Rocky Mountain Adaptive True Rocks ❤
They’re the best!!
Yay for the backup inverter!
So great and encouraging
Fantastic adventures!! I cannot believe you called yourself LAZY!! You are the least lazy person ever! What a great company Rocky Mountain Adaptive! I need to get to Banff!
Haha well I’m lazy in my day-to-day life, but I suppose that’s just a conserve energy for outdoor adventures 😃
Thank you for conveying the good vibes, the scenery and the importance of friendship.
Two hugs for two athletes 🤗🤗👩🏼🦽👩🏼🦽
🙌🙌 thanks for watching
WOWSERS the color of the water!
@@dixielambrecht7009 it was like a dream!
seriously...wow..is that real?
How fun is that!
Such a breathtaking place to explore with wonderful company
Great adventure. Good partnership. Thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it.
Love Foresty! Plus he has an awesome "real" name. lol.
Haha yep of my favorite Simons! Although I can’t say I know three 😂
I so look forward to your adventures! Thank you so much!
Aptly named video Lisa, you both are truly BADASSES!
Haha thank you!
You're a Champion Lisa You're an Inspiration for everyone ... I just Subscribed! 🤘 Beanie
Right on, happy to have you along for the adventures.
@Keepinitwheel306 Merry Christmas buddy 🎅🎄⛄
amazing what a person can do , given the opportunity, In our own little world we never realize how many there are that are disabled physically and mentally. In every age and every walk of life there are difficulties, So happy for you
Your words are so true!
This episode was simply enjoyable! Shots are great and diverse, 👏👏
Thank you very much. I’m working on improving my videography skills so I appreciate the comment.
This must be my favorite video ever. The one person rickshaw in the background even got me teary-eyed. I never even knew such a device existed. With that I could take anyone hiking that is able to sit.
Isn’t it great!! It’s called a trail rider and I had the opportunity to try one this summer. Everyone deserves to get outside and the trail rider gets the job done 👍
This is amazing. You can't go wrong with Foresty Forest he is amazing too.
Such a genuine person - it radiates even through video
@@Keepinitwheel306 Nah, I am made up of mostly plastic at this point . Micro Plastics for the win!
Everything about this video is beautiful
Aw thank you I appreciate you saying that
Thanks for your video Lisa! Incredible ❤
🙌🙌 thanks for tuning in
Gorgeous - so many beautiful places in this one adaptive adventure! Makes me want to go visit! Thanks, Lisa - you also inspired me to go investigate chicken dumpling soup. :)
Did you get around to making some chicken dumpling soup?? 😄😄
@@Keepinitwheel306 Took the easy way out - canned Chicken & Dumpling 🤣
Extraordinary experience. All the magic that these tours can bring is reflected in your smiles. Thank you for this wonderful sharing! Sincerely, Marc L.
It’s been months and I’m still smiling from that adventure ;)
Great episode what epic adventures you go on, i'm a wheelchair user in England.
Thanks! How’s the accessibility in England?
I want to say you’re courageous, but it’s way more than that. You’ve shown that just about anything is possible and filled your life with so many adventures that a lot of people never get to experience! ¡Eres increíble!
Why thank you, such an amazing compliment. The purpose of my channel is to show it as possible and it seems like I’m hitting that mark 🙌
Love your videos. Your level of determination is off the charts. I'm from Saskatoon, so it's great to see someone from the prairies out there enjoying the wide world. Foresty Forest is a big inspiration for me as well! You're slaying!
Jesus,The guy in the beginning almost hits the mountain goats…. some people 😂
Ha right! Must’ve been in a hurry and tired of us tourists holding him up
Great adventures! Such a beautiful area, Very enjoyable to watch..I am going to try the slow cooker meal. Also I am going to make a list of new things to try.. Thanks for the inspiration!
Right on, glad we could be a source of inspo!! I hope you got to use your slow cooker, it’s a great season for cozy meals.
Wow! It’s a great adventure for you too! Love it! ❤
I just rewatch the video and it’s making me longing for another adventure in the Rockies…
Thanks for tuning in.
Thank you for sharing your adventures. Lots of hard workouts and determination .
Love the views of Canmore!
Your stew looks great! Also that's a perfect song for the wrap-up at the end of your video.
It’s such a catchy song and now I hear it everywhere!! I like to think I started the song’s trending ;)
Wow! What a view! ❤
It didn’t even look real I had to pinch myself
Cool adventure, sharing your slow cooker meal will have more people inspired (especially me, I have the Bluetti AC180). I seen the tour of where "Not a Wheelchair" is made JerryRigEverything on youtube, the story is pretty cool how he got started making them. Keep smiling it brightens up the day!
It is a very cool story, I remember hearing about the couple many years ago, and it’s neat to see how they have evolved
Beautiful scenery. I also use a bluetti and am very happy with it
I’ve been using it a lot recently to charge my e-bike and it’s awesome!! You made a smart purchase too
Bluetti is my favorite! And that stew looked so good like comfort food to warm the bones.
The water on that lake looks heavenly! 😍
Bless u both from western NC.🎉
Great video. Such amazing women.
Aw thanks!!
enjoyed the video, Lisa. I thought it was sweet that you labelled yourselves as a pair of badasses. The 2 of you don't actually qualify as a couple of biker ganghounds. lol. Anyway, I notice that your vids are well composed , edited and accompanied by timely music and narration. So you're putting in the work, and getting very good at it. A pleasure to watch. We are all glad you're doing this. Keep going. I'll watch out for your next installment in Cal. ( Its been raining sideways here ) chuck
Just a hint from a longtime slow cooker addict, try to cut your veggies into the bit bigger chunks as that way they will still maintain their shape and texture better.
Oh, that’s great advice, thank you!!
What a fabulous advocate ❤.
Thank you.
I used to drive through the Rockies every year, traveling from Vancouver Island to London Ontario. Everytime I saw the sign 'Distracted driving laws in effect' I laughed and thought, 'then you should cover the road so we can't see the mountains' 😂
Ha yes that’s hilarious. It really makes me wish I had a copilot to do some of the driving so I could enjoy the views.
Sophie a dam good reporter and another good video ❤.
She’s the best!
Rocky Mountain Adaptive what an awesome group. The slow cooker what an awesome idea , the Bluetti devices are awesome. That was an awesome journey to the top , no doubt youre both badasses , Sophie must have arms of steel . What a view from the top. Definitely a well deserved meal to end that day. I was to Lake Loise a few years ago with my daughter but it was in May and there was still ice on the lake but not ok to get on , but unable to paddle in. Great video my friend I hope you have an awesome week
Oh I think that means you need to plan another trip to Lake Louise in the summer ;)
@@Keepinitwheel306 I'm thinking in a couple of years I'll be there again for a trip , have a brother in law and a sister in law in Calgary
@ well that’s just a hop skip and a jump away
@@Keepinitwheel306 exactly so once we're in Calgary definitely will be going there
I love watching your videos
Thanks for the encouragement to keep putting myself out there🙌
Outstanding adventures!
Thank you! 🙌 fun times with good company
Soon Amazing ❤😅
I tried a chicken dumpling slow cooker recipe that had cream of celery soup and it was too salty.🥲 Beautiful hiking trail!
Oh dear! That was my concern but the version I did worked out. Or I just have dull taste buds 😂😂
@ 😂
Oh man, that looks like soooo much fun! Thanks for bringing us along
Thanks for turning in 😃
Awesome video Lisa! Do you ever get used to peddling with your arms, do you feel more in control doing it? Those electric bikes are amazing! This video is a wonderful advertisement for the team who took you all out for a cool adventure!❤😊
The peddle bike sure was tough when I first purchased mine but now I’m pretty good at it. I took it on a grueling ride up a mountain and it’s a very capable bike.

Thanks for sharing with us .
Thank you so much for tuning in
Looked like fun, we enjoyed watching,
Oh thank you I appreciate the comment
Lake Louise is one of the most beautiful spots on Earth - I went there several years ago and will never forget it. I'm so glad you got to visit there and have an adventure.
Thank you I’m glad too. I was there as a young child skiing, but it’s not the same in winter! I’m happy you got to visit area as well
Wow, thank you so much for sharing that experience! What a stunning place, and what an amazing company providing all those adaptive options. It's made me think I need to have a better look at what's available here in the UK. 😃 I've got a fairly good off road wheelchair but I'd love to do something like kayaking.
You should look into an organization called Adaptive Expeditions! They’re from the UK and they do outdoor stuff and it’s usually a multi day kayak or bike tour.
@Keepinitwheel306 oh ccool, thanks!
Water in the lake was so beautiful. Thanks for taking us a long with you on your adventures.
It was so breathtaking and almost didn’t look real 😍
I can only imagine what your videos mean to others like yourself and the inspiration that you bring to them! Love it.
Oh, I hope you’re right and my videos do show the possibilities out there. Thanks for commenting that.🫶
Lisa thank you for sharing your fantastic adventures with Sophie. I've now added something to my bucket list, I never thought possible: a trip with my youngest daughter to the places I wondered around in my late teenage weekends, over 40 years ago. She is half Canadian but born and raised in England and never seen the beauty of your country - that's going to change now... and yep, you two are completely badass!
Yay, I’m glad we could be some inspiration for a bucket list 😄😄
What fun week in one of my favorites areas the lake is the most beautiful.
Just a tip when cooking in a crock pot. They make crock pot liners so you have easy clean up and won't have to use all of your water 😉😢
Yes, that is an excellent idea!! I wonder if they come in small sizes for my mini crockpot
@@Keepinitwheel306Yes they have different sizes that I seen on Amazon.
I must say Canada has the most beautiful scenery and places in the world! Great video! Loved every moment!❤
I am very lucky to be able to enjoy the Rockies twice a year… such a beautiful place
❤WOW..... WHAT AN ADVENTURE, BEAUTIFUL!!!
The BEST!!
AMAZING BEAUTY!!!
The Canadian Rockies are absolutely breathtaking!!
🤗❤️ truly inspirational.
🤗
What an amazing week! It looks like you had a great time. I wish we had something like that in Ohio.
How about Hocking Hills State Park? It’s not quite the Rocky Mountains, but it does look beautiful.
@ I have been out there a few times just this year. A couple of trails are handicap accessible. There are quite a bit of stairs on some of the others. It was nice to be out.
@ nice to hear there’s some trails that are accessible
@ definitely, wish we had more though.
Hi Lisa
Hello Sunshine,🌞
Its good to see that er are organizations that organize this
For people who cannot afford the necessities
But who can still go out 🌴🌴
I think that these organizations have more right on government subsidies to improve there products
For people with other disabilities 🌳🌳
I may be a handy person, but I dont know if I will build Exacly as my niece needs it 🔨🔩🪛🪚
And such institutions probably wil
Have FUN and be SAFE
And by the way:YOU ARE NOT LAZY 😡
This is amazing. I love the spotting too.
As in - the volunteers spotting us on the sketchy drop off on the bike trails?! If so, yes!! it gives so much peace of mind
you 2 ladies are true beauty and inspiration
Aw thank you!
Bamp National Park is amazing and Kenmore. I used to live in golden BC.
Awsome adventure. Great crew. curious as to how much the battery had left when done with cooking... Thanks!
I didn’t leave it connected to solar since I was away from the van and it was down to 20% or so
Omg the color of that water!! 🏞😍 !! I love that you take us on the adventures with you!! Lake Loise is now on my bucket list! You're amazing!! ✌🏼💕✨️
Yes!!! Get out there, it’s bucket list worthy!
When we cook using a slow cooker. We use a cheap wall timer to turn it on and off. That allows use to set up groats(steel cut oats) at night and wake up to cooked morning oats. It might work for you on your battery. You will get the timing down with your slow cooker. You get to play with your food.🙂 Even if your Mom said no.
So glad that you are getting out there. Go girl.
Excellent idea!! Thanks!!
I'm so glad you get to experience these things.☮
Ditto! Haha
A fantastic video with amazing and inspiring people showing what’s possible!👍👏
All thanks to the wonderful people at Rocky Mountain adaptive!
Hi, dear Lisa. Hope all is well. What a beautiful place.... Fun Fact: Foresty Forest's theme song is my alarm o'clock!
I had a great time watching you having a great time!
Thank you for sharing your time, and experiences. You are adorable! I know you are an adult, but in comparison with how old I feel, you are split cells that have not joint yet!
Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay happy!
Pops
Ha what a theme song to wake up to! I think I need something louder like hard rock because that theme song would lull me back to sleep
This was awesome! What an epic thing to do. Also, that lake might possibly be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen ❤🎉
It didn’t even look real. Apparently it’s the type of silt that settles at the bottom that gives the water the color.
That's special 💜
Was so looking forward to this video after seeing Sophie IG story’s at the time and you didn’t disappoint :) awesome xx love both you guys, I need to try one of the Bowheads out… x
Yes but be warned if you try a Bowhead…. You’ll want to purchase one! 🤦♀️😂
Wow, you both looked like you had a fabulous time. Such stunning scenery too.
It was absolutely breathtaking and made even better by great company👍
Your an awesome person whish i could meet you in person. You do alot only i can Dream about. Keep living life to the fullest
Back in the day, I used to camp in Northern Arizona and absolutely HATED those washboard roads LOL
It’s always a chore putting the things that rattle off the shelves back in place after haha
Fabulous adventure - hats off to you two . . .

😁🦃day
When you were preparing your ingredients for your slow cooker I was telling you that it's all to small but you just carried on ,HA HA Seriously think chunky next time and only heat the slow cooker on high then as you leave put it down to low and it will be fine after six hours ,loved the vlogs ,
Haha I think I was compensating for the smallness of the slow cooker but I’ll heed your advice next time!
@Keepinitwheel306 Did I mention I used to earn my living cooking and when you're cooking for 2500 or 1 boiling point doesn't change so good luck cooking and try a nice summer siyo to warm you up this time of the year ,ingredients.....some of this and some of that basically what ever think will taste nice mostly works out great but you can never remake the sane one twice even if you write the ingredients down HA HA
I am an ambulatory wheelchair user because of years of severe rheumatoid damage. The crank mountain bike wouldn't work for me because of damage in my hands, wrist, and elbows. That not a wheelchair might be ideal, if I can find a way to haul it. I miss hiking so much, and though my wheelchair can do pretty well, it really prefers smooth surfaces and it doesn't have a wide enough wheel base for anything tricky.
Where do you reside? You might be able to rent something similar if there is an organization nearby.
Great video love the scenery-the not a bike looks similar to the Exotec from Norway. Hopefully one day they will distribute here.
Much love to you girls!
Thank you, I appreciate you tuning in
I loved everything about this video Lisa!
Such cool adventures and the loving, caring people that made/make it possible for you, Sophia and others.
The glacial water color of the lake brought back great memories for me of one of my own adventures to the Kenai river in Alaska.
The stew looked delicious.
One question. How much did the Bluetti drain down to after those 6 hours?
I think it was down to about 20% and it wasn’t hooked up to solar power since I had left the van for most of the day
You cannot go wrong with Bluetti, I have 4 of them!
@@JetVet4Jesus it’s been such a great addition to my van, especially with all the e-bike charging I’ve needed lately
Thanks for a great video! Looks like you had such an adventure😃 I also thank you would have loved to try the ExoQuad for that hike, there really is nothing like it for hiking with wheels!
Oh yes, I’m not sure if anyone in Canada has an exoquad to try but I’ll be on the lookout for one
When i was in golden I went to lake Louise I only had the chance to stand out in front of it and stare up at the mountains. Cause the people I was with they were lazy. I could have walked around lake Louise but I never did and I wish I could have.
I hope you get another chance, it’s breathtaking!
@Keepinitwheel306 im hoping so as well. From all the videos ive seen it definitely is Is breathtaking. Im all about Nature and hiking and everything to do with nature.
Not a Wheelchair? Thats the one designed an built by youtuber Jerry Rig Everything, isn't it?
Yes that’s right!
oh my gosh the views!!!(b.s. to your lazy comment...you are the least lazy person, girl!)
Ha well I feel lazy in my day-to-day life but I suppose it’s just to conserve energy for my outdoor adventures 😃
🫶🏼
In true Foresty form, the mountain summit is rewarded with a slow cooker meal. That looked amazing all around!!
Ha yes!!! Foresty sure sets an example to follow!
