I agree. They really preform well at max output. Have you tried yet? Unity on the other hand produces low volume but they’re programmed that way I think to help prevent users from blowing the tweeters which was a common issue in the TS3 series.
@@DjSmoothNYI’m looking to buy a new set of speakers and I’m new to everything but I’m just wondering could u tell me when u use the mix out option through to the second speaker with two inputs connected in the first one does that make it much louder than it would be on it would be for just one speaker?
Would we hear both the voice and guitar when the output from speaker one was plugged into the input of speaker two, which was being used as a monitor, as demonstrated near the end of this video?
I've got the TS308's and am pretty sure that I'll add a TS408 or two, but I just can't seem to get answers as to how to connect a bluetooth signal through these to a subwoofer, and why is the bluetooth signal not available on the xlr output?
It’s the way they engineered them that prevents the mix out and Bluetooth to work together. I tried using xlr in, turned on Bluetooth thinking I’d save cable space and nothing! I thought it was broken until I came across this video, lol.
yes, I have a pair of TS412's and we use intro music to a few songs in the band I play in via the bluetooth function from my iPhone, the bluetooth and mix applications are independent and can be used at the same time.
I just got an Alto TS410 and the Sig/Limit is on showing orange even when I have nothing connected, when I connect via Bluetooth, it remains on even at low volumes and the audio will switch from being clear to sounding like you’re hearing it underwater. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this, thanks!
what kind of speaker would you suggest for life digital piano playing? no need for extra volume between 12 or a 15 inch, i'm looking more for a warm sound
Have u taken them out yet and what do u think? I picked up a set as well. Seems pretty loud but so do my Mackie Thump15A’s and I won’t know how these hold up until my gig on the 21st.
Great ?? I once had ts315’s and returned them right away after I started reading tweeter blow up posts. Recently I purchased a pair of ts415’s after researching that the highs now have 450w RMS and 800 RMS for lows. That seems pretty hard to blow. But for some Dj’s who don’t gain stage their levels and hit red, that will ruin any powered speaker quickly lol.
Hi, this video is the reason I got 2 15’s of these. They were working fine, but now they are glitching, albeit me having the music source next to them. I have troublehoot them a couple of times, but they continue with the glitch. What can be causing this?
I noticed that you didn't mention anything about the "Speaker Use" button. I have these speakers and regardless of what you set it to, the sound is the same. The button does essentially nothing.
I have four TS410. There is not a "Thru" signal out, just "mix out". How would I connect these four units in series mono and have the signal even on all speakers so the output sound level is equal? Would I set the volume using the first unit in line, then max out the input on the remaining three? I don't want to waste time setting each speaker input to match the volume of each. I have subwoofers to connect also, and I want to "daisy chain" all full range and sub speakers together with equal line level inputs. Thanks.
You have to max out on the other 3. Not sure why they programmed them that way but they’re even enough when done. I tried it myself before. I noticed the speakers are very tame until you hit 3 o clock through 5.
Hello, i am interested if i can put left and right signal input in one speaker and then use output from the same speaker to another speker, is it possible?
Hello! Yes, this is possible-one can connect the stereo L/R outputs from a line-level device into the CH1 & CH2 inputs on one TS4 speaker, then use an XLR cable to connect the MIX OUT output of that speaker to an input on another TS4 speaker (make sure to set all channel switches to LINE in this setup). Keep in mind that both speakers will carry both the left & right channels of your sound source in this situation, so the two speakers won't act as a stereo pair (with the left speaker carrying only the left channel and vice versa).
@@inMusicBrandsSupport thank you for your promt feeback. Can you tell me what is a difference betwen stereo piar and non stereo in this situation? Is there any differenec in sound quality?
@@shalva098 The difference in this situation is that both TS4 speakers would carry both the L & R signals from the sound source, as opposed to connecting the L & R outputs individually to separate speakers (which would yield one speaker carrying the left signal and one carrying the right signal). There will be no difference in sound quality, but since both L & R outputs are being sent to both speakers as a summed pair, any panned sound from the sound source will not be represented in the speaker configuration. For example, if a song you're playing has a synth riff panned hard left, and a guitar riff panned hard right, both the synth and guitar riffs will play at equal volume through both speakers, as opposed to a dedicated L/R speaker configuration which will more accurately represent the panning of the sound source.
@@inMusicBrandsSupport now understood and thank you for your explanation. Also what i noticed when i divide L&R signals betwen two speakers the music output seems less strong then in terms of summed piar and that why i thought that summed piar is better to get high output from the speakers.
I am using a iPad and dynamic mic through a mixing desk and then via XLR cables to the speakers. However the sound distorts dreadfully! Any ideas please??
@@lincolnlee6595You’re correct. It produces to much distortion because it’s not designed for audio. Max the source gain instead while using line input and save your speakers from premature failure. When I want to get super loud I just add 2 more 15’s and trust me the sound is amazing, even without subs.
The only parts of the TS4 signal chain latency applies to are when a Bluetooth sound source is connected or when two TS4 speakers are linked together in a stereo pair. In cases of delay between a Bluetooth sound source and a speaker, try moving the sound source closer to the speaker, or power cycle the sound source and/or the speaker. Likewise, when there's a delay between two Stereo-Linked speakers, power cycling the audio source and/or the speakers should do the trick!
The voice indication for pairing or any should at am is ALWAYS bad. There's never a need to hear "Bluetooth pairing" Never. Pairing should be nothing more than a blip. That alone will deter me from buying this.
Hi there, you can turn off the voice prompts on any of the TS4 Series speakers by pressing & holding the Bluetooth "PAIR" & "STEREO LINK" buttons until you hear the speaker say "voice off". Pressing & holding these buttons again will turn them back on, and you'll hear "voice on" to confirm this.
