Lovely video. I just spent one week in Northern Oman and had exactly the same vibes. Omanis were very polite, kind and welcoming people. All the places were clean and easy to visit. My favorites were Nizwa, Bidiyah and Wahiba Sands.
I loved your comment about the honesty you witnessed. I had a similar experience in Saudi Arabia. I was travelling with my grandmother, and she paid for something, but left without taking her change. The shop clerk, after realising, ran out looking for her in a busy mall in order to give her change back. My grandmother and I were shocked. The change was such a small amount. Not worth looking for someone over. But it was important to the man because that money did not belong to him.
I visited Oman a few months ago and I'm excited to finally have the footage edited to share with you all. it was absolutely amazing. Have you ever visited somewhere that surpassed your expectations?
Allison, many years ago I went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and it was amazing. We stayed at the Jamaica Inn and were treated like royalty. Incredibly beautiful and lovely people. Highly recommend! Oh, the food ,,, totally out of this world!
Omanis are one of the nicest people on this earth they are so sweet!. The musk you can grate it and put it in small peaces of fabrics and your drawers will smell amazing. Or use it as dry perfume and rub it over pulse areas.
Thank you Allison for this video as an Omani this makes me so proud and humble to know that you enjoyed your time here, and yes Oman's beauty is not only seen but also felt by its people honesty and kindness. Looking forward to welcoming you to Oman very soon xx
Thank you so much for visiting my country!! Oman is such a beautiful country but it's also unknown by many so thank u for putting it out there! Also, about the musk cube, crush it until it turns into a liquid-y paste and then put it in an unscented lotion for example and then you'll have a musk scented lotion (at least that's how I do it)
i was born in oman and lived there for 14 years, its the best place in the world and everyone there is so nice and welcoming to tourists. miss it everyday🥺
Hey Allison, I'm so happy that you had a wonderful time in my country and appreciative of your comments. Alhamdulilah ( Thanks to Allah Swt) that our positive energy and our culture of loving and respecting everybody and especially guests is acknowledged and appreciated by almost anyone who visits Oman. Thank you and you are all welcome to visit our beautiful country, God Bless you all
I wish Omanis treat everyone the same as the rest of the world do ,ethnicity still plays a large role in work, social treatment, salary etc . Still the coolest people I met in MiddleEast hands down.

I’ve been in Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt and I must say that Arabic countries are super safe, super fun and have super friendly people. They are very honest, humble and fun.
I grew up in Dubai and took many trips to Oman over the years. The Middle East is such an incredible place and the people are just beautiful. I live in Canada now but my heart belongs to the UAE. ❤ One thing I would recommend is doing a driving tour around the different Emirates and make your way over to Oman by vehicle. There are many hidden gems in the lesser known emirates. 🇦🇪❤

OMG, I so look forward to all your videos but this one was just spectacular. What beautiful views and places you have to remember and the people seem so warm, gracious and welcoming. What a treat. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!❤
I've always wanted to go to Oman! I have a friend visiting there now and after this video and seeing her photos, Oman just shot to the top of my bucket list!!
An undiscovered gem, an oasis in desert, Oman has much more to offer .! I hope your next visit to oman you would visit Salalah, Musanadam and Jebel Shams. These are amazing places and on the way you would come across even more beauty!
I was in Muscat in December, truly gorgeous city, must visit for anyone looking for a cultured stay. Amazing weather, people, beaches and plenty of things to do. Please note, it's VERY VERY expensive but definitely an experience of a lifetime
I salute you from Algeria. Oman is a very discreet country, I mean, we hear about Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iraq, Iran in the middle-east, but rarely Oman. A friend told me Oman is like a mid-eastern Switzerland: they stay away from conflicts, they dont have major enemies, they don't engage in foreign politics and are open to visitors and businesspeople. It's nice to see a country in that region being calm and away from all the fuss and chaos taking place. Thanks for the video.
The musk, shave a little piece off and burn it in a bit of oil or water on a dish over a flame (as you’d burn essential oil). Will make the room smell amazing!
@@RIZFERD ahhh yes targetting the south asian countries wow how extremely 'riCh' of you bud. For your information, not all the indians, pakistanis, bangladeshis and turkish people that live in Oman are poor bud. I would say that most of the south asian folks that live in Oman are living a pretty fulfilled life there. Tbh it was pretty XENOPHOBIC of you to bluntly say something extremely rude about a whole section of Asia. Oman is thriving bruv and the immigrants are part of the reason why Oman is the beautiful, rich, CLEAN and industrial country it is today. Check yourself next time before you blatantly spew such hurtful things about people and places. Such disgusting and racist behaviour is never appreciated by folks around the world. Oman looks so beautiful. I will definitely need to add it to my list of places to visit in the future. My boyfriend is Iranian and in Iran they have a strict dress code for everyone, even tourists. It varies depending on which areas of the country you are in and of course is strictest when visiting the mosques and shrines.
My son and his wife and my little grandson(Canadians) live in Oman working in the oilfield so I have been several times to visit. I absolutely love Oman, and all the places you showed we too have been there. The Omani people are warm, genteel and welcoming. I could so easily live there amongst them. Muscat is a lovely city with so much flavor! I truly enjoyed your video! Did you miss going out into the desert to experience the Bedouin lifestyle for a night or two? That was an exceptional experience......
I am really glad to hear you loved Oman! Your welcome anytime and I really loved the video and you covered everything nicely. As an Omani I would recommend you visiting salalah in the khareef season and its around June to august google it its amazing. much love and I just subscribed.
Be proud of your beautiful country. I visited both Muscat and Salalah in 2003 when I was working in Fujairah. Precious country, precious culture, precious people. God bless you.
I never visit the same places for a second time in a row, I prefer hopping from one place to another when going abroad. But if anyone wants to ever travel to the Middle East, especially westerners from Europe or North America, Oman is the place to go. Amazing: People, culture and hospitality is what I received, I met a lot of people who I wouldn’t even consider talking to back home. I felt like a new person after visiting, it honestly took my breath away. Oman is honestly the best country I’ve visited.
Allison, your content is refreshingly inspirational. Seeing you pursue your passions and sharing it with us inspires me to do the same. Thank you for being you. 💕
Hey, I'm glad you had such a fun time in Oman! In terms of how to use the musk, people usually put it in a small cloth or muslin bag and put that in either drawers, closets, suitcases and it will make your clothes smell great! Musk also comes in liquid form which people use as perfume or deodorant.

Awww you look so cute in hijab! The musk is usually burned over an opened flame to freshen up a room. You would use something like a wax burner to put small coals on to burn it. They also make scented coals. If you go to your local mosque or halal market, they'd probably tell you how to burn it or use it too. You could find the burner at the halal market. Another reason the cards being cheaper is because the Middle East had a lot of gold. It's commom for even poorer families to have a good amount of it.
So beautiful! I was wondering if you would consider talking about the expense one would pay to enjoy some of the sights and scenes you visited. I don't mean exact prices but maybe like a $ vs $$$$ classification.
Lovely video. I just spent one week in Northern Oman and had exactly the same vibes. Omanis were very polite, kind and welcoming people. All the places were clean and easy to visit. My favorites were Nizwa, Bidiyah and Wahiba Sands.
