We had a power panel to control everything with the two generators and to parallel the electric ⚡️ So you could put together a panel with watts, voltage, cycles and AC & DC input and output. You know this is all manual! 😊Thumbs up 👍
Push lok hose are great for low pressure make on site to fit applications. I would suggest having a small assortment of 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2 fittings and hose on hand. Pay for itself in no time at all… Thanks for the videos. Merry Christmas!
The engine should have an isochronous governor. That means the RPM's of the engine remain the same no matter how big the load is on the generator as controlled by the governor.. Woodward was a big manufacture of isochronous governors.
Did it not have a voltage regulator? You are a smart engineer, and I’m sure you can figure it out. But there are plenty of electronic voltage regulators out there that would automatically take care of that.
I hear the words Sam is speaking but I don’t really understand what he is talking about. It doesn’t matter because I really enjoy watching whatever he’s doing.
Awesome stuff Sam very interesting Thanks for posting
Projects and machine improvements. Good job.
Outstanding and awesome content as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Amazing technology for the time. Love the brass being polished and of course everything in that era was Machine Grey
Great video Sam watching from Edinburgh Scotland UK 🇬🇧

Love your videos mate ! Jono from Aus !
Whatever you're saying is OK with me, because I don't have any knowledge about electricity and wiring terminology 😂😅😂 but i enjoy watching.
Good morning Sam!
2:50 They had "automatic" regulation on the ship. He was the E-1 that was told to watch the gauges and adjust when necessary 😁
I saw the lid !!!!!!! Underneath the forklift !!!!!

Meggers are a great tool they will tell you if you have a broken wire in a well pump, without having to pull the pump.

remember the engine rpm = the Hz
It looked like it was on the floor behind you at the bench.
Wonder what it is gonna be used for... is a plan hatched?
Heck of a smartphone charger. Is it usb-c for the newer phones?
So in the event of a power outage that generator could potentially power your workshop I'm I correct ?
