    • @Yousitech
      @Yousitech Год назад +1

      You'll be more impressed if you take a bunch of polyfill and put in into the cabinet. You want the kind that's rolled up. Just remove the grille and the speaker itself and just stuff a bunch in. This helps flatten the frequency response. Makes a noticeable quality improvement

    Thanks for explaining the process simply, how would you go at linking a 2nd speaker to each of these speakers, so you have 4 working? I understand they all need their own power cord, but I am not sure about inputs and outputs, or if I would need a Male to Male XLR cable, instead of a female to male XLR. Help please haha

    I am new to the set up. I have a question before I purchase a Mackie mixer. How many line mixer will I need to purchase, I have a Roland speaker which I plug my keyboard, voicelive 3 extreme into. I plan on purchasing a tc helicon stage monitor. I have a guitarist and he sings as well so I think I need to plug in two mics, two helicon devices and the Roland speaker. Do I need a mixer with 5 slots? Thank you for your time

    I was afraid you were going to get some major feedback from the mic's being on top of the speakers. Not sure how you prevented that. Great Video. Do you know if the "link" cable on the speakers is for daisey chaining them, say if you had (4) speakers. I assume a normal m/f XLR cable would would work on a link cable. yes?
    Thanks again for the video and the tip about rca allowing for less output. Didn't know that.

    is it possible to plug an electric guitar and bass guitar directly to it? or it should have di box. thank you

    • @funnyvidperson123SOS
      @funnyvidperson123SOS 4 года назад

      Use a di box it’s safer

    • @cianmcnicholas7778
      @cianmcnicholas7778 4 года назад +1

      A DI box is recommended, however if you plan on going short distance between your guitar and mixer then it is not a necessity, a DI box simply converts it from an unbalanced signal to a balanced signal, hence why music shows they tend to DI guitar and pianos etc as they don’t want unbalanced cables running long lengths, and potentially causing interference

    • @cianmcnicholas7778
      @cianmcnicholas7778 4 года назад

      Also you will obviously need a mixer as the speakers only have 1 input

    • @saran4592

      The sound is better in cable than a Bluetooth because Bluetooth make sound delay ...if you doing djing..cable are recommended...if you just play song from the phone..Bluetooth is the choice

    Using TWO channels to Plug in the iPhone is really silly as you could've plugged BOTH those cables into the 5/6 Channel Strip ....
    ( i.e. 5/6 ... 7/8 ... 9/10 & 11/12 Strips are Stereo Channels designed for just that ,,, taking two plugs into the same strip ~ they are even marked "L" - LEFT & "R" - RIGHT ).
    ...This would Free Up Channel 7/8 for another sound source e.g. Laptop audio out, Background Music source etc
    Those XLR cables are also commonly known as Microphone Cables ... a less confusing term for beginners watching this.

    You have to be careful to use proper speaker cables, with xlr's, and not normal mic cables, even if they are balanced. If not being careful, it's as bad as using normal guitar cables as speaker cables. Something I learnt from experienced sound techies. It's all about safety, for yourself and the equipment you have probably spent a small fortune on.
