Its true. I had a childhood friend who offered for me to pick my favorite shoes from the store we were in because it was my birthday. They didn't have the shoe in my size, so she bought them for herself and another "friend" of mine joined her. Both got a pair of my favorite shoes and I walked out with nothing on my birthday. I dropped her eventually. Fake friends always show their true colors.

Some people will distance themselves and others will try to get close to you so they can destroy from the inside. We have to be careful. I have many experiences like this, all I can say is if someone wants to be your friend super intensely. Asking about your personal life, mocking you, if you're doing good at school for example they are like how do you know that, basically secret competition. If they ask too much about your beauty products and try to find flaws about your looks. Comparing themselves with you. Looking at you and noticing all the things you have and they don't. Copying you. There are many ways so the things I do is I always test people if I'm suspicious. If they over react it's a sure sign their mask is off.

Crazy that you say that. I had a Capricorn friend that wanted to know everything about me but then would keep everything about her private. I made a mistake confided in her about something and she ended up taking the idea. And when I would try to vent she would always dismiss me but I would never act that way with her. Always there when she needed me. My mom is also a Capricorn and every time I told her about something I was working on for some reason it never came to fruition. I cut the cap friend off and I now limit what I tell my mom.
