Sounds great! These are the videos and reviews we needs as DJ's and sound guys. I already test a pair of these at the store with the 12' Alto Subwoofer, which is another awesome all by themselves.
They do have a nice sound to them.
I am starting my new DJ gig and found this speakers pretty affordable to start up and this review made me make the decision to get them, thanks man!

I got the 50’s now sounds amazing
The evolve 50s are my favorite, those are my go tos for every event and I supplement with my qscs if needed.

I have two sets of these, I don't know if you have run into this problem yet, but the bas output on these, coupled with the small cabinets will cause the IEC power cords to vibrate and work themselves loose, causing the speaker to stop playing.... don't ask me how i know this, lol! But I would suggest getting locking IEC power cords for these speakers, especially if you are planning to play them at higher volumes, and with bass heavy music.
I have not had this problem but have not played them very loud for long periods of time. Usually I use these for cocktail receptions.
@@ludwigalvarezhouseofgroove7116 I took them to the club where I work and swapped a pair with the speakers that we run there, just to give them a thorough test while still in the return period..... they were holding their own, but I kept noticed that one had "died".... thought I killed it, only to find out that the power cord had worked itself out. I always run a sub with my tops crossed over, so it shouldn't be an issue, but I bought some locking IEC cords just in case.
oh yes the slipping out IEC cable lol it sucks
I just shim them with a little electrical tape it works fine

Thanks for your comment. I've had all kinds of speakers, from Qsc to Behringer, all different price points but I really think this new alto ts series is a great option.

Hello, sorry for the super late response but I haven't personally used the TS312 so couldn't give a real opinion. I use QSC K12s for my outdoor events and larger events and I love them.
Great video! Which one will you recommend for an electronic music dj for small-mid parties, Ato ts310 or Yamaha dbr10? thanks
I haven't heard any Yamaha speakers so I couldn't make a recommendation but would definitely recommend the alto ts310 or 312.

Thanks for the video. what audio mixer suits the Alto TS308 when wanting play live sound music for parties.
Sorry for such a late reply, I'm not too sure as far as live sound but I imagine any mixer that has a decent EQ and effects will do just fine. I have a behringer x1204usb with effects for events that require several mics and it is pretty great.

Great video! I'm just wondering how loud the hiss is from the speakers when playing them at your garage since you are standing so close to them. I want to get a pair for use in a somewhat quiet room, so how audible is the hiss from the speakers at a close distance with no music playing?
I didn't hear much of a hiss, however that also depends on clean power.

Absolutely you can, start with one for now and add the second when you can.

A ceremony yes absolutely, you don't need much for a ceremony, really you could do it with one. I've a pair of Alto TX310 - I plug in to my Harbinger L1202FX 12-Channel Compact Mixer - Left /Right output - (supposed to be Line level signal (+4 dBu or -10dBv) with Zero volume, I got a loud humming sound. I then try it on the Control Room output (again supposed to be Line level signal (+4 dBu or -10dBv) and with Zero Volume - it makes a loud humming sound .. However, when I plug my Serato DJ directly into the speaker XLR it plays good with no humming - Any suggestion?
ngl i have no idea about dj mixers or even these speakers but id try using balanced quarter inch cables if possible

@@HorrorFreakNY I actually tested it out today and ran 1 alto 308, 2 ev wireless mics and a yamaha 8 ch mixer for 2 hours 30 minutes and still had 20% left on the battery. Highly recommend it.

I'm debating between these and the jbl irx108bt. I hear that the Altos are easy to overwork and mess them up. I plan to use them for small 50 people parties and for using around the house. I like the bluetooth option on the irx, but I figure I can get that with the bluetooth stick from alto. Anyways, what are your thoughts between these models?
These Altos are great for many small events, ceremonies, receptions, cocktail hours but i would go with your bluetooth option you're looking at. I still use these often and rent these out often.

Sorry for such a late reply, the gator bags I found on Amazon. Of course everything has gone up in price. I recently found new bags for some other speakers that are made by Rockville and they fit the TS308 as well. They were $49 each on Ebay. ROCKVILLE TB8 V2 Padded speaker bag.
Would these be good for play music that I am laying down recorded tracks and then singing to as well as playing an edrum set through? Are these as good or better than the Behrenger PK110A? For the $300 area which would be the best speaks for my needs?
Hi Mark, I personally had a pair of the first Behringer powered speakers and they were great, not sure about that particular model. These speakers are loud and I find myself turning down the bass on my mixer to avoid distortion. For the price I think these are great speakers but for your drum set I would probably go up a step to the ALTO TS310 or TS312 for that better kick drum sound.

Sorry for such a late reply but these do get super loud and yes you can add an alto sub to them. The alto sub has a setting on the back that let's you select which alto top speaker you will be using.

I have multiple other speakers like qsc k12s and ev evolve50s so really didn't need a bigger speaker. I guess I bought these for the small size and lightweight mostly for cocktail hour purposes. We've even used them for backyard Birthday and graduation parties and they've been plenty.

Sorry for the super late reply, I didn't realize the video was popular. They do not have any fly points but I imagine you can get a clamp that would attach to the side handle and mount a light there. Good luck.

Sorry for the late reply sir, the alto subs have a built in dsp that you can choose what top speaker you are using and will automatically adjust the ts315 so yes they would work great, it has 2 inputs and an output.
How many do i need for a karaoke in 12x12 space?
You would be fine with 1 in that small space.
Anyone compared these Alto with the QSC CP8?
Im sure the QSC's blow these out of the water, these are budget friendly and would recommend using a sub with them or just going with a 10 or 12 inch version.

They are not, I have a pair of the jbl compact pros, they are rechargeable and has a built in mixer, its very loud and the battery lasts over 12 hours.
