I really like how you show your paints, water, brush and blotting towel so we can see exactly how you do it. Thank you.
Love this! It's much better to watch this tutorial closer to real-time than the hyper-speed, time lapse videos. 👍🏾
Beautiful painting in soft colors. This is by far one of the best videos since you are kind enough to show the pallette as you paint so that we beginners can see exactly what you are doing. Thank you for this beautiful work of art!
I'M A 35 YEAR OLD WOMAN AND I WATCH THESE VIDEOS TO HELP ME GET TO SLEEP
THEY'RE SO SOOTHING & RELAXING
Elegant... Everything about this tutorial was elegant, the music, your brush strokes, the painting wow! TFS.

I love watching chinese brush techniqe. Elegant
I love to watch your hand dance to the lovely tunes over the White paper leaving these happy flowers, it calms my mind. Thank you.
Oh very cool! Great way to control the center blending by letting the outside dry just a bit! I'll try this, thanks so much!
Watching this video was so very soothing....lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Instructions?

Just found your site and am loving it. Very inspiring and totally therapeutic. What a lucky little baby watching you paint.
I really like that "not talking" lesson. I watched and painted after. Very relaxing. Sending an Email to you with a picture of my work!

How much I love this is beyond words! I will give it a try :-)
Thank you for sharing your skills. I think it's just as important to see what you do with your brushes off the paper as on. Do you always use this paper for watercolor?
The tutorials have done wonders for my works thank you so much, arigato, kamsamnida, grazzie, gracias, merci, danke
I really enjoy your videos, but wish they had verbal instructions.
I so enjoy your videos. And the music is so calm; I really appreciate that. My heart warms when I see you kiss your baby. But, overall, you are just so talented. Watching you paint is like meditation; it relaxes me and helps heal my soul. thank you
the music by the start reminded of "I'd die without you".. Haven't heard that song in ages lol.
Beautiful thank u for sharing your talent
Beautiful, doubt if mine would turn out anything like that! I love the music too.
I love it 🥰
just beautiful
absolutely lovely!
Awesome video. :) Mine bled out in a much more uncontrolled manner, but the results were still very beautiful lol
Jess Tolley can u please advise which paper to use.. cold press or hot press, and how much weight.. will 180 gsm do? Thanks so much, I am a beginner
Every person who reads this is wonderful :) Stay as you are guys.♥
so so beautiful!
Very good THANKS
very helpful tip...thankyou
Nice
stuning, I love your work. Is your paper wet ?
hello there! I'm an absolute beginner in wc. is the purpose of your first wash to create a wet-into-wet so that the next wash flows like it does when you put the washes in the center? you really make this appear so easy! Thank you and I hope I've made sense😊
I really just like to watch you use your watercolors..very nice. I try to mimic, but get nowhere. : o (
wooow love it 😍
you amaze me!
beautiful!
Would be perfect with colors names popping up
hello¡beatifull paint¡could you recomend me others watercolor ?
Super, precioso
hello joey I love your classes, I'm learning a lot with you, for a beginner like me, that you recommend me watercolors, thank you very much I hope your answer
Nice vid. I wasn't able to do you artwork tho, it was hard lol.
Whenever i try to make it bleed it never bleeds out nicely :c it kind of just stays in the middle like a little blob. But i'll give this a try and see what happens! Thanks for sharing ❤
It might have to do with the colours/pigments you use. Some of them tend to bleed beautifully, some just don't. The paper is very important, too. Good watercolour paper gives more satisfying results than cheap paper. (The listed watercolour paper brands Saunders Waterford and Arches are expensive , but they do allow more satisfying results.)
HerculePoirot Oh wow thanks so much for the tips!! Much appreciated! :)
Is the paper already wet before you started?
Please can you indicate what paper do you used? Especially what percent of cotton does it have?
Thank you.
Thank you.
How I understood it's 100% cotton, isn't it?
thank you Do you do any drying in between?
Which brushes you use and also suggest me the brush and colours to use as I am a beginner
love your videos ... where did you buy the bamboo brush?
I'm sharing people my brushes. You can check out my Patreon page on the description.
what is the difference between the shinhan and holbein watercolours.? I know shinhan is cheaper but both have the same pigments and names...i would love to know before I order a set,the question is of course open to anyone who can help 😊
Yes that's right. Shinhan watercolor Paint is cheaper than Holbein. Actually Holbein paint doesn't have much effect as their high price. But Holbein watercolor collection contains many exceptional and brilliant colors for advanced painter.
how can I start to watercolour it's so beautiful. can anyone do this
craftgirl, you can do it! Attitude more important than aptitude.Any start is your new beginning. Most important is a decent brush and lots of paper to practice.
You could start with a Prang watercolor tin and non-glazed printer paper (24 lb), but if you don't have a brush with good "spring" you could easily get frustrated. The brush is your friend!
A ream of printer paper is economical so you can afford lots of practice. You'll know you've got it when you can stop thinking and observe your brush strokes express your soul. The best advice to improve: a 15 minutes daily practice routine of a specific stroke or color trials. Hope the vid and these suggestions motivate more people tike you to.. Just Do It! :)
lindo
what the perfect paper when use a watercolors
300lb cold press is $2-$12 per 9x12 sheet. 140lb cold press runs about .50c/sheet and seems to be the standard for students and hobbyists.
It would be nice if you write and discribe what you do

What watercolor you use
Hi what type of brush are you using please?
Jessie McPhee , even though your comment is old, it sorta looks as if he's using a Round type brush.. A good type I've got the other day was of FolkArt at Walmart lol.
Hi! How do you keep your colors in the middle? Mine bleeds all over :(
waiting for them to dry
hello :) this effect varies from the brand of paint you use, some pigments disperse evenly and some are like excited puppies x0 - also try experimenting with various different wetness of the paper :)
lol@ excited puppies ..... made me giggle!
