Please help me, and pray for me. You see, the devil planted I trusive thoughts of list in my mind, and I have a la on knowledge, and have fallen into a pit of shame, grief, and sin, and I'm scared that I'm close to hardening my heart. I need your help, as I'm only 12. I don't want to leave Christ. I don't want to go to hell. I hate the devil and don't want ot be his slave. I don't want to be thrown into the lake of fire. Please help me.

Entrust your worries, anxieties, fears, and thoughts to Jesus, God the father (our father in heaven), and Mary (our mother in heaven). I wanted to let you know that these disturbing evil, disgusting thoughts you are currently having are not yours and that there is a way to overcome this. These thoughts that you are current;y having don't define you, nor what kind of person you will become, or what actions you will make, at the end of the day these are nothing more than thoughts. And you can overcome this by doing the following... #1. Acknowledge the thought, no matter how evil or disturbing it may be. Then... #2. Take a nice deep breath. Then #3. SHIFT YOUR FOCUS on anything that is around you, For example, today I was at work and I had a disturbing thought. I first acknowledge that it's there, took a deep breath while closing my eyes, and shifted my focus on the carts I was moving into Walmart's cart storage area. I focused on the rumbling sounds the cart makes when you move it on the rocky road, focused on the breeze, noise of cars passing, and the temperature. #4 No matter how disturbing that thought may be, even if it questions you, or have a thought that says something like "your x or do y" DON'T ENAGE ON THOSE THOUGHTS. If you try to have a conversation with those thoughts, all you will end up doing is make it worse. The best way to counter these thoughts are to, without engaging on those thoughts, acknowledge that the thought is there, take a deep breath, then shift your focus to the present moment by shifting your focus on something around you. (look at my example... If you have a bad thought let's say at school, follow the steps ofc, and shift your focus on anything around you like the lecture you teacher is giving and then add a comment on what your focusing on, for example the teacher's lecture and think "huh this lecture is hella boring..." #5 everyday and throughout the day pray, at least 3x times a day. Speak to Jesus and Mary about your troubles. Tell them your frustrations, your anxiety, your fears, and every little thing that is bothering you. Have a conversation with Jesus and maybe when your at home talk to Jesus like you would with a friend. And pray to him that he may please relive you from all of the unholy thoughts you have. #6. Do the "Holy Rosary" everyday, once a day and offer it to Mary. #7. I recommend that you read this exorcism prayer: "By the power of precious blood, by the Holy name of Jesus, & by the intercession of blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Michael the Archangel , all holy angels and Saints, I command the demon of "name the problem you're having" to stop afflicting me and go to the foot of the cross to receive your sentence." Example: By the power of precious blood, by the Holy name of Jesus, & by the intercession of blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Michael the Archangel , all holy angels and Saints, I command the demon of "fear" to stop afflicting me and go to the foot of the cross to receive your sentence. Example: If it's more than 1 problem) By the power of precious blood, by the Holy name of Jesus, & by the intercession of blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Michael the Archangel , all holy angels and Saints, I command the demons of "fear, anxiety, lust, intrusive thoughts,, etc.." to stop afflicting me and go to the foot of the cross to receive your sentence. #8 Don't analyze your thoughts or try understand them, there just thoughts. 90% of our mind is filled with mental gibberish so don't touch what is garbage. And remember that the lord is with you!! Whenever your tempted, have a bad thought, or scared go to God and pray to him. Make it a habit to pray every time you are in trouble. Don't dwell or engage in whatever thought or temptation the devil puts. AND REMEMBER the thoughts your having are not temptations. PS: make sure that you are receiving communion, confessing at least every 2-4x a week, praying, reading the bible, and doing the rosary. If you do all this you are not only getting closer to God, and your life gets better, but the devil starts to run from you. PPS: if you need help or need any advice reply to this comment 💪. (Also when you pray to God, tell him to guide you in your every thought, word, feeling, and action) Also don't depend or focus too much on emotions since they are decieving.

Truth. "Temptation" isn't being told to do things you don't want to do. You can't tempt someone who isn't willing. To resist temptation is to say "no" when the part of you that's bestial and weak wants to say "yes". Temptation is the good friend by your side who supports all your bad decisions. All for you to end up regretting them.
These skits are very insightful. They apply to both Christian and non-Christian faiths (and non-faiths) universally, because these thoughts occur in everyone, and stewing in them for long can be terrible for someone's mental health. It can lead to hating yourself from a sense of inferiority, loving yourself too much from a sense of entitlement/arrogance, and just being a miserable person, unhappy and not appreciating how rare the chance to live life truly is.

So real it's scary. Especially after leaving behind a life of sin, the spiritual warfare is real and hard. And the guilt of succumbing on occasion... I almost gave up a couple times. But the Lord gave me space then ushered me back lovingly again and again. I wish I could be perfect for the Lord but only Jesus is perfect. And He took mercy on sinners like me, that I may be perfect in God's eyes despite my past sins and despite my ongoing temptations. Hallelujah!
