Patty used to call my friend all of the time, she was the trendsetter for all the British rock stars girlfriends/wives. When she changed her hair they would all gossip and follow suit. She was truly the princess of style.

I knew that Eric Clapton had ended up marrying George Harrison’s wife and that he was hopelessly in love with her even though Clapton and Harrison were best friends. I did not know that she divorced George because of infidelity though.
