Another Great Video. Jay is a Master, placing the right questions, making the proper comments.. The Gentleman introducing his vehicles is a genuine Car person, a creative Artist. Thank you Jay and Donald, for this interesting Video .
Great presentation, Jay always does a great job with his knowledge and understanding of quality workmanship. These vehicles are the tip of the spear of Porsche, great to see the family producing incredible cars.
My grandfather was an Oldsmobile mechanic for some 35 years - I had watched a special recently with Chip Foose on a similar Olds and they panned the interior and showed the steering wheel with this huge ornament on the center of the steering wheel - I immediately recognized it as an object my grandfather kept in a very sparse collection of items he displayed he must have really loved that 1952 Dynamic 88 . Exceptional examples of true outlaw craftsmanship here , super impressive!
It’s great for us that Rod chose to spend his life building these amazing custom Porsche. If not, he’d likely have been a used car salesman. Jay has such patience and respect.
Beautiful 64 I used to sell Porsche Audi Volkswagen am I late 70s and my boss had a 1961 convertible d Jay I've met you several times and we talked cars one time at a McDonald's for 2 hours in Las Vegas
The danger in chopping any car, is that it has to be really superb, or it destroys the value in the long run. This is why resto-mods that make the least changes to the overall body shape are more valuable. Even then, what is modern in terms of suspension and drive train now, will become ancient in a couple of decades. If custom floats your boat, it is your money and your enjoyment. But avoid thinking of customization as a long-term investment unless the vehicle is associated with a historical figure. For me, the experience of the original look and function is at least half of the joy of an antique.
Great video - the video is a bit “cool” temperature wise. Makes Rod and Jay look a bit ghoulish when in person their complexion is much warmer. More noticeable on Jay.

Wow stunning craftmanship. I love the "looks like factory" as with the T-Bird and from there ... perfection.
They should make a series of the Emorys history in the hot rod world , leading to the Outlaw Porsche's.
Jay, I was at your R.I. Concourse & saw that display at the International Tennis Hall of Fame--it was very interesting, well done. :)
… The Emory & Foose family
are the truly Californias
legendary builders! 🤘🏽😎

I think the Oldsmobile was my favourite but the custom cabriolets were very skillfully executed . Thankyou
That’s a good one. Thank you
Ain't worth a thing if you never sell it & you can't sell your dad's, dad's car. But that trailer & "rig", now that's the coolest thing, ever....
I really like that black T-Bird, and I mostly dislike T-Birds as a rule.

Sold it for an arm and a leg ... hahaha
😎
Thanks for another fun episode. BTW, I was dismayed to read that Donald will be leaving the Audrain. (Say it ain’t so, Donald.)
Donald is not leaving the Audrain and he will be just as present on RUclips!
@@AudrainMuseumNetwork 👏👏👏
Sir you clearly did not read it 😂
BTW, you’re an idiot.
