Pattie Boyd was such an amazing icon in 60's & 70's. She's one of my favourite 60's & 70's inspirations and of course Devyn you are too. Im big fan of 60's & 70's and I want to dress like her on halloween and i don't know why. I love her iconic blonde hair and she's so iconic & groovy. Devyn you are my favourite 60's & 70's youtuber you know mate.
Great video as always. The Beatles is my all time favourite band and I love everything that has to do with them. Please do a similar video about Edie Sedgwic. She is my favourite fashion icon! Greetings from Greece!

Great video. Thank you. I'm 60 and until watching this video, I never saw so many pictures of Pattie Boyd during her time with George or Eric Clapton. Very nice.
Love how you obsessive u are with these pics, and the attentiion to detail is how i look at 60s/70s fashion, i prefer looking at street style too, especially airport style!
Girl! Let me just say...I stumbled across your channel and I'm so glad I did! Im binge watching you! Love love love your style and you are very talented at putting outfits together!! I have a bedroom turned into a closet and I love spending hours in there doing the same thing. You are so INSPIRING!!!! Your absolutely adorable and I just love how perfect you and your boyfriend compliment each other so well! Yall have such a flare for music and fashion! Rock on!☮🕊✌🎸🍄🎼
Awwww Devyn! First off you look ADORABLE 🥰 that hairstyle, the pink, so cute!!! Also those sandals of pattie’s! I’ve actually written to shoe manufacturers asking if they can make me some 😂🥰 sadly no leads yet but I’ve made it one of my life’s missions 😂🥰 love you darling dev
I think you kinda resemble Pattie same hair and features and with fashions looks for sure. And I always thought my dad durning those times looked like George.
I was fortunate to be in that era in real time. I fell in love with George right away when I saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show, then seeing Pattie in A Hard Days night when it was released was it for me. They became my favorite rock couple and still are until this day. I got a subscription to 16 magazine and kept up with them in the news reports and magazine stands. Of course, buying up all the Beatle records as they were released was a big part of my life. I even aspired to be a model because of Pattie. Never thought I'd look like her except when she changed her look grew out her bangs, thinned her eyebrows and softened her eye makeup in the end of the 60s, 1970. I remember when she dyed her hair a reddish color, it was shocking to me. At the time there was a Victorian (or 30s look too) revival. Around the early 70s. Granny dresses, boots, long chains and chokers with cameos etc. Then also when Ringo's wife Mo started wearing hot pants and boots, I bought some over the knee suede boots and velvet hot pants and a midi coat. I was also wearing micro mini skirts in school (we weren't able to wear pants in school back then). You would die to see all the cool fashions, purses and shoes I had through the years! I die thinking about how much it would all be worth if I held on to it. I went to the Barbizon school of modeling and was told I would never be a runway model because I am petite even though I had the look. That is the way it was back then. Of course they are more accepting. I sell things on Etsy to girls like yourselves who adore those era's and I think it is so cool and fun. I consider myself an expert on fashion, I paid close attention to all the trends through the decades but always loved to have my own style, too.
The white suit was at Cannes. The pics of them with Jane Birkin was the same trip. That was a big deal in the press at the time and so was the India trip. I also adore Pattie's huge red Lucite ring. I always looked for one like it but only has smaller versions. She was wearing velvet with the boa. I always thought she looked so good in sandals, she has such long legs. When they visited Haight Ashbury in '67 that was in press because of George being very vocal about how the hippies were a mess and on drugs. He wasn't impressed. Usually everything the Beatles did ended up in the news or the newspapers and magazines. That was our social media back then. I have a huge book of clippings that I took from all the magazines I had through the years.
Oh do Sharon Tate's style. She wore beautiful little dresses. She was beautiful. My sister just gave me a book about her and there is a page in there about George talking about Sharon when they met. When she was murdered that was such a scary time here in L.A.. Later I married my husband who's father was one of the police officers at the Cielo Drive murder scene. There are pictures and films of him there. I will never forget that hot muggy summer. I saw a special with Debbie Tate showing Sharon's outfits. I see an Etsy store who makes replica dresses from the 60s and 70s and they make many of her dresses. Oh sorry you did do a tutorial on Sharon I see. Very cool.
Could you do one for Maureen Starkey ❤ I'm planning to do a make up tutorial for Maureen, as a tribute, because after reading further into her story, it's incredibly sad what happened to her. I was planning to play "This Boy", as its Ringo's theme. I like Pattie Boyd's style and she has inspired wonderful songs by George and Eric, like "I need you", "if I needed someone", "love you to", "Layla", and "wonderful tonight".
I watched it all in real time as those eras unfolded. But then we didn't have social media so we didn't always know every single detail. But I will never forget when the Beatles broke up and when I saw the scene in Apollo 13 movie (the daughter freaking out) I was beside myself about it. I even got a letter from 3 Saville Row telling me that they were disbanding. We did hear the triangles of Mo, George and Pattie and Eric, George and Pattie. I followed the Beatle girls since 1964. They were sometimes in news reels and in the magazines. Pattie was always visible because of her modeling. She was always my favorite Dollyrocker. George and Pattie will always be my favorite.
I love your hair in that braided crown ❤ you look and always are so beautiful ❤❤❤ You definitely have Pattie's hair colour and a similar facial structure ❤
Devyyyyn i don’t know what would be my life without you. Also i love your bangs , i would like to cut mine like yours, but i can’t totally see how is divide and cut your front hair and bangs, please help us✌🏼
3:45. I immediately thought of that outfit before the video even started, it has always been my favorite. Those sandals are iconic. It's hard to see in some pics but I believe they were a purple color. I wonder how expensive it would be to have them replicated by maybe a leatherworker or costume designer
The trim on the coat that you like is Mongolian Lamb. You have a charming style; your hair is adorable in a coronet; one of my favorite styles - so feminine. Also love your painted on lashes a la Twiggy (yes, I was a 60s girl). If you enjoyed Wonderful Tonight, you might also enjoy Miss O'Dell - about one of the women who really was an insider with the Beatles in their very early years (I think her first name is Chris). Pattie Boyd is an icon and she and The Twig influenced my greatly when I was a teenager. If you haven't already done so, how about tipping into the fashion of Jane Asher. Thank you!
Also I know it's fast fashion, but I've kept pairs of primark sunglasses for years and years which makes me feel better about it, I got some lovely heart, and hippy round wire glasses from there so it's worth a look. X
Yes, chokers are a very old fashion trend! They were super popular in the 18th century and women would often wear little cross pendants hanging from them. :)
can you do a differences between 60s and 70s clothes? whenever i google one of the decades i usually see the same pictures for both and have a hard time distinguishing between them. i know that late 60s and early 70s clothing are pretty similar but i was wondering how you distinguish the decades!
I enjoyed this. I love 60's fashion, and one of the key people is Anita Pallenberg, who's associated with the Stones. If you agree, could you please do one on her too?
How do you do the half-up hairstyle with barrel curls at the top of the head that hang loosely? I've seen a picture of Pamela Courson with this hairstyle, too.
These styles also translate well,. into Stevie Nicks/Buckingham,. or Heart,.the Wilson sisters. Liked the narrative - never,.. stopped to considering this before . Pop Culture.
She is beautiful! You have some great photos. I stopped loving Patti when she left George for Eric. I'm a fan of both George and Eric but my heart went out to George.

Patti rocked the Biba style.

We wore our hair sorta like that in the early 70s. Cute.

🤔 you’re right, i’ll check out again the video
You should do more videos like this! it's nice to feel like you're chatting to a cool friend when you're stuck in the house! x
Chokers were very popular in the Victorian era. Also Indian and other tribes from different cultures have worn chokers too! Been around a long time!👍
Exactly! It’s funny people only associate them with 90s/2000s style
Have many of these pictures in my scrapebook from the 60s . Started it it 1963.
Love you Devyn!
Love her sm, also, she totally rocked the thin brow trend
Me fascina Patti.... gracias por el vídeo. Saludos desde la Cd de México.

you should do a video on Pamela Des Barres outfits in the 60s and 70s, they are so beautiful!
A Marianne Faithfull version of this would be killer
You look so much like her ❤️
Also I know it's fast fashion, but I've kept pairs of primark sunglasses for years and years which makes me feel better about it, I got some lovely heart, and hippy round wire glasses from there so it's worth a look. X

I love that photo, my dad has seen the Rolling Stones, My Grandma has seen Mick Jagger at Heathrow and my Grandad has seen them as well, I think
Yes, chokers are a very old fashion trend! They were super popular in the 18th century and women would often wear little cross pendants hanging from them. :)
also very popular at the time were bead/pearl chokers

It's easy to see the difference from sixties and seventies, eye makeup, jeans, dresses, etc, having lived in both era's.
Would love a Marianne Faithful inspired video ❤️
Girl where is that shirt from? It's gorgeous!
I enjoyed this. I love 60's fashion, and one of the key people is Anita Pallenberg, who's associated with the Stones. If you agree, could you please do one on her too?
You’re so pretty!!! 🌼🕊☮️❤️
loved this
You should do an Agneta Faltskog from Abba inspired lookbook
If only you had dyed your hair blond (and tattoo covered), you'd have really nailed it. Love Patti and the great photos, thanks!
I love this
How do you do the half-up hairstyle with barrel curls at the top of the head that hang loosely? I've seen a picture of Pamela Courson with this hairstyle, too.
You should do Pamela Courson’s (Jim Morrison’s muse) hair and makeup. I think there is a pic of her with an updo.
I want to see Pamela's curled updo she had for the Themis photoshoot.
Jane Asher,cilla black, Mary Quant.
Can you do a vid on the makeup you're wearing here? 👀💝
I think you look like the The Brit It girls of the 60s and really do have a Patti Boyd vibe.
Where is your dress/top from? It's so cute!
Beautiful ♥️🧚🏾♀️
