Another GREAT podcast interview. BIG thanks to CBP and Shane for this wonderful testimony. I love how you can see the Lord's love and Spirit in all these different walks of life. No matter who you are, or where you are. He is there with you.

Shane's early attitude mirrored mine including the outdoors and hunting. Joining a Church was never, ever on my radar.
    But something changed.
    Another great interview.
    Thank you, Sister.

I love this! Shane is going to help so many with his journey back. How I pray that my loved ones will also come back. These interviews give me hope as I see that with God, nothing is impossible. Thank you, Shane. Thank you, Ashly.

Shane, thank you so much for sharing your story. It’s so inspiring to hear these humble testimonies. One family member that I’m very close to has lost her faith in the church. Her story has many similarities to yours. I’m praying daily for her that she too can receive those answers from God that passes all understanding. Any answers I share are not satisfactory to her, she needs to be taught by the spirit. These stories bolster my faith and patience. Thanks

Yes, some (perhaps all) of us have to learn through our own experiences, but when we do it's powerful. I hope everything works out for the best, I think it will. Just love her and be a good example. Wish you the best!

Thanks for this and all your podcasts. You should set up a Patreon page or other way to donate to you. I think many would be willing to do this as it is 100% positive and uplifting.
People would feel blessed to be able to give and contribute to it. Thanks again!

Thanks again to your guests and to you. You are doing an important work in bringing these stories to use. They show the transformational power of the leap of faith that must be taken by those who return and they give hope to us who have loved ones who have separated themselves from what we believe and cherish, and what I really believe many of them know deep inside.
    We love them.
    We miss them.
    We need them.
    Come home.
    Thanks again.

    • @rasmussenadventures6087
      @rasmussenadventures6087 Год назад

@Yancy827 the thing that helps me the most is avoiding reassurance. If I am feeling guilty or doubting something I must not seek reassurance from others or myself. It is a compulsion that helps for a bit, but it always comes back worse. Avoid reassurance at all cost! Easier said then done, the reassurance is like a drug, trust me I know😂. However, it helps so much if you can avoid the reassurance.

Most of Joseph Smith Plural Seals were just “for eternity” to link families for the after life. For example: Helen, the 14yrs old, got spiritual sealed to Joseph in her home with her family present, she never left her home to live with Joseph or anything like that. Two years later she married her actual husband and they had 11 children together, one of her children became an apostle of the church. She was faithful in the Church until dead.
Also, Joseph didn’t fathered any children with any of his plural sealings, only with Emma. Also there’s not any historical record of abuse or anything like that.

Of course not. Emma being told she would be damned if she didn't go along with it. No big deal there. Please look up what trauma bonding is. This man was a narcissist big time. Everyone and everything was under his control including the narrative

Talk about polygamy I’m the great great grandson of Wilford Woodruff. I hail from the fifth wife Sarah Delight. I may not be famous but I’m having the best life ever now that I’ve come back to the church. This tattooed, recovering addict is finally comfortable be back a church. The church had finally evolved even here in Salt Lake/Sandy area. It doesn’t seem to be judgmental 39:51 like it used to under our new Living Prophet. Daily repentance is amazing.
