Today I am sharing with you another what I eat in a day as a vegan, eating a whole food plant-based diet that is centered around starch and naturally low in fat. I could effortlessly drop 50 lbs of unhealthy weight - eating more food and weighing less! Eating this way allows me to stay healthy and at optimal body weight. Breakfast - Blue Berry Oatmeal
Rolled oats - however much is good for you
1/2 ripe banana smooshed
1-2c milk depending on how much oats you use
1 tbsp chia seeds
frozen blueberries
Lunch and Dinner - pretty straightforward - no recipe, I'm just throwing staple foods together that sound delicious. Make sure to watch the video to see how I do this. It's how I usually create my easy, vegan, plant-based meals

Well I'm 74 and GRATEFUL to be Vertical Ventilating and Ambulatory daily ! (Went vegan at 70-Now I'm outta obesity, off of insulin,cut Metformin ,lowered BP meds-I walk outside an hour+ a day) .Here's how I harmonize with the HEAT! Pantry Chef strikes again! I love seeing you fit together a meal on the fly. I’m nearly 4 years into my new lifestyle and I certainly go through phases where I just can’t on veggies I typically ate daily in quantity. I got that way about cauliflower - I only liked it if I steamed it to almost a mush. Lately I’ve gotten that way about water sautéed veggies and, Tia, you’re my inspiration - sheet pan veggies for the win! Mexican inspired sheet pan veggies! Asian inspired sheet pan veggies! So easy, too. A huge high five to you for what I call my “Tia dressing”, which is your southwest dressing. As a mom of three, your lifestyle when it comes to food is so relatable. Thank you!
Haha you’re awesome! I do love sheet pan meals, maybe I’ll do another next week 🤔 I’m the same way with Cauli, if I eat it it usually has to be very well cooked, almost mushy.
Your recipes have saved me! I had tried everything and thought that I would just die being overweight but I have only been eating according to your recipes since May and have already lost 20 pounds. All I do is try to hit 10k steps a day for 5 days a week and then do weight training 2 days a week. Sharona's hill's dance/walking workouts really help me keep it fun to get the steps in so this feels very sustainable and has made me so happy. Thank you so much 😄

I put on a tv show that I like and walk/jog in place. Keeps me from getting bored and I get my steps in, especially since it’s been so hot!

I've been missing my daily outdoor walks as well. The heat and humidity in Atlanta are brutal. Indoor walking videos have been helpful (Walk at Home, Get Fit with Rick, Grow with Jo on RUclips).
How do your dinners usually go? Do you make the same thing for your family and typically eat together or is it more like this? I'm struggling finding what to do for my family when I'm focusing on losing weight, but my kids need to gain.

I am so with you on the broccoli thing! My first veggie choice has always been broccoli but now I have to chop it up super fine to eat it! 12 years vegan…I guess some things can get old 😂

Love your videos! Glad I’m not the only one who gets tired of a vegetable. I went through a phase of pulsing all my raw vegetables to rice size, but it would stink up the house somehow . Family didn’t appreciate it. Lol. I wish I loved to walk. Tomorrow I turn 62 and so don’t want to be inactive like my mom and grandma was to where they sat do much of the day. Trying to do better.

I cannot WAIT until my fractured toe heals so I can be active again! But I fell into a slump of junky vegan food over the summer (because of my toe, and a big move), and am looking to get back on the healthy eating train now!

I feel your pain with heat living in AZ. I like to walk early in the morning at 5:30am with the pups and friends. I easily get 2 miles in if not 3 :) give it a try.
