Nice collection. Really nice they come in full pans too.. very unusual colours too. Have a watercolour-filled weekend, Miranda. See you on Tuesday.

I do enjoy the full pans - so much easier to work out of and gentler on my brushes. See you Tuesday!

Hi Miranda I hope that you are doing well today! I just saw the videos you posted yesterday and it MADE MY DAY!!!! Thank you so much! And I'm really glad that you enjoyed working with the paints! I am also relieved that you ended up liking the chrysocolla dark- it has given me so many headaches; no matter what binder concoction I devise it remains difficult to achieve instant reactivation. I think it's definitely going to take more honey - it's actually the only paint I which the binder contains honey. So I have some reds in the works - cadmium magenta, genuine vermilion, quinacridone scarlet. I have all the pigments, and lots of it, but time is the issue. I am constantly behind in my plans but I do my best. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I'm very grateful for your kindness and the delight & appreciation you gave in your videos.
    A billion thanks,
    Greg

Oh, I'm so glad you liked the videos. The paints are amazing and deserve it! I'm really looking forward to doing more paintings with them once I pick up a good red and get a few other pressing things off my to-do list, lol. Yes, a little drop of water and a few minutes on the Chrysocolla Dark makes it a beautiful color to have. I'll keep checking for the red, and you keep making wonderful paint. :-) Thanks, Greg!

Those are beautiful paints. I like that new way of mixing colors. That is really cool.

It was a fun way to mix, and I'm definitely going to try to incorporate it into my watercolor classes.

That Hematite is epic! Really interesting colours, and I like the Naples Yellow Light and Dark. I'd never heard of Jarasite...?(I've forgotten the name already, lol), anyway, it's quite unusual. What a cool collection of paints and I love your CD case palette! 😂

Thanks, Becky. Yes, that Hematite is quite interesting... I love the Jarosite - it'll be interesting to see how I end up using it in the future. The CD case palette is my favorite!

I LOVE Prodigal Sons paints, he makes some of the best handmade watercolors Ive ever worked with (so unique and pure)- especially his cobalt colors!!..If you ever make another order I definitely recommend you get his Cobalt Greens- his Cobalt Green Bluish and Cobalt Green Deep and Cobalt Green Ultra Dark are INCREDIBLE!!! THE BEST COBALT GREENS EVER- they are single pigment and granulate beautifully!!! Also since alot of the paint he sells are heavy historical extinct pigments I add a little ox gall to my mixes to help the paint move in water a bit and it works perfectly!! But yea I love Prodigal Sons paints and the owner is an amazing, kind, helpful, caring person thru and thru!! Anyway great video thanks for sharing and much love!!

That's really nice to hear that you've had such a great experience with his shop and the pigments and paint. Same here! I do have the one Cobalt Green Deep in this palette and it's gorgeous. Thank you for all this input - hopefully it will help others who read through these comments, too!

Those colors are so pretty and so different from any that I have. The look pretty sharp in that case too!

My shopping list is growing although the Naples Yellow Light is brighter than I wanted. I think the Hematite mixed with the Manganese Blue makes a great rust color & we do love rusty things! I could see using Jarosite instead of yellow ochre. We know he's coming out with a Chinese red-I have high hopes for that one.

You're so right about the rust color! I can't wait to try these in real paintings. The paints are all showing up more bright and vivid in this video than they are in real life. I'll try to remember to snap a picture of the Naples Yellows and email to you so you can see what they look like a little more clearly (hopefully). Really looking forward to getting my hands on a red or magenta. 🙂

I have fallen in love with Greg’s paints. Ever since Kim Crick posted about them my credit limit has been tested, lol (not really, but 🤭). My first order made me place my second order, and now I need a bigger palette 🥰. The quality of his paints and everything about him and his store set a high bar for other paintmakers, for me. Their pigment load, granulation, ease to wet, all terrific.
BTW, are you going to post about how you used watercolor ground on your red palette? Very interested in that.
Thanks for this video. Can’t wait to see how you use them! 🌺

Aren't they top-notch? I love them so much. Yes, I have a video that shows how I painted the red palette using watercolor ground - here's that link: ruclips.net/video/tjOL3O5-y8A/видео.html - thanks! Have a great weekend.
