I love watching your videos because you have the perfect balance between giving insightful information and showing beautiful scenery with fun things to do. You are one of my favorite RUclipsrs because you’re genuine and have amazing filmmaking skills!
Thank you!! I try really hard to strike a balance of sharing some destination info without boring people with too many facts, so this comment means a lot to me!
I just got back from Greece and Turkey and really want to go back already. There is a peace and beauty to these countries. Thank you for showing others these beautiful countries!
This really takes me back, early 80's I did the Mediterranean cruise out of Athens with KLine Hellenic and loved it. Also stopped then at Egypt for a Pyramid tour and Israel. Love the vid thanks
You are my favorite youtuber! I love how professional you are and how sweet and respectful your approach is in every place you explore. Thanks again for sharing and please be safe out there.
🧿 10:06 This isn't Asia, and it's not the 1.5 km long Bosphorus Bridge either. Over there in the video is europe too.🙂 But you can go from there to a subway (Marmaray) and to Asia in 2 minutes.
Actually, the bridge you've crossed connects different parts of European soil, not Europe and Asia. The actual bridges that connect the continents are not open to pedestrian traffic
Another beautiful video with such detailed descriptions. Makes me feel as if I'm almost with you. Just when I think you can't find one more adventure as exciting as the last, you surprise me and leave wondering what you will bring us next. Thanks again for sharing these amazing trips!
Hello from Athens! 💙 Greek here! In Greece, we use the verb "ma-ti-a-zo" from the greek word "ma-ti", which means "eye". It means that someone transfers to another person their envy about them through their look and it can cause to that person bad luck, ailment or uneasiness. Usually, we call an evil eye "ma-ta-ki", which is a diminutive for the word "eye". Some people, (like my grandfather) know how to take away from a person the bad eye or evil eye (greek word "xe-ma-ti-a-zo"). They whisper a prayer and some of them even perform some rituals. After that they often yawn a lot and they carry the evil eye and their uneasiness themselves for a sort period of time, usually for a few hours. I never found out the prayer my grandpa used because it was a secret that an old lady had told him when he was young. There are a variety of doctrines and beliefs about "xe-ma-ti-as-ma". Evil eyes are supposed to protect their owners from the bad eye or evil eye. Evil eyes are also placed on greek charms.
@allisonanderson During 10.28, you show Galata Bridge and Haliç river wich both sides of it in Europe. For passing through Europe to Asia or Asia to europe you should take ferry or use the Bosphorus bridges.
Hey Allison! I love your channel and the way you structure your videos. I want to start making travel videos and would love more videos on your creative process as well as tips. Could you please make a video on how you plan? Thanks so much!
I love the choice of music you put on your videos. So inspiring. After I watched your Alaska cruise video, I went on a 7 day cruise through the inside passage . Now I want to take another cruise.
Awesome vid! I have been watching your channel for more than a year and noticed how your video quality has improved overall (better composition, better color grading, etc.). Keep up the great work :)
Another beautiful and amazing video. You film in a way that makes us feel like we are there experiencing it too, which is great since I never get to travel.
Wow, this was such an eye opener to places I would have not considered before and am now very interested in! Beautifully shot and pleasantly narrated as always, thanks Allison!
Oh my goodness I watched your South Africa video right up to here and thanks to RUclips I love your channel! Great vlogging style and videos are beautifully edited! 🎉
Great trip. I did the Turkey and Greece trip. I love Istanbul. Greece is also awesome. I did a lot of shopping in Turkey at the Grand Bazaar. The spice Bizzare is next to the Grand Bazaar.
Good morning happy Sunday morning and I loved your travel vlogs and this looks sooo fun I'm glad you enjoyed in the cruise and your thumbnails is amazing
Awesome I went to Turkey and Greece 3 times each. On my 3rd trip to Greece, I ended up doing the 4-nights Greek Island Cruise stopping at Mykonos, Kusadasi (to see Ephesus), Patmos, Rhodes, Heraklion in Crete and then Santorini. On my first trip to Greece, I went to Athens and Crete - loved Athens. My second trip was to Corfu and Santorini. I went to Islanbul on my first trip to Turkey and it is one of my favourite cities visited
These views were simply amazing! The sunrise/sunset shots were spectacular. Your videos are so inspirational for both photography and travel. Hope your blue eye brings good juju 🤞
It is so nice to watch all your travel contents . I was amazed from your cinematography ;you are creative. The way you mention and describe the best part of the tourist spot is such a great.
Thank you so much for another amazing travel experience of yours ❤ Your shots and the places you saw were and are absolutely breathtaking ❤ I always wish that your videos would be a bit longer though :) Can't get enough!
Right?? I even searched online to see if there are other regular tours/evenings at Ephesus you can book to do something like this and it looks like it's exclusive to Seabourn. I don't know how they even swung that.
Greeting from Thailand. I'm your new subscriber. I've watched a few videos of yours so far. They fascinate me. I love them all. Thank you so much for sharing your precious experiences.
Hi! You are now my favorite travel vlogger, I like the places you’re going to, some of them we’ve been too, and yes they are the most epic places I’ve ever been, we’re going to Jordan next year, and excited for that already! Although with the pandemic we’ve also went to the most beautiful places in the US. Look at the Trail of the Ancients from southwest adventures, the parks we’ve been to are incredible!! 😮😮
I am literally binge watching your videos the entire day and I LOVE IT! I am heading to Namibia in a few months and after watching the video I got ADDICTED! Really love your videos. Especially the Germany one🤭 happy that you like my home country 🥰
Just a little correction about the Istanbul part. The bridge you walked on and took photos doesn’t connect Asia and Europe. That is one of the bridges on estuary in Europian side. The bridges over Boshphorus don’t available for pedestrian traffic. It can be walked by during only marathon days. 🌿
Your videos are more and more amazing (as are your experiences, I'm sure)! Thank you for bring us along for the ride and causing us to dream of new adventures!
You dont get enough credit for what you do! You make amazing travel vlogs. Inspirational. Great photos and edited as always! Love it. Dont be afraid to take a couple weeks or months off to enjoy life at home too. Good job Alli, I always watch you!
those birds are beautiful! Did you video those birds with sony 400 len? so beautiful! I have to go Istanbul next spring. Thank you for sharing your trip.
Omg, I would love to do the exact same tour. Is that possible with Seabourn? I trust you, since I did the exact tour you did in Oman and Dubai/Abu Dhabi. Thank you so much Allison!
For the nike logo, it doesnt come from a greek statue, it comes from an ex employee who only get a ring with a diamant as a payement for this great logo. (sorry for my english, im french ^^')
hey how do you capture your photos they are perfect and beautiful ?? and by the way i love seeing your videos while having my lunch or dinner and i hope that ill be there exploring all the places where you have been so far... they are surreal. i wish you best health and happiness . cheers!!
I've watched few of your videos and fell in love with them especially the ones for Antarctica & Africa! If I go to those places (someday I will & some places I'd like to revisit) and would like to follow your itinerary. So, wonder if you could add more details around the hotels, shops, restaurants, places (not just the city name), etc in the comment section? 🤩
Thank you for explaining the evil eye concept. Im heading towards Greece in a few months and I am not a souvenir person - I tend to travel light - but one thing I did want was to get an evil eye... well, i guess I'll just hope to be given one instead 😅
Sun, sea, and cats galore - what more do you need from a trip?? What's the next destination on your travel bucket list?
My husband is a musician and we’re traveling to Nashville in October for the first time, looking forward to seeing the culture and music.
Tanzania
Iceland and Hawaii. Can't wait to go! Hope I can visit those gorgeous places next year.🥲
Turkey nd u❤️
Which drone did you use ???

Turkey and Greece look beautiful.

The cruise ship was fortunate to support you --- as your kind, gentle persona and photography acumen are world class.
Loving the guest appearance of the dogs
the editing/cinematics of this video is just perfection! Your travels are my favorite to watch!

Thanks for the tip! Yeah I looked at the map wrong. So cool it's still so close on the subway!
i put this on my bucket list
Actually, the bridge you've crossed connects different parts of European soil, not Europe and Asia. The actual bridges that connect the continents are not open to pedestrian traffic
+1
Ah, you're right! My map reading skills failed me. Thanks for the heads up. Still so amazed that the city lies across two continents!
@@allisonanderson You should come again :)
There is also another city called canakkale, which also includes bozcaada :) I am from canakkale and it is always forgetten 😜
And this isn't Bosphorus it is Golden Horn. Again Bosphorus connects the European and Asian parts.
You have changed my view on cruises. The seabourn cruises look amazing. The Alaska one is on my bucket list and I might to add this one too!
Awesome trip! Thanks for taking us along with you.

These towns looked incredible! Adding some of them to my must-see places!
What was the demographic/vibe like on this cruise? Not looking for a party cruise but also don’t want a floating retirement home lol
Haha, did you go? I would love to do the same tour. I have done two trips (Oman and Dubai/Abu Dhabi) as Allison did. Both were on point!
