When I see “burn” and “massive” in the description of the video, and it’s a LD18 video, well, you can bet I’m watching, no question or doubt about it. And the 350 grapple just adds to the entertainment. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
I sure do enjoy a good controlled fire! I love the sound, smell, and best of all watching an unsightly brush pile disappear! Thanks for another great video Chris!
It looked pretty good but I don't think it compares to that one a few years back that was estimated at 70' high. I think that's the one where the windshield of the 220 was cracked by the heat.
Using Dragons Breath to start one of those bonfires would make an awsum video. I am imagining Letsdig casually going along in his excavator then immediately stopping, slamming the door open while screaming and jumping out with his 12 guage shotgun then proceeding to unload it on the burn pile. Dragons breath for those who dont know is a 12 gauge shotgun shell loaded with magnesium buck shot. So its basically a 12 guage buckshot tracer round.
It’s amazing how much the 350 can handle. That grappler itself weighs a lot and it can still pick up those large stump and trees. You gotta be happy with it.
Different strokes for Different folks... Fog and smoke doesn't mix.. Can't burn in Florida until after 9am and the thermals are rising... 1-75 in Florida 2012... 75 car pile up caused by morning fog and smoke from a wild fire the day before.. We have a stack of rules for burning in Florida and I'm a certified pile burner and they still give me a hard time.
Oh Yeah , We got a lot of Rain pushing threw right now here in Western Ky. !! I believe that would be a smart move to cut a spot threw there with the Dozer to keep all that brush in check , just incase !! lolol... Don't need half the farm on fire !! lololol... Man, that Grapple on the 350 gets one Hell of a Bite !! lololol... But, Great as Always Chris, Have a Great Evening Man, And, On too the Next...
The 220 can pick through the pile, but the 350 can move the pile quickly. Is a time saver for your burn technique? You adapted to felling and breaking the trees.
Hot coals, Chris. Them big old logs will burn like the sticks you started with.. if you can get your burn pile hot enough and able to suck air. The old birds nest principle works well. Other than that a massive North Carolina recycling plant would work. Ain't there a lot of sand down there?
where's the Porta Potty sponsorship? "A nice Porta Potty for when after a burrito lunch, Montezuma comes to exact his revenge, there is no time to waste!"
I’ve been enjoying your vlogs for at least five years now and used to love these burns, but lately its a bittersweet experience. Here in Denmark big open fires have been illegal for years now. The summers are warmer and winters have become warmer every year. Something has to stop this madness. It was fun as long as it lasted. When do you guys wakeiup?
There is zero proof of AGW. The only people pushing that narrative have something to gain by hamstringing USA and EU economies. China does not recognize AGW, and that's where the lion's share of CO2 is coming from.
Curious if Chris calls the fire dept. to let them know, he is going to do burn? In my area one needs a permit to burn and then its only certain types of combustibles.
Chris, You Planing by beginning from the Root out Work, how You the Burning Heap to put to must. By the Heap building You a Master. The great Heap, and the other Material in Perfect Distanz roud the Fire Heap. You have the to know how Danger a Fire in a Wood Areal is. Perfect Planing and Work however. This Video to show all what is to attention . Thanks. 💪👌🔥👍
@JohnShalamskas I'm talking about a onboard fire suppression system on the excavator in case it catches fire. Every la drill machine and alot of forestry machines have them. It's a onboard dry chem system that has nozzles in key locations to put a fire out in the engine area or swing area of the machine.
@@Monkeysic That's a great idea. I recently watched Andrew Camarata lose his Hyundai excavator because some leaves caught fire in it, and his fire extinguisher was full but packed solid from vibration and therefore useless.

Looked like a pretty good fire as always
Did not realize how deep this pit is. Burning good Chris. Thanks
And in Germany/Europe, burning wood in fireplaces without filters is forbidden. And you do whatever you want in the USA. Hammer hard.
Most of the USA is still free, there are some people who really like to cause problems. There aren’t many in NC or Oklahoma where I’m from.
Good Sunday morning everyone I hope you all enjoy your day we have a fine day in Tasmania again but a bit chilly 😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Love a Lets Dig 18 burn day
People don’t realize the sure size of the 350 and the attachments you can fit the whole front end of a pickup truck in the bucket
I think it was the video yesterday when Chris was working on the old 220 the thumb was as big or bigger than Chris and the bucket very big.
I love seeing the Graptor from the ground level. It's so big!!! It's certainly one your most visually impressive attachments!!!
This guy likes the size of Chris's attachments! Visually impressive huh?
True professional, giving props to whom they’re due.
Looks like you will have a few burns!! Forgot about this one!! Impressive fire on this one!!
Probly one of his tallest fires ever stacked 😂 lol don't blame him for wanting to use the bigger machine
Plus he's kinda partial to the 350😂

Arson is a performance art.
LOL HAH Peace out

Your new "leaf blower" would be a fun watch on one of these burns....
Great job 👍🏻

My favorit channel.
👍🇳🇴
ditto! 🙂
Love the videos man keep it up
THANKS!
Good morning my friend 😮😊😅❤
0:25 reminded me of witnessing the 1995 Aggie Bonfire! Talk about a blast furnace - it was awesome!
The 220 can pick through the pile, but the 350 can move the pile quickly. Is a time saver for your burn technique? You adapted to felling and breaking the trees.
Yeah lets have a fire time lol
should have brought the big leaf blower on the small tractor. shit that would be a great fire starter
That's not just a burn pile, that's A BURN PILE!!!!!!!!!
That grapple for your 350 is absolutely amazing
fire
Hey CHRIS I LIKE THE GRAPPLE ON THE 350 IT LOOKS TUFF 😊
15:00 Man, that is a hell of a brush mover. Massive claw! 😳. Bet those gnats are gone now… 😂
Sometimes I think he should change the name of the channel to Fire Bug.

love your work Chris, especially a huge brushpile burn pit 🔥
👍👍👍👍👍👌
Yeaaa! It's time for the Christmas Bonfire, Woohoo!! 🔥🎄🎁✨️🎅
Nice pile of wood!
Nothing like a foggy December morning for Chris to start up a Big fire.
❤❤😊😊😊😊
👍👍🇬🇧
love watching that wicked Grapple Rake... kinda dinosaur like.
💥💥
You could incubate a lot of Uruk-hai with that burn pit and all that wood.
Nice video Chris.
😎😎😎👍👍👍
Chris: If it burns the field down, it's only a few acers!
Like watching the Big Dog eat.
Grind it up and make mulch. You could sell truckloads of it and make good money instead of burning it.
At last Chris can build burn piles instead of campfires, now he has the equipment.
You know you have a great fire when. You throw big grapple fulls on your fire, and it said I'm hungry. I want more.
Nice fire
I would like to see the effect that new blower on the skid steer would have aimed at the base of that fire. I’ guessing massive flames.
Highly illegal here in Sweden🤠
Have a few hot dogs on sticks and call it a cookout bbq.
hello
Hello Sir... I am late. I had a talk with my cousin from Canada 🙂
@@RickLane-x4j They cuffed and stuffed. Busy today too
@@bobbyb322 Love the power burns 🙂
@@bobbyb322 Love the powerburns 🙂
@@RickLane-x4j I needed ya but I beat them back in the end
👌
question to learn the logs why not save and sell as cord wood
You should buy a grinder and make mulch vs burning all that good material! 😂
That or cut it and get a processor and start his second channel…firewood18..lol
Chris I hope you're wearing your 👟 tennis shoes because you're gonna have to RUN when that 🔥🔥starts cook'n😂
Me: waiting for the fire department to show up 🤣
That farm is big enough to have it’s own
I would’ve called them before I started, but that’s just me.
Was Aaron before or after Tim? I don’t remember him at all. Not that it matters but now I’m curious. 🤨
I think Aaron was another RUclips guy doing a cameo, not an employee.
Did I miss the episode when you got a thumb on the 350! Posting this comment at beginning of video, so knowing my luck you will talk about it later!
That'a part of the grapple attachment.
🙂
We have a conflagration!
What is that whine on the 350 when you boom up with a load? I have been noticing it, but have been struggling to isolate it.
A hydraulic pump!
I impresset how kwick, it dry.
Sorry my engelish.
Love this channel.🇳🇴
I’m from Oklahoma and my english isn’t good either. English is a hard language to work with. You’re doing good.

I actually completely forgot to even get a permit for this one lol
When did you get a thumb for the 350???
Couldn’t you dig a borrow pit and bury all the large logs?
I'm surprised a Karen didn't complain that you were polluting the air the cows are breathing.

Curious 🤔?
.... Do U legally (🤣🤣) have to call in a "Control Burn" or get Permits when doing this down in ur Neck of the Woods?
Not in Oklahoma we don’t
Chris has talked about getting a burn permit in the past.
Are you playing video pool on your little screen ? Show off !
Your carbon footprint is like a billionaire with a private jet and a super yacht. 🤣🤣
I'm surprised with the amount of burning you do you don't have fire suppression systems installed on your equipment
Can use the dozer to cut a firebreak.

Hi. Why do you speak in negatives? You stated " why don't I " when you can ask " should I " or " could I ". . Andrew
