this is not a good way to change oil...you must first unscrew oil filter, remove oil cap and oil measuring stick and then drain oil..this way most of oil will be drained...and before puting new oil filter pour some oil in it before screwing it on
second problem is that car is not leveld so it wont drain all of oil...this is a problem with most hdi/tdci engines as they are very sensitive and regular oil changes are required
what spark plug do I need? And is the oil filter MANN HU 711 51 X?
I'm surprised the car didn't fall off both of those tyres are way off the centre line of the ramps

i have found on my peugot 307 2003 the fuel filter works better with the rubber gasket off ,, no joke

+RAK FAHEM There is no fuel filter to change, only oil, air and cabin air filter. Once the service is done, press and hold the trip computer reset button on the instrument cluster. Then, turn on the ignition put don't start the engine. hold the trip computer reset button - it'will count down from 10 to 0 on the display. Once it's at 0 release the button. DONE.

You never drain engine oil when it's up on a ramp.

The spigot is supposed to go into the filter 1st then refit the lid and tighten never put into lid otherwise oil will not filter
I don't quite get what you're saying... I changed the oil recently on a Citroën C4 2.0 petrol. When I changed the filter I just unscrewed the filter holder with a 27 mm socket. Once out I removed the old filter and replaced it with a new one by sticking it onto some kind of pin on the bottom of the filter holder. I also replaced the o-ring on the bottom of it. That was all. Finally I just screwed it back on. As far as I know there is no upside or downside on the filter itself.
GymChess don't worry you did it right mate the nipple on the filter sits in the whole at the lower right hand side of bottom of filter pace in and put lid on and tighten up
No. The filter looks exactly like the one showed in this video. The "pin" is inside the filter holder also as shown in the video. My initial question was, and since I'd never made an oil change on a Citroen, if there was an up or downside on the filter. Having made the change I assume that there isn't. So if there's anyone out there who's into details like myself, it's safe to attach the filter on either side.
GymChess the spigot/nipple on the filter sits in the whole if it aint got one it's the wrong filter. As long as you lid is all the way down its fine. If I was you undo if it comes out with lid you did it right but I'd change it for the one with the spigot/nipple or even get a citroen/ pergeot original part I've got a bosch on mine the last one was man those to or original nothing else will do a clean filter

alle filters was er af, schoonmaken? zeker niet!!!, in olie filter huis was nog olie en ik weet zeker nieuwe filter was zo in de oude olie gezet !
