I don’t count calories, track macros, restrict carbs, etc. I just eat and enjoy my food because this way of eating is satisfying, filling and allowed me to create good sustainable habits surrounding food.
    ✨SAVE THIS FOR LATER - RECIPES BELOW✨
Whole plant foods are the foods our bodies were designed to eat. So when we eat a diet full of them, we can eat in abundance all while our body heals and gets to a healthy weight.
I never feel deprived or restricted because I’m always so full and satisfied. This is why losing weight and maintaining was/is so easy. This is not a quick fix or “diet.” This is a way of life, a lifestyle change and the way I eat for the rest of my life so I can be my healthiest.
    ✨ Meal Details ✨
    BREAKFAST: Takes 5 minutes
    - 1 C rice (I use frozen and defrost it)
    -1/2 C shelled edamame (optional)
Lots of sliced cucumber and shredded carrots. I fill half of my bowl with these
    -1/4 avocado for topping
-Low sodium soy sauce or tamari or coconut aminos (to taste)
    - sprinkle sesame seeds
    - seaweed paper (if I’m not having this for breakfast - I can’t stomach in the morning).
    LUNCH: Takes 8-10 mins
-Any salad you like and all the veggies
    - For dressing I use my healthy vegan mama dressing (link in profile), or an oil free or very low fat dressing of choice.
    - Slice two Yukon gold potatoes into wedges. I like to do this and pop in the micro for 10 minutes. For hummus use any of your fav hummus. I have an oil free recipe on my blog healthyvm.com
    DINNER: Takes 8-10 minutes
    Any healthy Ramen noodles
    1/3 c chickpeas
    1/4 block tofu
    Lots of spinach
    - Boil noodles in veggie broth (just barely enough to boil the noodles on)
-add everything to pot. Mix in 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce, 1/4 c nutritional yeast and a few squeezes of sriracha.

I had an obscene childhood and made mistakes having been brought up to believe I was worthless. I stopped talking to my parents this year after my ‘dad’ started body shaming my 16yo daughter. Have got rid of nasty ‘friends’ and the bully men I attract- which is all I’ve ever attracted. Am now the master of my own destiny. Am not affluent but am in a happy full time min wage job which I never, ever thought would happen for me because my self esteem is close to nonexistent. I barely feel worthy to be here at all. But I am proud that my standards and boundaries are now air tight. I look after my children and if I’m single and friendless forever so be it, unless I find a non-bully as a partner/ friends.

    Greetings.
Words don't only have meaning; they generate power. Maybe none more so than the word love.
If many are asked to define it, they get lost in time and space. As a result, many confuse it with passion, or as some say "spirit-tek".
For the above reasons many are languishing, in bitterness, loneliness, broken homes, broken marriages and mentally poisoned children caught in the crossfire.
God came to man's rescue with divine education, and taught man what love is, but many choose to be in the dark, and like liquid, choose a line of least resistance and think sweet talk will impress God as a substitute for love. Love requires action. Without action there can be no love.
John 21:15, 16 states  "... .Jesus said to Simon Peter: “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” He replied to him: “Yes, Lord, you know I have affection for you.” He said to him: “Feed my lambs.” Again he said to him a second time: “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He replied: “Yes, Lord, you know I have affection for you.” He said to him: “Shepherd my little sheep.”"
Why is it so easy to campaign for politicians, but painfully difficult to do the same for Jesus Christ who many say they love?
JW.ORG has some new, refreshing topics for drawing closer to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ his Son. Please check it out.

It’s not about being vegan. I have lost over 50 pounds twice. Tried different diets. In the end, calories in: calories out. If you eat less and don’t eat after 7 pm at night, you should be losing weight unless you are taking in extra calories or are not consistent.

Yep that’s exactly right. There are plenty of overweight vegans. However it is about understanding calorie density and ending the dieting cycle.
If you are in a calorie surplus you gain weight, if your in a deficit, you lose. Yes calories in, calories out, exactly right. However, Eating a vegan, whole food plant based diet not only is excellent for health, allowing one to reverse (and prevent) so many diseases as I have, it can be the easiest and most sustainable way to naturally lose unhealthy fat. I have lost lots of weight eating this way and LOT OF FOOD at that.
I get to eat lots of food because whole plant foods are low on the calorie density scale 🙌🏻 I can eat when I’m hungry and I dont have to stop eating at a certain time, like you say 7pm. A whole food plant based diet is a win/win 🙌🏻
No counting calories, portion control, etc eating this way. I eat Large portions and I’m satisfied and full.
Most standard “diets” or how you are talking about eating require one to count calories or restrict because standard American foods are calorie dense. So to get in a calorie deficit you have to eat less and restrict. It’s just not sustainable in the long run, which is why most people end up falling off the wagon, gaining weight back, and “dieting” yet again.
End the cycle by understanding calorie density and knowing the foods that are more nutritional dense vs calorie dense. Then dieting ends forever 🙌🏻
I rarely write long responses like this, but when I see comments like this I’m reminded of how I was stuck in the dieting cycle and I want to share this knowledge to help. It’s so freeing to never have to diet again and effortlessly get to lose weight and be healthy eating lots of food 🙌🏻
