To any woman that has gone through this, please do not blame yourself or your body. In many ways we have been conditioned to believe it is solely a woman’s fault when she experiences a miscarriage. It’s not discussed enough that men have rapidly declining sperm counts and often times have damaged/misshapen sperm. When this is the case, it results in chromosomal abnormalities which we know to be the most common cause of miscarriages. Thank you for being so forthright about these very personal and deeply traumatic experiences. Your story resonates with so many. ❤️

    • @lockandloadlikehell
      @lockandloadlikehell 2 года назад

It's strange tho, plummeting sperm counts, yet men keep getting bigger and stronger - world bench press records are now the equivalent of world squat records from 50 years ago.
We've numerous 6'8" 400+ lb *athletic* males now
They should stop producing phalites- that's the source of low reset men (and likely higher test females)

Miscarriages are so normal! Most women experience one or more. Some science shows it happens when the fetus isn't viable, so it's for everyone's health and not necessarily related to the mother. Cells doing cell stuff doesn't always work. My mom had 3 miscarriages, and had myself and my brother.
ETA: And for how common it is it's really disappointing there is not more attention and support to it.

I’m so sorry to hear about your losses and the way it happened the second time. I find it unacceptable that a hospital does not address a pregnant woman bleeding as an emergency. That’s insane!! It must have been really frightening and you must have both felt helpless.
It’s a true blessing to have such a relationship with your mum!! In my own experience, I’ve felt closer to my parents after becoming a mum myself, as if pregnancy and maternity bring mum and daughter/new mum on a different, higher level, as your mum knows what it feels and knows how much love goes to your own children, it’s something that goes beyond and above anything else in life.

Julia, you are not alone. I have 2 amazing daughters and 3 children in heaven. My most recent miscarriage was very similar to yours. My baby was 11 1/2 weeks old. I “birthed” her while hovering over my toilet in the middle of the night. It felt exactly like both of my daughters unmedicated births, except I lost so, SO much blood. I didn’t wake my husband because we had set an appointment to freeze sperm in the morning and I didn’t want anything to effect that. My husband has stage 4 pancreatic NET cancer and was scheduled to start daily chemo pills the day my miscarriage had started. I made it through the night terrified and alone.
After his appointment in the morning, I immediately told him to drive towards our birth center and told him “you’ll hear what has happened while I tell my midwife on the phone while you drive there”. Ultrasound revealed the placenta was left behind. I wanted my body to miscarry on its own as I had done with my other 2 miscarriages. My midwife said if the bleeding didn’t stop (it was now back a light flow) in 2 days I’d need a d&c surgery or I would hemorrhage again and it was a miracle I made it through the first episode. 2 days later I had the d&c. The following day was my birthday. It was surreal to be celebrating my birth when my child had just died.
This miscarriage started on November 1 and I’ve had all the testing available since. Nothing is wrong with me or wrong with my husbands sperm. It just wasn’t in Gods plan. We have one more chance with the frozen sperm and are praying for a healthy baby, but after back to back miscarriages- well, I know how defeated you feel.
I will pray for you and your lost children, as I pray for mine. I will pray that if you choose to try again, your next pregnancy will result in a perfect child, as will mine. Like you said, we women are all sisters. What you are feeling is valid, and you are not alone💜

Julia, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not see this until tonight. I am so glad you have Nick, your mom and all of your friends and family. I have never been pregnant, and I am 64, but I imagine that the emotional and physiological changes from being expectant to the loss and after the loss are very challenging and extreme. My sister went through a miscarriage and was dazed, very tired and depressed. She tells me she named the baby. My Aunt went through one and I think she named the baby. I'm not sure. I hope you feel better. Be gentle and forgiving with yourself as you navigate all of this. we as a society truly don't talk about pregnancy loss and how painful and traumatic it can be. thank you for sharing your experience. i don't have children myself, but i hope to one day (maybe soon!) and it's so valuable to me to hear so many different types of experiences. i hope you are doing well ❤️

I’ve just been through my second pregnancy loss. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this again. Heavy bleeding is so scary, I remember the fear of soaking through pads plus underwear. The hospital wouldn’t see me either. Sending love and hope for your future❤️

I was told when I had my miscarriage that most women don't even know they're pregnant and miscarry believing it's just their cycle. It is SO common.
Wishing you two the best. Just one bit of knowledge...take your time and don't stress it. 🖤

how do women not know this? Are americans just not educated about this subject?? I've literally learned that in high school.

@@joyanna9433 I think for some people that have heavy bleeding and intense pain anyways during each period, they may just assume it’s their normal period. Even with the correct prior knowledge

@@joyanna9433 American here. I learned nothing about pregnancy in high school except for how to prevent it (and it wasn't covered very thoroughly), and some people don't even get that, depending on the state they live in. It's really bad.

Joanna that happened to me. I had no idea but one night my body kind of went into shock - cold sweat, cramping and “period” was a little early and a little heavier than normal. They are heavy anyway though so didn’t think too much of it. When the mucus plug exited my body that alerted me to what happened after I researched what it was. Julia thanks for sharing this as hard as it must’ve been.❤️‍🩹

Sending you all my love, and positive thoughts. I've had a few early losses over the years but also four healthy babies, and one later loss like yours between 1 and 2 which was probably the hardest and most devastating. I am still hoping to have another child but have had multiple early losses since the birth of my fourth and I am worried my egg quality cannot sustain a healthy pregnancy, but I still hope and am happy to have four. Last week my father passed away after a very long illness/ dementia and I was blessed to find out I was pregnant that same day, unfortunately four days later I lost that pregnancy as well. I was sad, but I also felt comforted by the thought that my Dad was able to be with one of his grandchildren as they were both now in the same place and I keep thinking about how he is taking care of 'her' up in heaven and find it very soothing. I hope you will have your rainbow baby when you are ready and are healthy, calm, and happy in all things.

I miscarried once that I didn't know I was pregnant, hemorrhaged, nearly died and needed 2 units of blood. I have faith in you, if I can do it, I feel you can.
