Nice video and a nice tour you got there mate! Just an advise: when you're served yogurt with nuts and honey, do not mix it. Just make sure your spoonful includes everything. Also, to anyone who likes the traditional Greek coffee, you should try it with a bit of tahini in it (tahini: sesame toasted and then crushed into something like a cream) or Greek coffee flavoured with mastic - these are for very few. Finally, the secret in the Greek salad lies right under the vegetables; deep a good piece of bread there to discover it.

Athens has a population of 3.6 million people. If you have not had a good Gyro in Athens you were going to the wrong place. Plus, visitors and locals alike don’t have to to leave Athens for good mezze. That’s ridiculous

Gyro isn't a Greek food. Just like hummus and yogurt. Although Greeks eat both, they didn't originate in Geece. Gyros are not even easy to find in Greece. It's all marketing. Hummus and Yogurt will never be marketed as Syrian or Iranian...why? Americans are not big fans of those countries. But Greece...that's glamorous. Take this from a 1st generation Greek.

Yes, gyros is a variation of Turkish doner, but as a Turk, I think it is more delicious than doner, the tzatziki sauce has a big effect on this, tzatziki in Turkey has a more fluid consistency.
