These are the greatest. I used to always say "If anyone ever comes out with a grease coupler that actually works I will buy it!". Well - I've been using a Lock 'N Lube for 2 years now and it is the mack-daddy accessory for your grease gun. Out of all my zerks I only have two that I can't get the Lock 'N Lube on due to its size and for those I use a little 90-degree adapter. I too tried the Univerco and while it works most of the time if you have a zerk that requires a lot of grease pressure it can be nearly impossible to detach. I've never had an issue with the Lock 'N Lube.
Great video! I bought one a month ago when I got my dewalt 20V grease gun but never put in on not thinking I would need it now I have a free hand. I need to get it on my old one after watching this so I can keep in the tool box for a back up.
Thanks Chris, did not know that the Lock N Lube mentioned was anything like this. I assumed wrongly he was talking about a side mount, slide on zerk popular on pipeline valves. Will have to get some of these and none of the other.
Best maintenance investment I have ever made was buying the Lock-N-Lube Coupler at the same time as a Dewalt 18v (matched my other cordless tools) cordless grease gun. Makes greasing *almost* fun. I'll go ahead and say it's fun when my 6 & 8 year-olds are helping.....
yepp, i got the same since a longer time - still on duty and it s very usefull! you have both hands free to press especially in difficult conditions and it fits as well in tubes like in dozer blades which has protection tubes . no grease is going beside . greasing is fun with it again . take care buddy
i like it.. i still worry about not wiping the fitting tops off and pumping dirt right into the bushings.. but that has nothing to do with the grease gun.. i might also install a 2" nipple and a coupling to give a better handle to squeeze and a much longer or 2 hoses end to end. i also wonder about having an operator in the machine wiggling the controls to work the grease all the way around the pins when doing this..
I usually wipe the grease fittings before and after greasing them, with a Case backhoe, I usually use the steel tube but I dont tighten it up all the way. I leave it a turn or two loose so I can rotate it around as I need to reach fittings. With the steel tube, you can push the bottom of the gun with one hand to keep it on the fitting while pumping with the other hand. I do like the idea of this product, I wonder if they sell them in Canada, BTW, I've been running equipment for over 30 years, I only use Lincoln grease guns.
Neat invention, would work well on my 18 v Milwaukee . Tip looks big and unwieldy and the seal kits would be a one-off to special stock up on it would seem to me.
Try adding a hose or two to your grease gun. That should allow it to land somewhere for one hand operation. Had the same problem before battery grease guns on combines trying to reach and hold only yielded profanity.
That should take care of those annoying 'pop off' grease fitting. ( Updated comment ) I have ordered one of these Chris. Because I too have had that annoying experience with keeping the grease hose in place when trying to grease my tractor's outriggers. ( Who the heck, told those manufacturers to put those grease fitting's under there and pointing straight down !!)
that's a handy gadget, it's so big of a pain for the grease gun nozzle to slip off when you have to hold it just right while you hold the grease gun and try to pump , so this would be very nice.
looks handy except for those tight spots like the rollers under the skidsteer. Those are hard to hit and fit. But for most purposes and our lever guns yeah. We must have a half dozen guns laying around including electric and air compressor guns.
In general it's every full day of use, so if it's only doing 1/2 hour a day you can get away with leaving it a few days or if it's working hard you might wanna do it at lunchtime and in the evening (it's a job best done last thing, same as filling with diesel)
Chris, not trying to be an ass but if you took the time to post links to the cool shit you find I would almost be sure you would have over 300k SUBS......then maybe you get a little something out it???? (people are lazy when we finally get behind our desks!!! LoL
ive been looking for these, only place i could find is ebay, wish that auto zone or O'Reillys where already carrying these, checked john deere too, nothing
I was at a new holland dealership trying to find a part but they were useless and while I was waiting I was looking at one of those and damn near bought it, I should have actually

Hey, I live on a farm and have 2 Lincoln grease guns, 1 ni-cad and 1 lithium. No excuse. Got rid of the hand job long ago. I think I will be adding this fitting lock to both of them. Thanks for the review.
They look handy I just wish they were not so expensive. I dunno, guess I'm just tight. But $30 bucks seems like a lot. especially if you need several. I'm waiting hoping they come down in price.
One thing I'm curious about is if they release easier. I have as much trouble with the coupler getting stuck on zerk fittings as the coupler falling off. I have jerked hoses into trying to get them off.
they are so much easier to release i would bet you would try it once and never go back hell i've been spoiled by them and put them on all my dads grease guns so when i have to work with him i dont get pissed off by crappy connecters
Hey Bud!,...Looking to buy a dozer,..considered a 450 but,keep hearing, all the safety switches are shit on Deere....Prefer,a Cat!,...any leads here in Texas?...something around 1200hrs for 50k..
It only took my employees 3 days to damage the end of my Milwaukee 12v grease gun so that it doesn't stay on. Nothing like having to jamb your arm through the pivot cams to get to the zerks on the bucket pin.
now you just need to invest in a battery powered grease gun and put that on it. I finally broke down and bought one. it was the best 300$ I've ever spent.
I THINK I saw this @onelonelyfarmer. he also had foot operated pail of grease they had sent or maybe purchased(???) anyway it sure is a good thing to have.
I'm an old timer. I was taught to wipe grease fittings before putting the gun on it.
Jim Clark The rule still stands. why would you allow dirt and crud be pushed into the joint or bearing? Clean that zerk!
It bothers me too but hes doing it one handed so he cant :p
its just old grease, one bucket of dirt spilling over puts more dirt on that pin than could ever be forced through that little hole
wrong - this guy is causing more wear than he's preventing
Dragon Butt~ Doing it one handed is no excuse. He could have set the camera down in a spot where he was in view and doing it the right way.

had these at work for the last 12 months. thank god the boss got them. best thing ever

Robert Ross Until they start blowing the seals out from overdoing it...
Nighthawke70 Maintenance takes common sense, whether using a cordless or hand grease gun.....or teaching/allowing the kids to assist.
Robert Ross
Sometimes common sense takes a radical departure and then things get interesting.
Used them for 2 years. Have them on every grease gun I own. Love them

Thats it you convinced me, I got one like that a year ago but never got around to using it. Just have to find it now lol.
Neat invention, would work well on my 18 v Milwaukee . Tip looks big and unwieldy and the seal kits would be a one-off to special stock up on it would seem to me.
i looked at that one but the large clamp turned me away. I got a Univer-co grease coupling and has worked great.
Try adding a hose or two to your grease gun. That should allow it to land somewhere for one hand operation. Had the same problem before battery grease guns on combines trying to reach and hold only yielded profanity.
would it work on the good loads. like cat war it's in the pins. ok so im stuck at home and bord

looks handy except for those tight spots like the rollers under the skidsteer. Those are hard to hit and fit. But for most purposes and our lever guns yeah.

They don't do much laying around.
did you see the setup lock and lube sent wes? olf
now that is something that's great to have.
how often do you need to grease?

Chris. I like what I see,. where can I buy a few at?
do a google search and it should tell you

What brand grease do you use
Don’t know if you watch OLF, One Lonely Farmer, but he also has the foot pump gun from the same company. I think it has a six foot hose.
looks good! What grease do you use?
ive been looking for these, only place i could find is ebay, wish that auto zone or O'Reillys where already carrying these, checked john deere too, nothing
What would happen if it did blow off? I have heard that it's bad.
I heard it could go critical and destroy the whole county
Where do you find those
okay, I need one of those, I hate trying to fight the hose staying on.....
Tim Beverly same here
$ 35.00 from amazon
mean joe green shoup manufacturing $30...
You don't use a cordless grease gun.??
hey, you must first clean the grease Zerks, otherwise you bring all the dirt into the bearing, then you ruin it. The dirt is like emery paste.
I was at a new holland dealership trying to find a part but they were useless and while I was waiting I was looking at one of those and damn near bought it, I should have actually
I'm kind of surprised you don't have cordless grease gun.
xXBuckOFiveXx he does, I don't know why he's not using it
I have one at work but just a hand pump for around the farm, because im just cheap

You're still happy with that coupler? Heard from few people that these couplers wear and start spilling the grease after few months of use....
Hey Bud!,...Looking to buy a dozer,..considered a 450 but,keep hearing, all the safety switches are shit on Deere....Prefer,a Cat!,...any leads here in Texas?...something around 1200hrs for 50k..

order a replacement
a few dollars now will save you time which means money over a long time
"Grezzee it" 😁
Very interesting product
I need some of those
now you just need to invest in a battery powered grease gun and put that on it. I finally broke down and bought one. it was the best 300$ I've ever spent.
Battery powered? Forget that, why not just make one that works with air pressure? Fill it up, use it, refill it with air later.
MCequipment he has one on his work truck.
For a once being half deaf and almst half blind was amusing, ause I had to recheck the name, first time I heard and read it to Luck N Lube.
ordered 2 great tip
one lonely farmer talks highly about it also. looks like a nice gadget.
Y don't u just get a GoPro with a head strap
Cause you look silly when wearing it
bahahhaha so true
fuck manually greasing a machine :P I love my electric gun with lock n lube
out of everyone I'm surprised you don't have a battery operated grease gun haha
nice but wow about $40au +$21au post
I'd take one for free, need a decent grease gun to put it on though. lol
$30 fittin on a $5 grease gun

Cringe-worthy, best example of how not to grease anything....
