am so excited too!! No wayyy, are you loving it?
Happy accident finding your podcast!!! I look forward to going back through past posts!!
Aw thank you so much

Yes you're right, definitely a souvenir 🙊

Thanks for the tip! Integrating my sock yarns into bigger garments would help so much!
Looove the video, so cute - will definitely be taking a solo trip soon 🥰

Dreammyyy 😍😍
The spiky mat is the best thing I ever got. ❤
After using it for a few weeks now, I literally refuse to go to bed without being on it for at least a little bit!!
Oxford is a lovely city. Next time I am in the UK I would love to go yarn shopping there.🧶
Highlyyyy recommend!!
That was fun! New subscriber here... I don't know why I've never come across your podcast before!
Aw yayyy welcomeee 🤗

Hiiii! Oomggg thanks for the tipsss 😍
Literally had the same convo with my friend the other day! I'd wanna do beach volleyball as my Olympic sport of choice :)
Great pick!!
… also the frist yarn you tock up! Souberbool! I have in my stass
I’m making some wooly mittens right now! The yarn is also a little bit rough, so I thought mittens would be better than a hat for me. 😊 Lovely video!
Thank you for watching 💕 yess mittens are definitely better for a rougher yarn!
I love youre film ❤ I’m knitting Sabai top and Klara sweater ❤
Thank youu 💕
yesss for the low iron girlies!!!! also, I loved the brazilian music so so cuteeee
Hiii!! I love Bossa nova, it's one of my favourite genres! A cardigan in the Mondim sounds actually amazing 😍thank youu

Åhhw I also have this make it tweed yarn 🇩🇰 and yesss!! Now I have ben ind a yarn shop this week!, 😂to👍🏻🫶🏻✨
Add make it tweed with Scheepjes Whirl and knit a plain Stephen West shawl or any shawl of your choice till the ball of Whirl runs out.
I knew there was a yarn store there and I live in NY. Florence mentions it often on her podcast. You should check her out. She’s great.
I love Florence’s videos!
I am on my 10th? Attempt at a cabled cardi I’m designing while watching this, and honestly feeling my fingers! - fellow iron defficient girlie
You’ll get there!! Designing cables is hard! You go queen, you’ll be so proud when you’ll get it 🥹😍❤️
@@woozybyceline I got it! Thank you 🫶
On my needles are agave t ❤ and my hooc happy world dress ❤
what colorway is the Mondim? Have you used it yet and can share a swatch pix?

I’m also making the festival dress but the stripe stitches kill my hands 😢
I know! That knit 3 tbl is horrible! But I try to knit the first stripe round as relaxed as I can so that the second round is a bit easier!
for your second sock syndrome you should team up with someone else who hates knitting the second sock as well and knit one sock from your pattern and one from theirs and then swap 🤷🏼♀️ might work!
That is SUCHHHH a good idea!!
Why dont you try the technique that lets you knit both socks at the same time ?
I need to give this a go for sure!!!
