As a crocheter, I passed by this video numerous times without clicking because it said knit. I'm so glad I finally clicked on it. Your projects are gorgeous! 😍
Really nice pieces!! Would you consider doing a Video where you show your favorite yarns, maybe in categories like chunky, mohair, Fine, worsted yarn, with Alpaca, with Merino etc. This would be so helpful!!🫶🏼💖
Thank you! I would love to make a video like this. A few people have asked for a video about different yarn types and how to choose the best ones for specific projects. I'll definitely be making it at some point!
Your dad's reaction to his sweater is adorable, so lovely that you get to gift all your family with these, they're gorgeous. I think I'll start on the thin scarves for my mom, she's always saying she needs to cover her neck, those are perfect for her
Your dad's reaction is the best, and you're a wonderful person to gift-knit such beautiful items. Love the greens in your wardrobe. Also love that you shared knit and crochet items, as I do both also and wish there were more patterns out there that incorporate both..
My dad's reaction is my favourite video ever! 🥺Thank you so much 💕Yesss, so refreshing finding a hybrid crochet and knitting pattern, they are so rare!
Just a tip about super wash wool, since you mentioned your pieces growing so much. Super wash is typically meant to be machine washed, and often even tumble dried. The agitation from the washing machine helps the yarn keep its shape and not grow like crazy. I’m not sure if you did this and still experienced issues with your pieces, or if you were handwashing and air drying to block your pieces. When in doubt follow the washing instructions that come on the yarn label, but if your piece has grown out of hand, you might be able to rewash it and throw it in the dryer to get back in shape 😊
I loved this! I would love a video on fiber and yarn! How to pick the right yarn for certain projects, how to know when to double up, which fibers to do so with, etc!
Hii from Sweden! I love your color choices for all your garments, they look so beautiful, and you’re so talented!✨ your Ilana camisole is gorgeous 🌱 I will soon start my own and now seeing yours I’m even more excited to make it 🫶
Hii! Thank you so much for your lovely comment, I really appreciate it! You will love making Ilana, it's so much fuunn Would love to see a photo once you're done ❣
You are a beautiful knitter, each garment is a work of art! The information that you share for each of your knitted pieces is very helpful. Thank you for an inspiring podcast.
Congratulations on your first video and wonderful FOs! I look forward to watching your nexts. My only concern was that I didn't always grasp the name of the designers, but this was solved by the list that you kindly put at the description. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work and tips. PS Your dad and nephew are adorable.
I literally just found your podcasts today when the ranking Petite Knit patterns one appeared, love your lavender colour smoke sweater - stunning! So i am working my way through your other video's now. Absolutely love love love your cardigan - that mix of crochet and knit is perfectly beautiful and so different. Thankyou for introducing so many designers I have not come across and providing such inspiration. I also crochet and it was really good to see some gorgeous designs 😊
Hi lovely, thank you so so much for your comment, it made my day ❤️ I’m really glad you found some knitting inspo! And thank you for watching the other videos too ✨
I am so glad that I clicked on this. I am a crocheter and a new knitter building myself confidence in knitting I am going to knit my second garment. Trying to figure out what to knit next
Clicked on the thumbnail because it was so pretty and then realize I follow you on IG! I’ve loved seeing your posts on there/beautiful knitters so I’m excited to see your projects more in depth. I crochet and have just picked up knitting within the last few months
Glad I found you!!! I love knitting and crocheting podcasts, as I do both. Going to subscribe ... thanks for sharing your talent and beautiful, beautiful garments.
Hii l’m a baby knitter I've just started around December an finished my first ever sweater and omg this video is honestly so inspiring i truly wish to be able to make such beautiful garments like you in the future ! Thank you for sharing your pieces can't wait to watch more of your podcasts
How exciting! Learning to knit is the most fun! You are so sweet, thank you! Just keep going and you'll be able to make your dream knits sooner than you think, enjoyyy 💕💕
Wow you knit a lot. I thought I did😂😂😂 Couple of things I want to try. You should "roll" your knitted pieces to avoid lines. All of my knitted pieces are stored rolled. The mohair pieces are my fave - I have ME & overheat very easily so light layers are my faves. No shawls ? I use these a lot. Thanks for sharing❤
Hello from Wisconsin! Thanks for sharing your projects! I love the cami in dusty artichoke! I've got some pure silk in poppy blue and have been hunting for the perfect cami pattern. I think that might be the one! Happy knitting
I'm liking the sweater you designed - esp the funnel neck aspect of it. Hard to find funnel necks outside of drop shoulders (which I despise). Following!
Hello from Denmark, I love your podcast and your choice of colors. My favorite knit last year was also the Ingrid sweater, and I show it on my latest podcast, but it's in Danish so you probably don't understand much😂
I have never heard of second sock syndrome! I think I have the opposite problem, sock number one will take me a week, two, a whole month, because I get nervous trying new techniques, but then as soon as I know what's going on, sock two is like 2-3 days max
Ok I need someone to make a full knit pattern for the Je ne sais quois cardigan, otherwise I'll have to learn crochet (I've tried but i just can't do it). It's too beautiful!
Hey Celine, what gorgeous pieces!!! I adore that blouse no 1 and it’s beautiful in that ice blue color! I want to make one just like that - what size did you make?
Hello Céline ! I just discovered you with this video (you make a real beautiful work). I’m a crocheter and I need to try knitting with circular needles. Do you, or anyone in the comment that might help me, have some advices where I can learn crochet lay be on RUclips or in books (and which books please) ? I have no one around me who can teach me how to knit and for now I can’t really find a complete tutorial on RUclips or creator that can help me. Thanks everyone ❤
Thank you so much for watching. I think the Sheep & Stitch RUclips channel is great. Here are some techniques I think you should learn from their videos: - Cast on - Cast off/bind off - Knit Stitch - Purl Stitch - M1R and M1L - How to knit in the round Hope this helps x
hi, may i ask how much wool you used for your je ne sais quois cardigan? i love the way it looks on you and would like to use the same yarn! 🥰 (i love your videos by the way 💕)
Thank you lovely, I used just under 5 skeins of Drops Soft Tweed for the body and cuffs (225g, around 600 metres), and 6 skeins of Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (held double) for the sleeves (150g, around 840 meters).
Really like your color choices! Do you set a budget for your projects / do you have a yarn stash or do you only buy yarn for specific projects? I am new to crochet and just wondering. Greetings from germany ❤
Thank you for your comment! For most sweaters, I buy the yarn for the specific project, while for accessories and crochet tops I've managed to use yarn from my stash quite often. In the beginning I used to buy a lot of yarn without any projects in mind, now I'm more intentional with my purchases and am trying to slowly go through my stash, that's a big goal of mine! ❣
Great first video 😊 I honestly love your confidence 💃 In case you or anyone here is looking for a basic oversized sweater pattern - go check out my first design: The Allrounder. It's currently being tested and will be available on Ravelry mid february 🎉 Best wishes from Munich Nina

Me too! They are so rare 🥰
I’m so impressed by everything you knit in one year and by putting out such an amazing video for your very first video
Thank you this is so sweet 💕

That is such a good tip, thank you so much! I didn't put it in the wash/dryer, I've only ever hand washed, so this might really help! 🤗🤗
such beautiful pieces 😍
Thank youu x
You completed so many gorgeous pieces last year, and of course they all look amazing on you. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it 💓
I loved this! I would love a video on fiber and yarn! How to pick the right yarn for certain projects, how to know when to double up, which fibers to do so with, etc!

Couple of things I want to try.
You should "roll" your knitted pieces to avoid lines. All of my knitted pieces are stored rolled.
The mohair pieces are my fave - I have ME & overheat very easily so light layers are my faves.
No shawls ? I use these a lot.
Thanks for sharing❤
Never thought of rolling my knits, what a great idea! Mohair is the best! I should knit some shawls, I have zero :( Thank you for watching 💕
this is so good
aw thank youuu 🥺
Hello from Wisconsin! Thanks for sharing your projects! I love the cami in dusty artichoke! I've got some pure silk in poppy blue and have been hunting for the perfect cami pattern. I think that might be the one! Happy knitting
Poppy Blue is a gorgeous colour, it's going to look wonderful!
I'm liking the sweater you designed - esp the funnel neck aspect of it. Hard to find funnel necks outside of drop shoulders (which I despise). Following!
Thank you so much, I love to hear that, working on the final design right now :)
Hello from Denmark, I love your podcast and your choice of colors.
My favorite knit last year was also the Ingrid sweater, and I show it on my latest podcast, but it's in Danish so you probably don't understand much😂

I want to learn the technique where you knit the two socks at the same time, that might solve our problem!
Ok I need someone to make a full knit pattern for the Je ne sais quois cardigan, otherwise I'll have to learn crochet (I've tried but i just can't do it). It's too beautiful!
I love it so much!! It's really worth the try!

What an incredible first episode! I'm missing the context a bit (are you Italian?) but looking forward to next episodes 😊
Thank you so much! Yes I'm Italian :)
Just rushed off to buy the Aura pattern from Rows... I've been looking for ages for a pattern that looks like Tris's jumper from Divergent.
Yayy, glad you found a pattern you like!
