Total Caloies does matter! To help with calorie management eat boringly. Eat the same quantity, of the same food for a week. Did you lose weight? If not, the quantity of food consumed exceeded your energy requirement.

This is exactly what I do and it works. Same breakfast and lunch every day. Portions measured exactly. I used to do the same for dinner, but have eased up and eat with my family, but I make sure to keep it my smallest meal of the day. Basically a protein refill with some veg, minimal or zero carb. Use the scale once a week for feedback. If I'm not meeting my goals, dial it back somewhere. It's simple.

I make my own food and for every 8 cups of salad I use 2 teaspoons of vinaigrette dressing. Also use only spices and boneless skinless chicken breast cooked in either my foreman grill or air fryer. Another big thing to remember is timing. What time are you eat these healthy foods. My rule is things like fruits I eat in the morning (before 10AM). Otherwise later in the day or worse at night - that is still sugar being stored away. Eating early means you have time to burn it away. But of course the younger you are and active/athletic you are plays a role too - I used to be able to burn calories in my sleep. Not anymore, have to work harder now 😁

Best way to loose weight is to fast, exercise and eat only proteins. Eat only proteins for 2 weeks while fasting for at least 12 hours. Do at least 15min cardio every day for two weeks.
I tell you bro, you will loose weight like no man's business.
Just do it once and for all.

    • @daniel-ym9un

12 hours probably isn't long enough of a fast. Should try to go at least 16 hours without eating.

It’s amazing that calorie counting is still taught and believed when Keto has proven that you can eat more calories and lose weight at the same time.
Before the haters jump in, I’m not saying that you should or shouldn’t do keto… but it has proven that you can eat 5k calories a day and lose weight.
This alone disproves the total calorie theory.

@@Shaolin91z each person can do whatever they like… my point is that counting calories is a faulty theory and has been proven so. Why would “experts” in the field still preach it like it’s the gospel?

You can’t eat 5,000 calories a day and lose weight unless you’re an extremely high level endurance athlete. You probably aren’t which is why you’re still fat.
