I worked years in Oman in Sohar , people are very friendly and still have to works , this in comparison to other ME countries . Nature is also beautiful .

In oman you will see bengalis pakistanis and indians everywhere because most of small buisness is run by these . secondly the man on the currency note is sultan haitam king of oman.

I tried Oman airlines business class to Bangkok it was truly the best experience in all my travels around the world, best food, seat and service in air. Oman is an authentic destination and beautiful country that is clean, safe and friendly people. You must go to the city of Salalah in the summer time one of he most beautiful green havens in the Arabian peninsula. So much to see in Oman from sea life to magnificent mountains that were once under water.

The airport is nice, hotel room is awesome and most importantly your mission accomplished...from getting a souvenir, a football jersey (nice one) trying Omani halwa, shawarma and that amazing and fun ATV ride in the sand dunes. I think Germans should be very proud. You guys are the world's best engineers and you guys have the world's second best cars...obviously my italian peeps have the best cars 😊 but.. Benz and Porsche are awesome..plus Rottweiler and German shepherd dogs are great
All I know about Oman is that it is positioned quiet strategically and has working as an intermediary in resolving disputes between the Islamic Republic of Iran on the one hand and the United States on the other. As such it managed successfully to achieve a prisoner swap with Iran under which several American citizens were released. Also Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been visiting with the Emir of Oman (whose portrait you find on your Omani bank notes) in the past on several occasions. It's a beautiful city but not in the conventional sense. The people are friendly and honest, the food wonderful and affordable and the roads excellent. Really enjoyed my short stay there

SOHAR is a good city and an industrial city of oman , I,m from India 🇮🇳 when you come to SOHAR from muscat, be careful those people loot taxi drivers a lot, the correct price is 5 rial sharing and 20 rial reservation form mct to SOHAR thank you 🙏🏻.
I was there a few years ago, it’s a great place, I have a friend who’s living there now, he got a job offer in Oman and he didn’t even know where the country was 😆 I had to show him where it was on a map 😂
