Elk babies from West Kootenays

6 week old elk fawns from the Kootenays. The same day I collected this trail camera footage I was hiking down off the mountain when they were going up. I ducked down in some potentially tick infested shintangle as they wondered by me.
note to self; last tick of the season was a double header on June 25th)
