We don't have the battery technology to save "renewable" energy long term. When it happens we'll see more of it used maybe but right now we don't have large storage systems for the energy needed to cover periods of low energy production.
Spread out in lines over the rockies in remote places would not only bring tourism and wealth to those remote parts but will allow more housing and country infrastructure
Most new houses should be fitted for solar panels and sell any extra electricity to power companies... We could even reflect some heat back into space?
Tornados, Hurricanes, Earthquakes, any of this sound familiar? If you have 100 by 100 that is 10,000 square miles of area. Don’t fly over it unless shielded you will roast birds in the sky not great.
SAYS the PG&E share holder. btw- solar panels are NOW being recycled. so are lithium batteries. the good news about the batteries? redwood materials not only recycles them- they recover 96% of the materials they intake- that's lithium, COBALT, nickel, copper, aluminum & carbon- at manufacturing grade- for CHEAPER than you can mine for those materials- and at a GREATER profit than you can mine for them.
Yeah, it’s better than the unrecyclable garbage you put in your car now. At least this is reusable energy. your dinosaur bones you put in your car won’t be around much longer.
Or each person could put one in there yard any thing that ceaats free power tap it on to the lines that already exist and send it down stream with enough of these it would make enough power to put the power co out of business burning coal etc they wouldnt have to do nothing but let the energy flow and were people work its like while some are home uaing the power other will be working allowing there power to be sent down the power lines and vise versa it will work freely
Yeah guys we just need to cover 10,000 square miles in expensive fragile and unrecyclable materials and find a place to store enough batteries to power an entire country for 24+ hours and we'll be set!
And how does this play out with the oil companies? The corruption is too deep. 😂
Why wouldnt the oil companies just do this and then corner the energy market? That seems like the smart move 😂

The panels have the output no problem. And batteries are getting better.
now hear me out the batterys are underground
Prime target for an attack. Shut down the whole grid
You don't have it all together cuz that would be dumb

"We need batteries" Elon, baby, this is a key part of it.
The hard part is getting enough lithium and cobalt. Start mining asteroids and come back to.
How many miles of batteries?

Yes 100x100 square miles of unrecycleable garbage that’s crazy expensive to make is what we need.

@@austinholt1535i took the catalytic converter off my car just for people like you
@@Nicktheblasian that’s nice, you’re still an idiot lol
wow real cool guy, yes you are@@Nicktheblasian
PHUQE yesQ But one house at a TIME! for short time.

The future is now, old man!
Why dont cha do it for us buddy?
100 miles x 100miles … really?? So easy?? Woah just 100 x 100 miles full of solar panels wow thats too easy right?! 😂 #sarkasm
100 miles × 100 Miles is like the whole England 🏴 😅
