I can most definitely see why Pattie had the effect she had on George then Eric. Pattie had that woman-child appeal. But there were probably others reasons two music icons wanted her. There are reasons other than physical looks, people, that draw people to others. Compared to Twiggy, Pattie was drop dead gorgeous. Twiggy started anorexia. Men that don't talk much come across as mysterious. Same with women. It's attractive.

Clapton's After Midnight has the most alive bass line I have ever heard. Layla's pulse, whoa! How can she blame Ringo's wife when it was George who went for her? No blaming George
George Harrison was a genius in musik. But he's mindset was destroyd by supressing him a long time. He was born new, in the time with triviling wilsbourys, they was his right musican friends. I think Clapton wasn't a good friend.
