So beautiful!
Happy Easter!🐇🐰🐣
As an Ex Army musician I will be villified by my former colleagues, but I have to say what a wonderful arrangement and performance of Howard Goodall's 'Lacrymosa - Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep',
performed by Musn Christian Pethick and members of the Royal Marines Band Service, Easter 2021., great Soloists and Keyboardist. Kudos to you all. I am composing a Requiem and would love to hear your ensemble sing my The Lord is my Shepherd.
Utterly beautiful. As an ex Royal Marine I could not be prouder of the Royal Marine Band Service . You are the best - by far. Thank you.
We read this poem at my mums funeral, Dec2020 (at her request). Hearing it renditioned this way has made me smile and cry simultaneously .
I am a retire US Army soldier. That was amazing. Keep up the great music.
Absolutely beautiful stunning rendition
Bravo, superbe chanson et superbe mélodie. 👏👏👏🇨🇵
A fitting song for the former Captain General. God rest his soul.
Absolutely brilliant 👏💕👏🏴🇬🇧
“Quiet people have the loudest minds.”
― Stephen King
Lovely arrangement; well done all involved. As a former Bandie (1965-75) I am so chuffed that the Corps still promotes our Christian values of Easter (and Christmas) which many seem to want to delete from our history. Bravo!!!👏👏👏
Really great. Thank you very much !!!
Oh my! So beautiful. Thank you so much.
Wow beautiful voices love this poem and song thank you guys Happy Easter have a lovely time with your families Lyn Sherlock (garland)
Totally moving, entirely appropriate for all of us who believe in Life after death in recent days.
BRAVO ZULU
Absolutely lovely❤️. Read recently that “ You’re not truly dead, until you’re forgotten”. This fits so well with this piece. Thank you guys. Best from Cornwall.
Extraordinary, exquisite . . . I have never heard a more fitting tribute to the men and women of HM's Armed Forces.
Absolutely brilliant .
it´s so emotional. Thank you so much
I have just used the words to Lacrymosa at a Relatives Ashes internment .Thank you so much for this Wonderful Video .
Kind regards Ernie
This is an absolutely exquisite piece, beautifully performed. Thank you: I have been accompanying singers for thirty years, and had never come across it before. I have listened to it so many times that, had it been on vinyl, I would have worn out the record !
Amazing and so many. Beautiful women, everyone singing their hearts out….Cohen will be smiling from heaven, next to god
Wow, a very beautiful rendition of the song. Thank you so much Christian and everyone involved, from Ontario, Canada.
That was truly beautiful... ❤😀
고마워요. 남녀가 화음을 같이하여 노래해 주시니 감사합니다.
The voice of Cp Daniel is amazing
Soul-wrenchingly gorgeous.
Beautiful! Congratulations Christian on an excellent rendition of this song.
Thanks for posting this Tim. It was very moving.
This has popped up on my feed today, feels very apt for HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. It would be nice if HM The Queen saw this; I think she would appreciate it. RIP to HRH, and well done all of you, and I thank you all very much for all you do, both militarily and musically, your music has helped me many times through the years. 💜
Bravo Bravo Bravo
Marvelous voices...
God bless the men and women of our Armed Forces.
The beautiful scene of the cross overlooking the mountain scene at 2:28 is Pretty Place chapel at Camp Greenville on the border of North and South Carolina. I went there as a camper, as did my father and my son. The music is wonderful.
Well done!!!
Very moving.
I love it so much...
Lest we forget. That was beautiful. And beautifully performed. Par Oneri
Beautiful.
Not what we usually expect from the RM band. Good work.

Tendrían que aprovechar más a Christian en los conciertos , madre mía que espectáculo de voz👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
- just, beautyful.- just emotion. - just a last word - on the last point. - Very good performance by all musicans, singers and on the piano!. - For me, very sensitive to the voice of Cpl Daniel Bennett.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the softly falling snow
I am the gentle showers of rain
I am the fields of ripening grain
I am in the morning hush
I am in the graceful rush, of far off birds
In circling flight
I am the Starshine of the night
I am in every flower that blooms
I am in still and empty rooms
I am the child that yearns to sing
I am in each lovely thing
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there
I did not die.
