Your 350 is a clearing beast. I really enjoy your videos that are focused on clearing and pond building. That new technique of breaking the trees is going to save you on a lot of chainsaw work. You’re never too old to learn something new that will save you time and money.
After seeing Betty struggle to lift the Grappler, and the 350 using it to pick up a full load of brush and extend it out... wow that thing is seriously powerful
The content from that other camera shot by your visitors of you clearing the road with the 350 really shows the enormity and power of that machine and the adeptness of your operating abilities that we don’t often see. Tnx.
Chris, it even showed that you learned something new by handling the two prong bucket to cut the trees in halve !! We are never too old !! Greetings from Australia
That was the ticket for clearing those trees Chris with the 350 an stumper, man that's fast with it, an snapping them like that, so quick, Aaron did awesome on the truck, think he's done that a time or 2 lol, cool to see u guys work together, what he does for the dirt community with his platform is pretty freaking cool, thanks for sharing an I look forward to seeing the next video as always 🇺🇲👍💪✊🤙🌲🇺🇲
The 350 reminds me of the days when you were clearing house lots with Uncle John and you were on his 250! Man, I thought that excavator was a hoss back then! The 350 is bad to the bone, Chris! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The 350 really is a powerhouse! It's awesome to see how new techniques, like breaking trees, can make clearing and pond building more efficient. Do you have any other time-saving tips you've learned over the years?
"Watch as massive machinery moves huge amounts of brush to clear the path for a new road! The precision and power of these machines in action are truly impressive, making light work of the challenging terrain. It’s fascinating to see how these heavy-duty machines shape the landscape for infrastructure projects."
Everything grows with warm air and plenty of rain in the southeast, unlike Scottsdale, AZ. I remember Gila Bend, Az. July 5, 1972 - 117 F. @ 7am on the porch of the ice house and a 6 ounce glass of water was 50 cents. 350 will give you the power you need. Looks like you are piling up another campfire for the space station to watch.
The young fellow did good, Should have looked at the windows on your haul truck to see if he cleaned them, if he did you could turn him loose on the excavators so we could see out the windows:)
Did you catch Mike at Dirt Perfect with a can of glass cleaner and a rag this past week??? It was shocking but boy could we see better from the cab shots after.
Of course he was complaining that it would just get dirty again. I told him it was just like housework, by the time you are done you have to start at the beginning as it is a forever job.
Man I’m glad you were able to come out, I was in the HL960 with the rollout bucket at Mr Diggs place. Every bit of free time I got, a truck pulled up and I had to load them when yall were around. Hopefully yall come back!
The volume of material you can move with the new grapple, is impressive. Barney has earned its keep, especially when you consider the work you did to it to get it working for you. I get the feeling you are going to need to decorate a Christmas tree out by the garage this year. A 40 won't fit in the house. 🤘😎
For people wondering who Aaron Witt (also on youtube) is; Look into Buildwitt Training, Dirt Talk Podcast, and Ariat Dirt World Summit. He is basically a Civil Engineer (now CEO/President) that wants to help people get into the "Dirt world" and works with big companies all around the world. He has an office in Downtown Nashville.
Nice having a driver, makes for short work. That 350 is just leaving a path of destruction, snapping trees like twigs, you dont realize how big that grapple is until it gets close to the camera, it`s massive, be well my friend.
Great progress, Chris. That 350 is a beast. Gee, is Aaron growing up? He WAS helpful today and not as full of himself. It's a nice thing to see. Hope you had fun in SC with Ryan, it was fun seeing you on his live stream. Thanks for sharing this, Chris.
Great job breaking trees and hauling them off. Aaron did a good job. Good team work. Hope you have a safe and fun trip next week. Thanks Chris enjoyed the video.
Your videos are like angel farts glistening in the heavenly dew and the editing is flawlessly executed and only out done by content that is unbelievably accurate and and just awesome. I have never seen dirt fall from a bucket like this before I am moved to extreme emotion and I’m literally beside myself. Keep up the good work and only you and God can save the world……..sorry I couldn’t resist
Good to see Aaron on the job - has some really great adventures all around the world. What a fantastic find - the stumper breaks the trees so no chainsaw re4quired - you will miss one of your 'favourite' jobs :) Looking great LetsDig18 and did you win?
Sounds like snap crackle and pop Chris good morning haven't commented for a bit on holiday Germany Holland and Belgium visiting friends thanks 👍 again bud
Hi Chris great vid as usual. I never thought I'd see Aaron Witt doing a report on another Y/T channel. Maybe it's the start of a new series. Guess i'll have to wait to see how he puts his spin on your operations. Hope it was a fun day. Cheers from down under🇦🇺👍
Slight risk a snag coming back into the cab like almost happened at 10:10 and 15:10 or a stump causing the trunk to bounce back at you but you learned quick enough once you saw the potential to keep enough distance or not go too high up the tree. Interesting.
I think these guys might have came to my job site a couple of years ago in Louisville KY. I build bridges and I think these were the guys my boss bought out.
GM Chris one attachment for the 350 see it you can get a thumb that would be a real ass kicker you are the best I have something I want to give you for Xmas
For the new Road building have You a broad Line Trees and Brushwood to root out, and to a great Place, to the Storage Drive. Much Work and Drive. The Video however Interesting. 👌
Yeah, Ya got ya a New System now when you ain't got to save anything , just pull and snap !! Man, that Grapple gets on Hell of a Bite !! Forgot just how much it will grab at once !! lolol... Great as Always Chris, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Just put that road straight down the center so the mowing guy has even on both sides. A brush hog once or twice a season should make for a nice clear path. Makes life so easy. Keeps those sprouting trees from taking hold.
I am surprised you haven't started to play the "Move it least" game with brush you do with dirt. Pick a center and dig your burn pit and claer outward from it and just pile the brush on top. a burn pit the diameter of your bucket reach could probably take the charcoal and ashes of the area 1 or 2 reaches out from that center. Move it once and you don't need the truck, and just buldoze the topsoil back over the pit.
A man I consider a heavy equipment God learning a new technique after decades of experience. I just need to win a lottery to be able to get a piece of equipment to try it out more.
Down in his area for sure. Only way to keep clear down that way is prescribed fire on a regular schedule. We do the same in southern Missouri. Grow your trees like savanna landscape and then burn regular to keep the scrub down and it lets grass grow in the meantime without the brush and trees taking over. As long as the flames are low, those pines can take it. singe a little bark at the bottom but it heals good.
I think I've said it before... I'd sure like to hire that big machine and grapple for a week. But I am all the way on the other side of NC. The haul bill alone would be more than I could afford.
You accomplished quite a bit of clearing in this video, that burn pile is going to be of epic proportions when you start burning it.great video as always.looks like you have everything planned out for a great road build.just keep doing your thing.be safe.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Is the Stumper able to handle the side force that you are putting on those forks? Those pine trees are really packed together, as seen at 34.2. Only the tops are a live everything below is dead. What a beautiful day. Thank you and have a great day.
HI CHRISS!!! The guys and I were just talking about how much you bounce around when tracking. Do volvo's come with a air ride trucker's seat? Looks like the kidneys take a beating from all the bouncing. The grabber thing really works well. We really enjoy your videos although there are only 4 of us left now to watch. Keep up the good work.

I was surprised how easy it snapped those trees
@ Even though his stumper is built very heavy I was a little worried that he might snap a weld on it breaking those trees in half.
@@davidepool5884 What is that 1 1/2 plate on that? It gets so hard to tell the scale with these larger "buckets" on the 350.😅
@@user-bt6hh9yu1n yep a beast snapping those trees . Think when he done it first it was accidental an way hay this works 😂

That was Aaron from BuildWitt look him up
Always amazing that you find a better or faster way from an accidental tree dropping!! That’s going to be a hot fire!!
Chris, it even showed that you learned something new by handling the two prong bucket to cut the trees in halve !! We are never too old !! Greetings from Australia
It's always neat to watch you take one helper and mow through a lot of work. Looking great.
Nature has a way of reclaiming the land.
Not if Chris has anything to do with it.
Love when happy accidents become new procedures!

That stumper that breaks trees is a great idea.
OMG I watch Aaron all the time what a surprise.🚜

Love Aaron's work. He brings you to some of the most remote places where some of the biggest earth movers are and operate.
He has been on the channel before too.
thank you very much
Thank you, I was just scrolling to see if someone shared this information. 😊😊😊😊

Nice job, guys

Can't get over the size of that grapple Chris two scoops to fill a 25t truck is unreal. Hope you'll fly the drone when your finished. 👋

that bucket works great the 350 is clearing an easy 60 ft wide road it is a monster
I sure do hope to see that fire!!!
Good job ❤❤❤
So cool! No saw that Great! 😊❤
Thanks for the video , Like it .
Man, that’s one big bucket full of trees! Doesn’t look that big till you hold it over the bed. Wow it’s huge
Hi Chris, I now realise how very large that grapple is. Thank you for the video.
Really good video bro ya got quite a bit done with Aaron's help. Look forward to the video of your trip to you know where. Safe travels y'all. Ken.
Awesome video look forward to seeing your next videos.
Busy…busy…busy. Very efficient!😊
That is tough roots to lift the back of the 350 at around three minutes in.
Yeah Chirs it was 75 today and our low is to be 48 tonight in North Phoenix/Sunburst Farms, Az horrible winter 😆
High way to heaven
Reclaiming the nature
Good job doing that

@45:35 That's what I call a LOAD!!!
The 350 looks different in person. They have one in town tearing down the old county jail. That's a very nice-looking machine.
For the new Road building have You a broad Line Trees and Brushwood to root out, and to a great Place, to the Storage Drive. Much Work and Drive. The Video however Interesting. 👌
If you were to machine cutting edges on your tines it might make cutting through roots a lot easier
I saw a Volvo A60H headed to Canada, through Bellingham WA.,HUGE
Merry Xmas and a happy new year for you and your family 🎉

I sugessted a D8 some time ago, but he got a 6. Still holding out, as he grows into it

Awesome job Chris looks like your going to have a big fire soon . Im Victor from the upstate of South Carolina.
Man you made quick work of that.
Love your work as always Chris thank you.
Amazing how 350 handles the graptor, it looks like a feather. And Betty could barely get it on the trailer
Nice job
That's going to be a massive fire. Going to need to put a camera on that one from start to finish

Seems like those machines are pretty quiet on the inside.
That saves a lot of time doing it that way lol
Seams like a thumb on the 350 would be really handy for taking down tree's
I always wondered how a dozer root rake would work on an excavator.... 👍🏼
Chris worked with a guy who had one clearing some horse pasture a while back. I did a cool job for open ground.
Well a big brush pile means a big fire
Visible from low Earth orbit.
@ true . Now that one huge burn pile he had at the farm . Now that was a fire you could see from the orbit .
NASA had to change orbits to keep from bur ing the paint off satellites.
I am surprised you haven't started to play the "Move it least" game with brush you do with dirt. Nice video Chris. I think I've hear you pay more complements on the 350 than any other piece of equipment that you have.
Trees are just giant weeds.

1 small problem with the burn when it gets out of control, then things get crazy

Thanks
Love your vids Chris and like Aaron's too! great collab
Do you prefer the graptor rake over the pro-link thumb? I have your LD18 pro-link thumb on my 15T machine and love it.
Going to be a nice fire
You need a 45t haul truck or a much longer 25t lol
Hey Mr. 'Brush Fighter'
I see now how heavy that grapple is the way it’s bouncing you around
Is the Stumper able to handle the side force that you are putting on those forks? Those pine trees are really packed together, as seen at 34.2. Only the tops are a live everything below is dead. What a beautiful day. Thank you and have a great day.

It sure would be nice to have one of them graptor rakes instead of having to clear similar material…with a 349…with a fixed thumb 😂
Chris, on a long profile job, have you ever created one long burn pile instead of heaps, it might cut down on tracking time
