All the time I've spent in printmaking classes at an art college here, and I practically had to pull teeth to get information and instruction. I took my own books into the class so I could figure out what I had to do. Never had anything so focused and organized. This is an amazing video, it is so clear, and so generous with the information. You're really a gifted teacher as well as a gifted artist.
Agreed!
A lovely surprise ending! 😂 Very clearly explained. Thankyou.
What can I say? Awesome video, lots of useful informations, professional and likeable moderator. Thank you very much!
Thanks for the accurate and well-explained instructions; and for dropping the background music while you're talking.
really, the music is fine - I'd be ok with just lowering it a bit, but piano is relaxing
Not only excellent information, but DELIGHTFUL out-takes! :D
Very well done! You have had the good sense to show us close ups of your finished print. It is amazing how many tutorials fail to do this which is quite exasperating. ❤️ these videos❗️🙏
An excellent instructional video, clear and concise. More please. Love the cat!

Beautiful print! I love your pinecones!
Will you apply any color(s) or other techniques to the background to give it depth? Have you ever thought about shading the white mistletoe berries to help them stand a step out of the background?
You seem to be an excellent teacher who shares her experience and passion of this medium with everyone! God bless!
Nice demo. Love the cat.
Amazing print and cute guest to LOL
Really useful, thank you!

Merci, Madame (Emna Tunisie)
great, thank you. Tell me though how did you manage to cut an even passeportu style hole in the cover part of the printing device?
How can u be sure the edges around the Lino are clean so no smudges appear on the paper around the print ? When you ink up the Lino how can u be sure no ink goes into the md board: thank you for sharing your knowledge
Wonderful!!
Karen McLain thank you!
Your cat is so sweet haha!
This is a genius method.
thank you - it does take some of the stress out of printing for sure!
Most definitely!
Merci Madame
excellent.
wow! so good! ty!
Do you offer a package with all the spacers and insert bits?
I'm enjoying your videos very much. I tried to purchase your registration board but I am in the US. Any chance of making them available here as well?
Hi Jude we are working on sorting out the postage for sending these abroad, but we can do this for you manually at the moment. If you just put a straight order through my shop, it'll tell you the basket is overweight and that I'll get back to you. Then I'll mail you with the correct courier costs (I think about £15 off the top of my head, but I'll check properly of course) and we can go from there.
great Thank You
Hi Laura - Great vide and overview. I am impressed with your registration device. Can it be used for linoleum as well as paper of various sizes, or just for ones that print well on A4 paper?
Robert MacNeil the device will print up to an A4 piece of lino so the paper can be bigger. In a couple of days I am publishing a film with all sorts of hints and tips about using the reg device so look out for it in the #linowithlaura series
@@LauraBoswellPrintmaker Fantastic - I look forward to that upcoming video! Many thanks!
Harika...
Laura, can I ask if this template can be used with the printing press or is it only for hand-printing?

And also, when might you dampen the paper prior to printing on it? Do you do this?
