I’m really enjoying your podcast today! Have you ever considered doing a color work such as a cowl and/or hat in differing shades of the same color? All those gorgeous purples makes me think it could be an awesome project!

I was a thrower at the beginning, but I was so jealous of how fast people could knit, and I wanted that, so I also taught myself the faster way of knitting.

Oh my I just stumbled upon your channel and instantly subscribed. I went to Italy for the first time in March. My husband and I visited Palermo. I fell in love instantly. Italy has been a huge bucket list travel destination since I was 18 (18 years ago!). Your podcast is as lovely as you are🖤

I have to laugh because watching your stash is amazing for the reason how different we all are. Everything but the wool you mentioned you would wear in a universe is more something I'd wear and all the other colours. I would never even pick those up. It's fascinating how different people can be. But all the things you make I love, so we have that in common. 😊 😂
after watching more some colour started coming that I like

So nice to find you on here. Beautiful Knitters is my favourite yarn shop In the World!! I travel a lot. Karin and you were both very helpful to me when I visited last year, increasing my stash of gorgeous European yarns (that i was unable to knit with because I had torn a ligament off my thumb). I returned to NZ with my many purchases. Finally got my urgent surgery 9 months too late (our health system has crumbled), and will have a compromised hand for life as a result of the delays (yes, I do have private health insurance but the delays are just as bad as the public system). But, I'm pleased to say that knitting has hugely helped my recovery and fine motor skills. I have knitted up several garments since my surgery in January, including using yarn from BK. I have yet to knit the Barbroe blouse using your yarn recommendation when we met, but I'm looking forward to it. See you when I return to London in October! And if you know of any great yarn stores in Madrid or Stockholm, please let me know. Also, if Karin would like to share her tips on how to achieve perfect tension, I'd be forever grateful. Her knitting tension is incredible! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and positive energy. I love your videos. :)

Drops mohair is itchy on me too, as are most mohair, except for kid silk haze by Rowan. I don’t know it it’s still made but you can find it second hand. It’s lovely. Kutovakika has a stripe hype sweater you could make with some of your stash. And RUclipsr Finnish knitting stories knitted a lemme sweater combining lots of sock yarns which I’m going to do at some point. It’s gorgeous. Thanks for sharing ❤

I recently went through my yarn stash and donated a trash bad full of leftovers and full skeins I was never gonna get to because I bought them before I knew as much about my yarn tastes. I actually logged EVERYTHING in my stash on Ravelry, which is a big job, but also a fun job, and really helps me to know what I already have when I’m out and about buying yarn.
Last week, I finally used the oldest yarn in my stash: black “Lindy Chain” a linen/cotton chainette that I knit into a cropped short sleeve Rununculus. I bought that yarn in 2016!!! Now, the oldest yarn in my stash is some souvenir local undyed yarn I picked up in Wales in 2018. I actually DID use two skeins of it in a shawl design, but I have one remaining skein that I have no idea what to do with (and it’s too sentimental to donate).

What about with those cashmere yarns, of course if you have enough, you could make cropped blouse with body out of the thicker yarn and collar and some ruffles out of suri? It could be so nice to wear on gloomy late autumn days to brighten your day.

I love your podcasts, Celine! I'm also feeling overwhelmed by my current stash and will probably be going through it in January. I'm currently working up a Cumulus Tee in KFO pure silk, plum rose, the Sailor Swift Top in KFO cotton merino blueberry ice cream and Japanese anemone, the Step by Step Cardigan in Noro Haunui Cotton, a Leaf Top in Noro Kakigori, my first self-drafted pattern in Cascade Eco Wool, a self-drafted crochet tank in Drops DK cotton light....and I'm honestly not sure what else 😅

Had a lot of fun watching your Video. My stash is quite enormous as I am knitting since my teenage years in the eighties. My oldest yarn in stash is from back then, a bright orange pure Merino fingering. 😂
Once in while I sort out yarns I don‘t really like any more and either give them to friends or colleagues who also knit or donate them to a Kindergarten or school for projects.

I'm still working on a drop shoulder cardi, using my stash yarn. I have a lot of random yarns from my grandma left, without labels, but they are quietly waiting for their turn. For now, I'm finishing a cardigan and starting a cable sweater in Drops Alaska, which I got as a gift. You've given me some interesting ideas on how to use up my yarn, maybe I'll try to make some first socks.

For those two beautiful hand dyed skeins at the beginning, the Cognac Sweater by @atelier_castin only takes two skeins of yarn (it does call to hold them with a strand of mohair, but you’ve got plenty so it could work!)
